Big Lots was once a place to score amazing bargains. It doesn't offer anything more than other stores now, and their stock has become limited. I still like to browse Big Lots every now and then to see if there is anything I could use. It is generally clean, and most of the employee's seem friendly. Big Lots is no longer my usual go-to department store, but it is okay for some items. I'd rate this location a 3.5 if it were possible.

No longer the same as it used to be. The prices are pretty much the same as all of the other stores. Not much savings to be had. The store is huge, but the variety is really lacking. The only customer service interaction was upon leaving the store!

They really need more people on the floor. I know hiring is tough as well as the cost. But it's essential to keeping customers.

Robert, my cashier, treated me like the biggest inconvenience to ever walk into a store and ask to remove something after it being scanned. Then, when I wanted to join the rewards program, you would’ve thought I just killed a puppy in front of him. Great customer service. 😂

Like this store but it's not what it use to be. No longer carry baby items and the toys are down to 1 isle. It is great for seasonal items and decor.

The employees are usually very friendly and doing their best to help customers and make sure their needs are met.Gordon, bless this man. Always makes people laugh and smile. He's been there a long time and is always someone to say hello to.Ann, has the friendliest service I have seen in any customer service employee I've met. She goes above and beyond at her job and is always making the customers needs priority 1.Rosie, she knows where everything is and is so friendly. Genuinely cares about doing a good job and helping customers.Connor, debatably the hardest working guy I've met his age. Always friendly with customers and is respectful to everyone and handles every situation with care.Sometimes they have what I need. Okay prices. Furniture isnt very nice quality most the time. Had the same recliner replaced twice with the same defect in all of them.The building is ADA accessible and has plenty of parking.

Super friendly staff and some good deals on stuff. Dont sleep on big lots.. Not sure why they are easy to forget about but they have good things in there. Go see. I got some sweet beach towels for like 7 bucks.. they have neat snack in there too. Plus they do rewards a d big furniture pieces.. this is your reminder to go there and not just to kill time on Black Friday.

Was in there today, they had 4 employees at registers. One ringing a lady up the rest basically preoccupied with each other. The line gets longer and longer but they are oblivious. Of course the one cashier that actually was doing customer service had to sign her customer up for coupons while the rest of us waited. They did finally, after the line was out to the middle of the store open up another register, so they get one star for that. You might save a few cents on something since it's a lower end discount place but if your time is worth anything, this is a store to avoid.

I like having Big Lots local. Sometimes you can just find that little knick knack or that one little item that you can't find anywhere else. The store could be kept cleaner. The front end clerks have always been sweet and sociable and polite.

I am beyond irritated with the Albany store at this point. I don't know what I have to do to give them my money, it's like they do not even want it. I have been trying to buy a bed set, mattress, foundation, frame, headboard and everything.I have tried to spend upwards of $1500 at a time there, and there is always something that goes wrong. Either nothing is in stock and is weeks out before I can get it, or like today, EVERY SINGLE bed there is missing pieces and is not complete.Yes, you read that right. I wanted to buy a bed set, and EVERY bed set they had in the back apparently was missing parts. What a joke that a store like this can be ran so poorly, this after days of them telling me that pretty much everything I was trying to buy was also not in stock.People can blame whatever they want on the decline of retail stores, but this kind of disorganization and inept business skills are why people just shop on Amazon instead.Wait up to 10 weeks to get what I want at a retail store, or wait MAYBE 3 days to get higher quality and cheaper alternatives on Amazon? You can probably guess the route I am going.

Great experience at Big Lots in Albany. My wife and I have been looking for a new table. We had searched high and low, but all the ones we found were too small or overpriced. Big Lots had the perfect table at an amazing price. Eric helped us and he was fantastic. We will definitely return to Big Lots in Albany.

I went in to return a Bluetooth speaker that my man had purchased. The cashier asked me to bare with her, as she was overwhelmed, and trying to assist another customer. I told her I wanted to do a little shopping anyway, could she hold the speaker and receipt until I was ready to check out! I ended up being paged to the front of the store, by my ride.. she was ready to go, so I had to check out right then.. there was a completely different cashier working at that register.. but somehow, she knew the speaker on the counter was mine, and happily did the return for me! I was very pleased with the customer service at Big Lots today!!

A good place to pick up Christmas decorations. Their stuff seems to be a little better quality than WalMart, also costs a little more. But the selection is good and you can order from the website and pickup in store.

This place needs to get it together. We ordered a couch 8 weeks later nothing.. we called. No manager called us back. We called again the lady that sold us the couch took our call gave us some excuse. Called the factory.. they say they NEVER received our order!.Seth worked stuff out with us and has been a great help. But since they just want to hold our money and not actually sell us a couch.. they have.. we went elsewhere. Local... is the way to go. Looking for a couch go to backledge in corvallis.Affordable...and available!!!Hope this helps someone!

Big Lots, with BIG prices!C'mon, we ALL know the stuff you carry is either seconds, discontinued, about to expire or fell off a truck.And, we're no going to hunt thru our email for coupons, just put them in our rewards card so the come up at checkout and make customers happy.Customer service never goes out of style... Don't make us hunt. Look out for our best interests and we're more apt to return.

Their computer systems are super dysfunctional, and when this results in an issue, they offer zero customer service.I signed up for rewards on 11/8, got an email for a Welcome15 %-off coupon. Went back to use the coupon on 11/11, clicked "Claim It" and it gave me an error message with no coupon. So I spent $228, should have been able to use my 15% off, and was unable to because of some sort of error in their rewards system. Now this morning I have received another Welcome15 email, and when I click it, I do get a coupon barcode that can be scanned.I sent the above paragraph through their contact form and got an error message "Forbidden Request." So I talked to someone over chat, and they said the transaction was already processed so I can't do a return and re-process the transaction.Garbage business practices, will not return.

Decent store for albany. Has decent prices on stuff as well. Although when we went in we were never greeted by any employee or asked if we could be helped. But Its all good since its a smaller store and really easy to find things on your own.

Great storage bin selection, ALL the pillows, nice looking furniture, very snazzy outdoor gazebos and outdoor furniture. Really appreciated the freeze dried fruit and cereal selection. My daughter was ecstatic over the stroopwafels. :D We found exactly the curtains we needed, and stocked up on batteries!

The Albany store is awesome. They were willing to hold a pool for me so that I could drive from Eugene to Albany after work today. I am so grateful thank you Big Lots. And the people there are so nice!

Every time I've been there the service has been fantastic! They always have good deals going. We bought a Christmas tree there and lots of other stuff. I'll always go back....
