Every time I call to check on a prescription they hang up on me they put me on hold and then they hang up on me every time in this place. The waiting time is unreal. I spent 45 minutes in the drive-through the other day they need help. They are either that or the pharmacist is just real slow about talking to people she probably does it on purpose.

Pharmacy lines are horrid. But the tech behind the counter at walgreens was a superstar! She helped customers; filled bins, answered phones, & kept a smile on her face. I was amazed & in awe at how efficient she was. This blonde superstar exhibited professionalism & courtesy & she made a bad experience bearable for me. Thanks & I hope she's at the counter at my next visit.

They had had my prescription sitting in their office since 1 pm the day previous, I had to physically go down there and tell them that I needed that prescription for a serious infection in my eye and come to find out the pharmacist had still yet to review it by 10 am the followibg day. I had to be a total Karen to get my meds to prevent me from losing my eye. They also gave me a hell of a run around while I was on hold for almost two hours being transferred from person to person with no answers. Will never be using them again.

Pharmacist informed me I filled out theScript wrong?!? 1) I’m not the the doctor 2) it was for a toothache 3) they never called me to let me know there was an issue 4) never called the doctors office to correct the issue ….. go to the store since they said after 5pm, wait 45 minutes, drops the “you filled out the script wrong “ , it’s Saturday , dentist office is closed , not open Sunday and now I’m stuck with excruciating tooth pain til Monday morning!!! Absolute zero sympathy , zero professionalism and zero attempt to help….. when asked why didn’t someone called the office with the phone number to correct the script issue was informed, “ not their problem”….. Safeway pharmacy from here on out

I'm done with this location. After years of 45 minute to 1 hour wait times just to talk to someone, I'm all done. Today was the last straw. I called because I needed help with a prescription renewal. The tech told me to ask the question of a pharmacist, and he transferred me. The pharmacist was surprised by the question that apparently could have been handled by the tech. He transferred me back. After 30 minutes on hold, I was cut off. I called back and held for 1 hrs and 20 minutes. Finally, I gave up and drove over. The technician had left while I was on hold. The pharmacy window was closed.

worst pharmacy ever. staff is rude and extremely unhelpful. they are so disorganized there it is unbelievable. had a prescription called in almost a week ago which they noticed me about, but said there was an insurance issue. called my insurance and no issues there. called walgreens back and they said it was now an ordering issue. called them the next day and they said they still haven’t ordered it. i have been calling every day since and they still hadn’t ordered it. called again today and they said they have no record of the prescription, even though they told me last week it was called in. got no answers on the phone to what the actual issue is, and seems like they’ll make anything up just to cover up how disorganized they are. i am fed up.

The regualr part of the store is perfectly fine. A very good place to shop if you are in need of the wide range of things they have to offer. However, their pharmacy leaves a GREAT DEAL TO BE DESIRED! I know that the issue I had was rather unique but it is important enough to mention here with the hope that it might get someone's attention that may actually be able to make a difference. There was another local pharmacy here that closed down. Specifically, the pharmacy within BiMart.Part of the exit strategy of BiMart's pharmacy shutting down was that they effectively dumped the entirety of their database of clients into Walgreen's pharmacy. On the surface, this decision seemed like nice effort of BiMart's behalf to help those of us that would need a new place for us to get our medication. It is important to state that my doctors have been "calling in" my list of medications into BiMart WITHOUT ANY ISSUE AT ALL for almost 10 years.Upon receiving the news that my ongoing list of medications would now be available at Walgreens, when communicating with my doctors, I, along with whomever else had been using BiMart, informed them that our prescriptions would now have to "called in" to Walgreens. The end result of the data transfer from the BiMart pharmacy system into the database of Walgreens produced a record for me with my name, birthdate, soc sec, etc in their system. Then, when my doctors started sending my new prescriptions over to Walgreens, THAT process established a new SECOND RECORD within the Walgreens system as well! And it is HERE that the problems started. I would show up and ask for my prescriptions. On more than one occasion I was informed that they only had half of the prescriptions that I was supposed to pick up. Upon asking over and over during multiple trips back to the pharmacy it FINALLY became apparent that I had 2 seperate accounts within the Walgreens system. The part about all of this is that I have a extremely unique name. That, combined with my birthdate, soc sec, and address should have made what had taken place the bleeding obvious. Employee after employee - then through a variety of managers on different shifts - explaining the situation to ANYONE that I could get to listen behind their counter - one would have thought that a solution for merging the 2 accounts would be in place to resolve such issues. Not So!For 3 months I had to jump through multiple hoops when trying to simply pick up my medications. Sometimes - seemingly randomly - I would be able to enlighten whomever was serving ne at their cash register at the time that was was ACTUALLY THE SAME DAMN PERSON REFLECTED WITHIN BOTH OF THE ACCOUNTS THAT HAD BEEN CREATED FOR ME WITHIN THEIR SYSTEM.On more than one occasion, though, I had to leave the facility as they would only allow me to pick up HALF of the prescriptions that had been sent in! SERIOUSLY!And the real (though very sad) comedy of errors would get consistently worse the further up the managerial chain I would get to "help" - and I am saying "help" because that is the only work I can use there in this attempt to convey this incredibly important (considering my medications) issue. The part of all of this that started to truly leverage me over the edge is that when they had me go tobthese backbofbthe the line a number of times as they would claim that they were attempting to correct the situation even though I could see what every employee was doing the entire time I was there, when they WOULD finally call on me after finally runnung out of other people to help - they would literally refer to "the person" in the second account within this system AS DIFFERENT PERSON and they they could not release "his medications" to me.And this would happen time and time again - even though both had the SAME spellings of my name - the SAME address that I live at - the SAME birthdate - the SAME such sec - and THE SAME DAMN LIST OF DOCTORS THAT WERE CALLING IN THE MEDICATIONS I HAD BEEN PRESCRIBED!!!Truly a total and complete failure at EVER LEVEL on their part!

