This is our town's family mart and for those that can't get out of town too often this may be their only choice. When I went in the place looked pretty clean and organized. I could tell they were starting to getting out the outdoor summer merchandise and the Valentine items were almost sold out. I asked for a key to the restroom and was handed a key holder as long as a broomstick. lol, it'd be hard to lose that thing (I had to grab a quick pic of it). The women's restroom was out of order so I had to use the Men's bathroom. It needed a major cleaning on the toilet and sink. It was also a little funny having to pick up the huge sticky soap bottle to try and put some in your other hand. My favorite part was seeing my son at the cash register checking people out. He's always smiling and greeting everyone that enters, some locals by name. It would be nice in the evenings if someone would open up another register if there's a line, I know they do during the day shift

This store was just remodeled and it looks like it has been looted. Come on employees and residents of Watonga. Take some pride in your city, stop living like you are scavengers or third world citizens. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves

Cashier was upset she had to come to the register. There was a lady that was there before me upset about waiting for some assistance checking out. After I checked the total of my purchase I informed her that she over charged me for an item she insisted that I had to pay for it and then she would refund me. I told her I didn't want the item then. She then said there's nothing she could do about it and that I HAD to buy it in a rude manner. She grabbed her face and made some frustrated noises a and told me again that I had to pay for it and get a refund because she couldn't void it. I told her I wasn't paying for something I didn't want. So she snapped back that there wasn't anything she could do so I left. More training is definitely needed for the employees at that store

This store could have so much potential. There aren't many options in our town, but the service here is terrible. The isles are very cluttered, and the lines are always long. They need more help, but only have 2 employees working at a time most days. The temperature is very uncomfortable, usually hot as you impatiently wait in lines.

I know with the 'Rona stuff going on, it's hard to keep things in stock- so the main thing this place is riding on is their customer service. I'd say about 5 of the 7-ish employees (of whom I've encountered) have been superior in customer service.

This store is always so messy and cluttered. They take no pride in their work. Went in for a phone today and after waiting the guy finally looked for the key for a minute then went back to checking like we didn't exist. Its unacceptable to leave customers waiting for a long time because you don't want to take 30 seconds to get a key. I guess you lost our business, we will NOT be returning.

Store always in a shambles and disarray. Went in this morning and encountered a woman working, asked where something was at, the lady was quite abrasive and short. Almost like it was an inconvenience to be bothered by a customer. Lots of empty shelves no matter what day of the week it is. Being in a small town, this is the only option for some kind of store. Always hate to go in here. Wasn’t wearing a name tag, which I know is DG policy.

Always one register open, cluttered aisles, workers just standing around. When asked to open another register they always have an excuse not to with lines of people waiting to check out from the front of store to the middle of the store.

Kudos to Watonga's Dollar General. I love this store!!! The a.m. manager is always swamped, however, he still makes time to greet me and other customers coming and going with a smile. He has never hesitated to stop what he is doing to say "hi". Nor has he ever rolled his eyes or have a face of disgust when he has to drop everything he is doing to come help anyone locate something. I appreciate going into this store and seeing familiar faces behind the counter...all greeting me with a smile and trust me, I'm not the easiest person to deal with. The a.m. manager has got a great team right now, a good fit. The employees I'm speaking of seem to enjoy their jobs. I'm sure if DG corporate would get the a/c fixed, that would be the icing on the cake for all involved. The employees deserve it and us Watonga Dollar General Store paying customers sure would appreciate it, too.Thank you Watonga Dollar General. You are much appreciated. Keep up the great job!!!

That store is a wreck. Never clean, always waiting in a long line at the register can hardley walk down the ile's at times cause their packed with merch. that doesn't get put on the shelves. we deserve better!!

It's a nice little store they have good sales and th bathroom is pretty clean the employees are nice and helpful but they do need some more cashier's. But overall it's a good Dollar General for a small town

Great place to shop. Shelves are usually well stock and store is organized and clean. The manager and all employees are very nice, helpful and friendly.

The store has been poorly stocked and cluttered every time I've been there, but I keep going back due to a lack of options in the area. Among the things I need and expect to find at a Dollar General, I find about 70% to 80% of what I'm after.

Sometimes you go in and wait in line for far to long with only one register, and sometimes you get in and get out with multiple registers. But their employees are very helpful and nice.

Your manager E. J. is very rude. She yelled at me regarding a digital coupon. When I ask her to stop yelling at me she said and I quote " you want to hear me yell, come back on truck day" I stood there looking at her in shock as she walked away and ignored me. I then yelled out loud, LORD JESUS HELP THIS ANGRY LADY. AMEN.

ALWAYS cluttered with boxes in the aisles waiting to be put on shelves. Floors are dirty. Never see more than 2 employees working and usually only one will check. The lines are always outrageously long.
