We picked up a stray puppy from a young lady and went straight to the Wewoka Animal Hospital to set up an appt for him. To our amazement, they took us right in as a walk in. We were there for a little over an hr but they took great care of our new puppy and sent us on our way. Thank you Wewoka Animal Hospital for taking care of our fur babies. Kathy F.

Absolutely a wonderful clinic to take your animals to. I have 4 registered Rottweilers and 3 horses and all my loved animals go here. They are very thorough and genuinely care about your pets. They take excellent care of my fur babies and I trust them 100%. Jared takes care of my dogs and Alex cares for my horses. Love these guys. I highly recommend this clinic 👌

This was our first time using Wewoka Animal Hospital. The staff was courteous and professional.Took Mr. T back to see vet. Dr and Technician did testing and treatment. He's feeling better now. Thanks for your help.

My family has been using this facility since I was a young kid back when Walker was the veterinarian and he owned the clinic. They are amazing they're so good with it any animal I've never had an issue with them. They actually listen to the customer about their concerns with their pets they treat them like family just like you do.

I have a special needs kitty and they have always gone above and beyond In providing care and information on his condition. I've had a few emergency situations and they have always made sure to make sure my boy got exactly what he needed. So thankful for everyone on this staff.Very good vet. There is usually a lengthy wait time. But I attribute that to the level of care that these animals are receiving. I've sat in the lobby and heard many peoples story of coming from over an hour away just to see this Dr. Very good care.

They are kind and compassionate. They let you know how much something will be before you do it. I was expecting to walk out of there having to pay $400, but it was less than half that! I will never go to another vet as long as I live! Thank you wewoka animal hospital!

I took my dog to the vet on a friday and my vet said she had pyometra, a life threatening diagnosis. She needed surgery asap, and the surgeon wasnt in the clinic that day. She gave me a list of vets that she recommended. I called from that list till i found someone who could do my dogs surgery. Wewoka said they could do it for her. I showed him a picture of her urine that had a huge blot of blood in it and explained her symptoms. He made a smirky comment about where my dogs regular clinic was from. He did and ultrasound and said he didnt see anything. I swear that ultra sound was done in a minute or less. I didnt question it because not my profession but wondered how he could see anything in a minute or less. He said he didnt see anything, and ran blood work. Her pancreas was inflamed and diabetic. He wasnt sure if she was diabetic because her pancreas was so inflamed or if the pancreas was inflamed causing the blood work to show she was diabetic. And he suggested keeping her through the weekend on fluids and antibiotic. I asked, what about the blood in her urine. He said, oh yes, there is that, lets see how she does though the weekend and we will see how she is on monday. I regretfully left my baby girl there, and she passed that saturday.I wouldnt have even taken my dog there had he not said he would do the surgery. I wont take any of my future dogs there and I will forever share my baby girls story of how she passed in this clinic.I felt very dismissed about my dogs situation, even though he said her symptoms were of pyometra, again, a life threatening situation. If you didnt want to do the surgery then dont, I wouldve taken her where she wouldve had a chance.I will say they were remorseful of the loss of my girl, and even gave me a discount. But that wont bring my girl back and I have to find peace with that.I mentioned to a coworker what happened and he said thats where he took his dog last year who also passed away. Im not sure why or how, but do know it was his dog and her two puppies that passed under his care.Edit: To the response from the clinics response of my review (since there is no way to respond). I hope you guys address the issue and that others don’t have the same experience. And for anyone reading this review, they didn’t address the issue that he said he would. The way he spoke to me at the vet was very appalling, I’m not the first negative feedback from this guy which tells me he is allowed to treat others pets the same as mine. I just don’t know how this guy works on animals at all little a line public. .Just in case anyone needs a great animal hospital to take their pet, the emergency clinic in Norman is great. They took care of my daughters dog in a true emergency. I wish I had known about them when my girl needed the help. She would have survived. The weewoka did my Calli wrong, she didn’t deserve to die in a kennel alone.

So I went in there with a cat and 2 dogs 1 being dog aggressive and they helped me with my needs professionally and hygienically, my cat got neutered and vaccines and a microchip and both my dogs got vaccines and microchips and I love how the techs talked to me and understood me and my needs and the vets care for my pets as well. Not to mention the sweet girls at the front desk handling my crew and being so cheery!!

My Henry got back to see the doctor pretty quickly but it did take some time checking out. Waiting for meds so I could pay. All in all I love this vet office. Very friendly staff assistance and doctors

This clinic makes you feel part of the community a family even. They have taken care of my fur family for years and treat them with the utmost kindness. I can see why so many people travel out of state even to go see them. Fair pricing and genuine kindness can't be beat.

