I understand the stress your employees might be under, and I sympathize. I pay for walmart+ and enjoy the benefits of scan n go. It is my understanding that the self checkouts are modified to the managers discretion. There is 1 "self checkout" marked scan n go. There was a long line which I patiently waited in with my prescanned items. It wasn't heaping but it shouldn't matter. When I became next in line the worker shamed me for having too much in my cart and that I'd have to go to "not self check out". Maybe make one of those "self check out" for scan n go ONLY or train your staff to lead with "Scan'n'Go?☺️" before shame.

I shopped a lot of areas of the store and all of them were clean, organized, and well stocked. The changing room was open and someone was available nearby to assist. The prices were low relative to nearby stores. The only challenge was they had run out of bags the day I shopped (in check-out) but the cashier was helpful in loading my purchases into a plastic storage bin (part of my purchase). Every store employee I interacted with was very kind and professional.

Albany Walmart is always a good place to shop. It stays very busy. I would suggest shopping in the morning or day. By evening, the shelves are being restocked, so it gets a little tight, and the items you're searching for are often sold out and being restocked.

My dad was kind enough to order me groceries to help get me through a tough period in between jobs. I was able to pick everything up swiftly that I had mentioned to him I wanted and it helped me get through. Thank you.

This is one of the nicest Walmarts I’ve been to. It’s large and clean. The people are very friendly. The staff is helpful.

Walmart is a good place to shop however if you require a service dog I highly do NOT recommend it. My service dog has been attacked multiple times due them not following ada law and still allowing people to go in with their pets. So I now can no longer take my service dog with me and have to rely on my mom in case my medical issues kick in bad. I was told by staff they were told to just not ask because customers complained but when you call corporate they will tell you no they are supposed to be asking the allowed questions and if it isn't a service animal to make them leave and come back without their pet but they don't. As well as corporate told us when we complained they don't follow ada law they follow corporate rules instead. So if you require a service dog I would be very careful. Other than that there are staff in my Walmart that make sure I'm ok and assist me when needed. Photo attached is my service dog that I can't take into Walmart due to to many attacks by pets that were allowed in the store and Sadie is always in full gear and clearly marked as a service animal

My wife and I had a very bad experience at the Walmart Super Store yesterday, January 24, 2024. We went to the sporting goods section and were in need of an associate to unlock the cabinet that had an item that we wanted to buy. This was at 1612 hours (4:12 p.m.) I went to the sporting goods service center desk and no one was there. I waited for 7 minutes for an associate to come and help. No one came, yet I saw several of them pass by. At16:19 hours (4:19 p.m.) I called the main service desk and they made an announcement over the P.A. system. My wife and I waited for many more minutes but no one arrived. We then got our other things and went home. I came back later and made sure that I had an associate there to assist me. After two times at your store and 84 miles later, I was not pleased with your service...

January 27th, 2024... Customer service and store entry employees failed to alert all of its customers upon arriving that this store location had NO BAGS at all. None to buy or no paper bags, no plastic bags.... Nothing, we are at the cash register $392.80 worth of groceries in our cart and we're told that we could purchase plastic bins for $7 to put our "things in" ....how embarrassing!!! It made it look like we were trying to steal the groceries or use a stolen credit card or didn't have the money to afford the purchase...Overall customer service experience was awful 😞

Friendly. Beautiful folk in community. I travel cross country on bicycle with trailer and Barker the magic road dog and we see almost every Walmart. Albany Walmart 👍♥️👍

I... don't know. It's always a toss up whenever I go to any Walmart. You have shoppers who are very disrespectful and just plane rude. Then you have the employees that are either very kind and caring, or overly helpful and linger around you in a kind of creepy manner, or they just act plain scared, like they are afraid of you and try to avoid you. There is something in the air that just makes you feel like you want to turn around and run away and you feel despair and hopelessness. Then you are forced into self checkout where you have to watch your every move because if THEIR scanners fail, YOU will be charged with theft. It's a nightmare. I'm always left feeling dissatisfied, even if I got everything I needed and for a good price. I gave it 2 stars because the low prices are putting food on the table 😕

So I've been coming to this Walmart ever since my absolutely horrific experience @ the Walmart in Salem on Turner road. This is now the Walmart I shop @, I've shopped here before but now it is definitely my go to for any & every time I need to go to Walmart. The staff there are very nice & extremely helpful. Theyre not rude. NEVER MADE FEEL like I'm some kind of criminal,any time I can't find something they stop everything that they are doing to help me find whatever it is I am looking for. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

I like some of Walmarts items. It is too bad when you finally get an order to go through on their website they can't seem to send the right thing. I have had to send so many things back that I have lost count. There pictures and descriptions do not match what you order and it is wrong every time!! So frustrating!! Do not get me started on the website which is so slow and never works properly. You would think as big as this company is they could afford to hire better website technicians. To make sure it is quick and accurate.

I was there to get a Lego set and they scanned them for $60. They tried to limit me to one and then went in the back and The GM of the store Jackie and a woman named Bernie Readjusted the home office markdown after telling me the price. You can't tell someone one price and then apply the home office adjustment after telling me a price for an item. Absolute demeaning and unprofessional about it. Not legal to advertise a price and then apply a new price to an item AFTER you advertised it.

Half the time I find what I need. The other half, it says they have it according to their stock count online, but that is so not true.Also, why does it always look like they are waiting for stock to come in?
