Good place for larger families to get groceries, especially when organic produce is a priority. They also have a solid meat selection with free range and organic meat and eggs. Gluten free options too! Not to mention the home goods and clothing choices.

I love Costco. The prices are great, but more importantly they typically have the best value. Meaning, you can often get a higher quality item for the same price you might find at other stores. Sometimes the packages are large so it helps to have a freezer or vacuum sealer at home. The workers are excellent and more helpful than many other stores. It can get busy so try to find off times to do your major shopping.

Long time loyal customer. Food court has delicious and affordable food. Staff are friendly and hard working. Plenty of good sales. I like the rotating clothes options, but if you shop there exclusively for clothes, you will look like a generic midlife crisis manager.

Costco is always awesome. I love Costco and this one has amazing local items and amazing prices. Totally worth the membership and the staff are always friendly and helpful when you need to find something or need help grabbing something. So glad there is one near by

It was a surprising quick trip in and out. Was able to get a few things before heading home. Go thru the self checkout and off I went. Still extremely hard not to load up a cart full.

food court staff rocks! I went to get a hotdog after spending $200 in a sample haze and wanted to try a cookie. 100% went to grab it dropped it straight on the ground, mentally accepted i wasn't having a cookie and while picking up my shattered hopes/cookie to trash, the girl at the counter offer me another one. I was the idiot but still enjoyed my cookie.

Maria and Karen in the Hearing department were very pleasant. Super helpful made my whole day. Thank you very much when it’s time for a new pair of hearing aids. This is where I will be coming for sure.

I dig Costco. $5 a month is no big deal and you can get unique stuff there. A fun shopping experience.

I love Costco...I call it the $100 store because I can't seem to get out spending any less than that. I appreciate that they don't have to the pressure of retail by making their employees ridiculous hours and holidays. I love the selection and seasonal items. Their buyers do a great job.

Costco rocks! If you have a big family or just really like buying things in larger portions. Or maybe even just like good deals Costco is where it’s at. They have the best rotisserie chicken and the best food court for cheap 1.50 hotdogs and pie. Their executive membership is amazing. If you just went with the basic $60 a year membership and they notice you do a lot more shopping and could benefit from the exclusive membership. They will tell you that you could get money back. It’s amazing. Basically if you shop there enough you can get enough money back to pay for the membership itself, or even more then that. And if you don’t shop enough. Costco will reimburse you for the membership price. What a business. They are always helpful and really nice workers there. Samples are a great way to allow people to try before you buy. Not sure why other stores haven’t taken on to any of these ideas. Costco does it right.

I'm always impressed at how clean and organized the Albany Costco is. Even during high traffic times, their clothing tables are neat and folded. Makes a big difference in ease of shopping.

The paying to spend money experience is what you get here. Like most costcos, though extremely large in size, it is also over packed with customers. There is a good variety of things you would expect to be there and usually more. The parking lot is frustrating to no end. Even if you park in the furthest out lot, you still have a weirdly unusual time getting out of the lot.

It's just a headache only cause it's always busy! Self check out kinda sucks can't use master card or cash, which sometimes that's all you got and face it who wants to go through a busy store all the while to not have a card other than master or you have cash, but not excepted! Ugh not me! Frustrating to do all that to have to ditch your whole kart! Thanks, but no thanks!

I'm not sure if I just came at the perfect time but there was no wait for checking out. In fact a couple of checkers were standing, waiting for shoppers. Nice and clean. Best Costco I've been to in a long time. They recently added a couple rows of self serve check stands too.

Holiday season - the store was very picked over. Items moved with no indication of where they went. I spent 10 minutes looking for sliced cheese. It was like bumper car in both the store and parking lot.

So I love Costco and all the people that work there. But there was just an incident that I’m hoping to make them aware of. I would call but I’m so embarrassed. I went to their gas station for the first time and mind you I’ve lived in Albany and never had to pump my own gas before. Well I asked for 40 regular and she says “just so you know I can’t enter set amounts anymore” I was like “ugh” then she raised her voice and said “ you need to get out of your car and squeeze the handle because I have an entire island to run”. Putting aside her tone and the rudeness in which I was spoke to I got out of my car to do as she asked assuming I grab the handle and squeeze and it would click. It get to 40 and I’m squeezing but it’s not budging and she’s yelling at me “ you need to squeeze it” which is what I was doing. All the way to 53 dollars and no one helped me. A gentleman from the car behind me said “squeeze just the top part”. Then it finally clicked. All I’m saying is if I’m going to the attended side I’m assuming I’d get attended but that didn’t happen. Instead I embarrassed myself because I was never shown how to operate those thing ( which is my fault ) but I should have had someone show me the handle and how it operated before walking away. And I definitely shouldn’t have been yelled at or talked to like I was stupid. I wasn’t being rude I was being polite and trying to do what was asked of me. But I didn’t receive that in return and that kinda made me cry.