They were super busy, and the computer system was slow due to use by every pharmacy in the state. But the staff remained thorough, calm and friendly, kind to everyone.

The worst place to get your perscriptions. It took them from 10am to 9pm to fill 2 perscriptions. I called several times and each time I was told to give them 2 hours. They need to just close this pharmacy down.

Pharmacy only. Staff is great. Very helpful, cordial and respectful. The problem is with Walgreens. Not enough staff. Too small pharmacy area. Too many customers for services provided. 2+ hour wait time on phone, 1 hour wait time at drive up and when drive up closed because employees don't show up for work, at least 1 hour wait in line inside. I'm never going back. Will try another pharmacy and, hopefully, won't be as bad.

The slowest service I have ever experienced for prescriptions. It sometimes takes days for them to fill a simply antibiotic prescription. Usually takes 30 to 60 minutes to pick up items if you use the drive thru and about as long if you go inside to pick up. I cannot tell why service is so slow.

I have normally been very happy with the service and products provided but they let me down big time. I made and appointment and went and had a "Two hour" covid test so I could travel internationally. 24 hours later, I still do not have the results (which is the same as one of my co-workers also traveling but using a different Walgreens). So, neither of us got to travel as planned. This appears to be just a weekend issue as two other coworkers got results within 20 minutes during the week. There is some fine print buried in their website that warns about this, but you have to look really hard to find it.

Was told to come back in 30 mins for my pickup. Came back in 40 mins and was told that I needed to come back in another 20-30 mins. Like I get if it's not fully ready but don't waste my time by telling me a time that was so incorrect in the first place. People don't have time to waste doubling back over and over.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. They are extremely slow serving customers. I can understand taking some time to fill a prescription, but generally the wait time just to be seen. Literally any pharmacy will assist you quicker. One saving grace was that the pharmacy assistant was very nice. Still, choose somewhere else if you want your prescription in a timely manner.

Simply the worst place to get a prescription. Automated system does not work. They will lie and tell you prescriptions are ready, only to wait 45 minutes, in a line of 2 people, and they then tell you it's not ready. There are a 5 people in the pharmacy office, why does it take 20 minutes per customer? Customer service is awful on top of this all. They give off a vibe that they don't give a duck. Come back later and wait another 45 minutes while you're in pain. It gives me anxiety when I know I am going to have to refill a prescription, but it is the only drive through prescription refill place in the area. My favorite automated message is, "you may or may not have prescriptions ready for pick up."

