100% Local and 100% wonderful!! Great variety of treats, food, toys, enrichment toys, chews, collars, tags, and so much more! And has Birthday things like no other! Things for humans too, like magnets and cards and pet related stuff for the household. Owner is super sweet and gave my pup some free treats. I told her he piddles when touched and to ask him to sit, she did exactly that and petted him with no piddling! Very good store, well owned and organized. My puppy loves it there and we'll come back for more treats!

Great place. My dog is very nervous and doesnt like anyone touching her paws. Brought her in to get nails trimmed and they were extreamly patient and we got my dogs nails trimmed. The store also is filled with very nice products and high end foods and treats. Great place to shop for your dog. They even have stickers that say trail dog for my MTB trail dog owners!

The staff here is so kind, and they offer free local delivery! I love coming here to get more unique items, and supporting a small local business!Here is Cuddles enjoying his beef cheek, and sporting his harness! The don't have a huge selection of basics like food dishes, but they make up for that with a wide variety of treats, toys, and other goods!I will definitely be back!

As someone who lives locally I try to spend my money at local businesses, so I can support my community. Unfortunately, I will not be spending any of my money at this pet store. I have had the misfortune of visiting this business twice and both instances have been terrible. The employees/owner are rude and unwelcoming. The customer service is appalling and downright awful.

I visited Petco with my puppy a few days prior to shopping at Sniffany's. Petco was a chaotic experience for my pup and for me. There was no customer service, a poorly conducted training class was underway so dogs were charging down the isles while I attempted to shop. It was nightmarish. I vowed to never go back. THEN, I visited Sniffany's. The space was calm, welcoming and very well organized. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The other patrons were respectful and friendly as well. The products that I came home with were quality and my pup agreed. I'm a loyal customer for life.

I’ve been in here twice now. Just moved to Albany and got my best friend shortly after. He’s an Alaskan malamute. I found this place due to the high star reviews and let me tell ya. Amazing place just like the reviews say. My dog suffers anxiety and is underweight when I got him by almost 20 pounds. The people here are extremely knowledgeable. There was a gentleman the first time and a lady the second time. Both very knowledgeable. The gentleman recommended the dog peanut butter with CBD in it to help with my dogs anxiety. He referred me to a lot of different things to help gain weight until I get him to his check up appointment. I will always be going here for my dogs needs. Recommended to my roommates as well. It’s been 3 days and doing everything I was told, there’s a lot of change in him for the good and I trust this place FULLY! I’d give them more stars if I could.

It's so refreshing to go to a store where the staff is knowledgeable about their products. They've given me helpful suggestions for several of my pet issues. Although they have a huge stock on hand, they will special order for you and call when it has arrived. Great customer experience!

Hands down the best pet store I’ve EVER been to!! My bf and I were visiting from San Francisco and stopped in midway through our trip, then had to stock up before we came back down to the Bay- Sniffany’s prices are awesome, staff are super friendly, and selection is unmatched. Also got our 4mo bullmastiff puppy’s nails trimmed here, and the woman who did it was so sweet and patient and did an excellent job with our wiggly pup! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Great owners and staff who really love dogs and cats and stock the best foods and supplements to keep them healthy and happy! They have the best fresh baked dog treats I have ever seen and my dogs looooove them! Great selection of toys, gear, bedding and so much more. High quality products and food that you cannot find anywhere else locally. They are very helpful and always happy to answer questions about what would be good for your pet. Would highly recommend to any and all dog and cat owners 🐕❤️😺

Great pet boutique! I’m happy they carry my preferred raw food brand for my cat, Smallbatch chicken, and for such a great price! I normally get it for $22.95 and here I think it was $17.95! I will come here from now on for my cat’s food :) They also have a great selection of natural dry food, including the brand Fromm which I get for my cat as well.Also, the employees here are SO nice! The woman working also gave me some samples of other raw cat food to try with my cat. So thoughtful! I’m excited to come here again in the future. Great service, prices, and selection!

There is a shop cat that wanders and is super cute and friendly. The food options are all great and reasonably priced.I'm a customer for life here, I love it!

I can't say enough good things about this shop. The employees are so helpful and friendly. Their selection is top notch and they have a ton of unique, fun finds to look through. They are so sweet with your animals and will get on the floor to play with them and help you try on harnesses. We have a precocious Jack Chi puppy and a seven month coonhound who is as naughty as she is sweet and a trip to Sniffany's is like a visit to their young, fun grandparents. They spoil and love your dogs like they are their own. We are now regulars and will be coming here for all of our future pet needs (that includes the kitties too). Stop in and spoil your pups. You won't regret it!

Sniffany's is really helpful with questions about dog food. I really like supporting this local business as they have our community and dogs as their top priority. I just picked up a couple of bags of Steve's freeze dried raw food. Addy loves the food and it keeps her healthy!

I came in for a nail trim for my pug. She was so patient and kind, my dog isn't easy but she did great! All of their wonderful things in that shop, go check it out!! I had a great conversation with an employee that gave me the most wonderful information to help my dog. They take a very holistic approach with terror care, he is so amazing!

Our newly adopted rescue pup Andy is leading me to discover all kinds of great new places around town...and Sniffany's is one of our absolute favorites! They have all of the healthiest treats and food -- including the frozen raw food mixes I was looking for. They have a wonderful collection of toys and other doggie stuff as well. And...bonus! The awesome people that work here know their stuff and are tremendously helpful with all the questions I've had since it has been furever ago since I've had a puppers to raise and spoil. Andy loves coming here too...and gives it a hearty woof and a 4-paw rating...the best possible! 🐾🐾

Such a cute pet store. Not as much clothes wise. But lots of food, grooming and toys. I got some cute little doggy beer and wine purchases. Will def b stopping by this establishment more often. Super nice, quality options of food and toys.
