A store like any other store would smell like Dollar Tree. Not that I am learned in and around and about,prolonged liver activity... So be it..the throngs ring out with each passing day. Oh, Romeo. Such are the kindly and sporadic joys found at this place of worship, commerce. Yeah, that's the ticket. Nice people working hard so that you don't have to.

Inventory was pretty limited for quite some time, but I've noticed that shelves are starting to become well stocked now. The store is organized, and it is generally clean. The prices of their products above the $1.25 items are higher than traditional grocery stores for most items. The Dollar Tree name should be renamed to match their prices as everything costs more than a $1 now.The one thing I noticed when shopping today was the impressive number of balloons around the store. However, this is highly overwhelming when walking through several ribbons hanging from the balloons. I had to back up and walk the other way since it was just too much. This was a terrible idea, and I'm not the only one who had an unpleasant experience with it.The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I have witnessed how management treats some of their employees. I'm sure that it is difficult for some of them to work there. This is probably why they appear to have a high turnover rate. Having a management position does not mean that it is okay to treat their staff so poorly or not assist them when they need it.

The store was an absolute mess I had to sit on the floor & dig through a pile of stuff just to try & find the 1 thing I was looking for. Never found it I gave up, the store looked like it was in desperate need of stocking there was hardly anything on the shelves what was on the shelves wasn't in where the place it needed to be. This store has such a bad supply of stuff. Never have enough help. I drive to Lebanon and the store is organized, clean and have lots of staff. It’s worth the drive to get what you want, I don’t understand why Lebanon has the basic stuff you need but Albany doesn’t and it’s like that every time you go in there. Will be going to Lebanon store from now on. I hear lots of people say they prefer the Lebanon store over Albany.

The store is usually clean and stocked. Both staff are friendly. One thing I have concerned for is not all the employees are teammates. I watched an employee keep looking at a long line and kept putting wrapping paper away instead of opening another check stand and letting his teammate struggle with 10 people in line. That's not cool and I really want to call the manager and get that straightened out

I watched a manager repeatedly belittle a checker in front of numerous customers. I have never witnessed, to this extreme, in my life. It was appalling and unprofessional. He should be removed. Beware of you're thinking about everything working there

I think you mean the 1.25$ tree. It’s fine. It’s what you would expect from a dollar store. You find brands that you’ve never heard of before. Soda comes in sizes contrary to typical grocery standards, but you find some decent deals depending on what need.

When I got to the counter to check out there were 14 people in line! Yes 14! The cashier was working her hardest asked for backup help from the manager. The manager wandered around as the 13 people in front of me ALL went through the SAME register. He never got to open a register! Said he was looking for his keys!?!?I went in to purchase some craft items, and that section was in such disarray that I could only find a few items that I needed. Very sad at the management laxidasical approach to running a business!

I was in the Albany Dollar Tree late one night last week. I noticed a lady working very hard mopping the floors. She told me she didn't have to do this but she liked the floor clean when she was working. Her name is Shilo and she is a great employee, who actually cares about her work place. She was going above and beyond what was expected of her. Thank you Shilo for working hard and having great work ethics!

I have yet to go into this store and not hear an employee cuss or talk inappropriately in their position. Yesterday 3/2/23 had the “manager” Shilo refuse customers after standing in her line for five minutes then taking customers but not knew next in line. Said she was a manager today not a head cashier. She’s nothing with that work ethic and attitude.l, trash! The way she talked to her “friend” was not acceptable for her job! This place has never been okay. Save your time and drive to Corvallis!! Corvallis respects their customers, clean store and so so much better than Albany ever will be. Albany need to get a better manager and crew!!! Corporate is just as worthless. I’ll save money.

Worse customer service ever!!!Bought some items for a bridal shower. Specifically asked the manager Brian Pesh if items were returnable if my bride did not approve of the items, the manager verbally told me that yes, if the items were not sufficient could return them . So before I Even purchased the items I repeated it back to him and he confirmed. I spent over 200 dollars and I had a few items that were not sufficient. I then called to confirm that i could return such items So I went back less than an hour after the purchase to return the items that did not work and brian blatantly told me that they had a no return policy and he could not do as he said both in the store and on the phone before I left my house. I drove over an hour there and back twice with 200.00 worth of items and he refused to honor what he said he would TWICE.I'm very unsatisfied and very upset that he would lie just to get money from me.Never going to that store again!

Had the few items on my list plus fun, seasonal items. Pleasant cashier and store was tidy. Pharmaceutical aisle had many empty racks...5/22/23 update TONS of grad balloons and decorations plus some fun beach outdoor decor.

The service here with the 2 ladies was great. Courteous staff makes for pleasant shopping wherever you go.👍 Oh... The checker lady even double bagged my stuff ( everybody knows their paper bags suck so..)

The overall quality of products is definitely not great, but I do often get surprised at what they have sometimes. Even if it is poor in quality & small in quantity. One thing I will say is its a bit disappointing how unorganized the store is, I've been to other dollar stores that are so clean & everything is in its place. So I guess I wish that was the standard for this one as well.UPDATE: most of their prices have changed to $1.25 but I read (& saw for myself) that they are going to be regularly getting new inventory from now on. Also (assuming because of the changes) the store is MUCH more organized & cleaner. I think they could've done a much deeper & thorough pass of the store, but its better by far!

this store used to be really clean and stocked. now you can never find anything empty shelves everywhere merchandise is all over the place and on the floor and just strewn everywhere! what happened to having pride in where you work!

The local dollar tree is always a hit and miss. Some employees are great and helpful and others remind you that this is just Dollar tree. The usual stink eye from the older generation like everyone is a thief and the young generation of employees that hate life so they just don't care. Still you find one upbeat person who usually had something to do with decorations and is fighting for good vibes.

I was in the Albany store a few days before Christmas this year, 2016, and Scott helped me. This gentleman was a delight. He commented on the fact that I looked familiar, I explained he had helped me when he was working in the Lebanon store. He shook my hand and said it was a pleasure to help me that evening. He sincerely wished me a happy holiday. I was so pleased with the service that I would absolutely recommend him as your cashier as he was delightful. Good choice on him as an employee! He is definitely an asset.

Always has what I need obviously at a cheap price but one employee made my visit today very irritating. After waiting about five minutes for him to get to the check stand (matt I believe was his name) was very off putting when my fiancé was having troubles with the card and made him feel very stupid so to say. For someone who works in customer service i can definitely say he did not have a positive attitude towards us. Ive never had an issue with this store or the employees but this visit was very upsetting.

Well the dollar 25 tree only had one cashier and 5 or 6 people.in line while the other employee ignored it and just put candy bars on the shelf .........other than that it was clean and I spent too much lol I'm dollar store rich 😉🤣

First there was one cashier with the light on while it was busy. The woman at the next register told me she was closed. Went back to the long line. While the one who told me she was closed turned her light back on and helped multiple customers while I was waiting. The woman at my register was obviously tweeking. I waited and waited. The lady at the second register closed down and came over to the first one. Still not offering up help me despite the eye contact. Tweeking cashier couldn't blow up the balloon. I had enough. Left everything on the belt, grabbed my youngest and left the store. I could not believe the shoddy service.

Shelves nice and neat. Stocked. Nice location and big space. One entry for enter and another for exiting. Reminders over the intercom to keep social distancing and masks. Best one I've been too and I live in Salem.