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Not only are they slow but they are rude. And they tell me my prescription is full when it is missing 5 pills on the same medication every time. I have brought this to their attention several times and they refuse to fix it. I pull up ask if it's a full prescription because they never have that medication in stock and will fill partially then try to charge me for my $50 copay for the initial pick up and the remainder of the prescription they owe me when I come back 5 days later. They wrote a note that my prescriptions are only ready when they are completely filled and I will no longer take partial perscriptions. They always say yes it's a full prescription and it's always 5 pills short. Yes they fix it right there because I will not drive away otherwise. I'm sick of being asked to pay $50 twice a month for one months worth of pills. It happens every month and when you try to speak to a Manger they hang up on you.

4 hours on hold. I have my prescriptions on auto refill every month they don't have them ordered to fill on time so I get delayed 3 to 4 days. Every month for years.

The staff in the pharmacy has always been great, but I have had to make some phone calls to them recently the prior two I was on hold for over 20 minutes but tonight was the worst on hold for 45 minutes I finally hung up and called through the store and had them transfer me still took another 10 minutes for me to answer the simplest question talked to someone for less then a minute. Like I said the staff has always been great but the hold time is ridiculous would have been faster for me to drive the 20 miles into town and talk to someone. Something needs to change

Worst place customer service pharmacy this store is a joke and the pharmacy will kill you by not getting meds. Or have people to staff to get your meds. Expect an average 1hr wait at anytime of the day my average wait is 1hr 50 min. Ya. Avoid at all costs

Ever since they started doing vaccines, regular service has been awful. Need a prescription filled, hope you like waiting in line for 2 hours, then waiting 5 hours for it to be filled, then waiting in line for 2 hours again. O unless after waiting 7 hours they finally decide to tell you it's not in stock. Then your fked.

So I can deal with usually waiting an hour to pick up my meds whether it be drive-thru or walk in I can deal with that.......... What I can't deal with is needing my life saving prescription and coming in because the windows closed and asking..... Is your pharmacy really closed?..... Only to get a look as if I'm the stupidest person on Earth and well yes it's a holiday!! Really?! YOUR OPEN THT MAKES NOSENSEE! Never ever ever again will I ever visit a Walgreens use a Walgreens and I will make sure everybody knows horrible like literally these are people's lives in their handsEvery other pharmacy in Albany is open right now even though it's holiday. You're holding people's prescriptions hostage because you don't have a pharmacist on staff to work

Every single time I need to refill my prescription, it takes at least 30 minutes just to TELL THEM. Over the phone, it takes upwards of an hour because they never pick up the phone. They also never actually have the medicine ready when I get there to pick it up even if I called the prescription in days ahead. Pathetic service. When you're managing someone's medicine, you need to run a tighter ship. Not having access to their medicine could kill someone.

By far the WORST pharmacy I've ever been to. Seven months of consistently terrible customer service. Nothing is ever ready when they say it is, they rarely answer the phone, and the wait is insanely long.I am currently in line for the second time today as I write this. I called and was told my Rx was ready for pickup. I waited on line the first time for 25 minutes, only to be told that my prescription wasn't even ready. Now I'm at the back of another long line. And it's like this every month. Very frustrating!I'm going to move everything to the Salem Walgreens because I'd rather have to drive up there than deal with this another month.

This is the worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. I order my refills online. They never get filled. They say my Dr. has denied it. Call Dr. and they never received it and have to send the prescription in themselves. Never in stock even though I refill every month. Extremely slow drive thru service.

Slowest and least staffed pharmacy I've ever been to. It's been months and no change. Expect to never really get same day prescriptions. Oh and pharmacist helper likes to comment on your prescriptions when you drop off scripts. Loud enough the people in line can hear. Incompetence sums it up.

Their pharmacy is a joke. Their staff is incompetent and rude. We've been trying to refill a prescription for a week. Doctor has faxed it multiple times and called but they "can't find it". When you tell them to call and you are waiting they tell you that you will be waiting a long time because they aren't going to call. Their customer service has gotten worse over the last 6 months. I work in healthcare and if I treated my patients or staff the way they treat people I wouldn't have a job.

Poor staff were so overwhelmed. The line was insane and there were only 2 people working the pharmacy with hiring posters decorated around the window. When we were getting our info for the vaccine customers were screaming at these workers and they were still very professional towards them. The woman giving us our vaccine was very polite and kind.

The worst pharmacy experience ever. The staff was unorganized and very rude. We waited 30 minutes in line because they were under staffed. Then, they told us 20 min for our prescription and it took 1hr! The lady that was helping us left mid way through. Our prescription was sitting on the floor when the other guy finally found it. We will never have our prescriptions filled at this Walgreens again!