Smith is my old (13YO+) black, Cocker Spaniel. He has developed cancer in his later years, that was late in diagnosis.Every person associated with any visit, has been exceptionally kind, caring, & professional. We have chosen Wewoka Animal Hospital to assist Smith in crossing the rainbow bridge. I have the utmost faith & confidence that during this extremely difficult time the level of care & concern will only escalate.I highly recommend WAH for anyone that has standard animal care or (as in our case) unexpected emergency care.*August 24, 2023Follow up, edit to add.We have recently added (rather unexpectedly I might add 🤦‍♀️) Charles (8 month old blue heeler) to our menagerie of animals. WAH worked us in to see Charles the very 1st day of our return home, in addition to working us into a surgical procedure for neuter on that same day.Again. WAH is HIGHLY recommended by the O'Dell clan.Edit to add:*April 16th 2023We recently had to take Evie our 4 YO Blue Heeler Border Collie mix because she was limping. Doctor Neddinger (sp?) was AMAZINGLY kind, gentle, always gets down in the floor with her to ease her stress. We unfortunately discovered she has a torn ACL. 😭 Doctor discussed reasonable (monetary & practical medicine) treatment options, in addition to possible surgical options, with kindness & grace. I absolutely love this vet clinic.

I live in OKC. But the doctor's and staff at WAH are on point with my cats needs. I get better care for them at affordable prices. It's worth the drive. It's the best place to go for my fur babies. Dr. Coffey diagnoses the problem and my babies start improving immediately. I've been to several other vet's, but WAH is by far the best care and affordable.

Worst place ever! MOST GOOD COMMENT IN HERE ARE FROM DR STRICKLAND WAS THERE!!! Read!! It used to be very good when Dr Strickland was there. Now is just another cooperative big company that bought it, Very becareful you dog will be killed!! After a bad c-section my dog got very sick (using dirty tools!) I had to take to other place to save her live. I thought that could be bad luck. But then they kill my chihuahua of 6 years! I really hope this place ends in hell!! This place use to be full of people, people use to drive from other state and wait for 2-3 h at the front door. Not only because dr Strickland was a good person, he will save your dog not matter what!! now is only a nasty place they just care about the bill. Most people stop going ad I’m not the only one lost dog because them. Be careful is you love you dog there is others place very close for same price that will care!!

I do Recommend Them. But I do want to address something. The lady that did the ultrasound. I don't know if she was training someone or not. But she was just so rushed and in a hurry. I didn't even get to think to take pictures or anything. And this is Emma's first pregnancy. I just think that she needs to spend more time with people.

I highly recommend Wewoka Animal hospital. Finding an exotic vet isnt easy but Dr. Eli (hes here and at shawnee animal hospital) is great! The staff here were great too! We brought in our prairie dog and even though we didnt get great news, it was quick and we were given time to process it and make a decision. All of our concerns were heard and all of our questions were answered. It also was fair priced. I hope our treatment works but i will continue using this vet if needed in the future.

Delivered one healthy singleton frug puppy. Service was wonderful. Staff and Doctor made us feel at ease with my daughter's dog. My daughter learned so much from this experience and breeding dogs is a helpful tool with my depression. I get real joy helping my kids ambitions. Thanks for helping teach my daughter an important life lesson today. We will treasure this memory. Look at this baby, though? Isn't she perfect? She is reserved. I would give zero stars if I could but that is not an option. Dr. Coffey in incompetent and does not care one single bit about animals. I trusted him with our sweet Willow and he as more worried about saving her puppies that she was pregnant with rather than saving her. If he would have done one procedure to relieve the air that was trapped under her coat she would still be here today. Instead her told me to take her home and put her in her crate and if she turned blue to call him. The next morning at around 3 am we had to hold her and watch ash she suffocated and died. If you love your pet at all I would 100% recommend not taking your animal to Dr. Coffey. This was my girl the night before she died so full of air she could barely move.

On 10/19/23 my French bulldog was in labor and I called several vets to try and get her in for a c-section, and everyone said they could not see her. I called Wewoka animal hosp, and they said yes bring her in. I was more then satisfied with all the staff and quality of care my dog and I received. I just moved into the area & found this wonderful, friendly, helpful, & caring Vet Hospital, a vet that really does put your pets health first. Their prices are also very affordable, my new baby was feeling a little under the weather and I took him in & it was a few days before I got my money from SSI & they still took care of my baby & just let me pay what I could at the time & pay the rest when I got my money. Thank you to everyone at Wewoka animal hospital, Dr Strickland did a great job cropping my boy "Migo's" ears, these pictures are him at 15 weeks old, they've been taking care of Migo since he was 8 weeks old.
