Went here with my Uncle while visiting them in Temple, OK and it was so nice to see a business with friendly people that add a personality to the interaction with customers. Being from the eastern side of the country, we don’t always get that! I am finding that to be a local phenomenon due to the proximity to DC and Baltimore!The store has most anything you may want regarding basic grocery needs. They may not have a lot of high end items but they have all of the basics.As previously stated, the staff was friendly and although we didn’t ask for help, I felt they would be extremely helpful!I would highly recommend this store for grocery needs when in the area!If you find my reviews useful, please like by clicking on the thumbs up icon labeled “helpful” at the bottom. Walters Hometown Grocery is such a wonderful place to grocery shop. All the employees are so polite & courteous. They greet you when you come in, are helpful when you ask them something & always tell you "Thank you! & Have a nice day!" when they carry your groceries out.

I broke my ankle and had no ability to walk around and shop during the Christmas holiday. I called the store and quickly explained my situation. AMAZING customer service!! Without having to ask, employees did my shopping for me. They brought my groceries out to me, and were sooo caring and sympathetic. 5 full stars Walter's Hometown Grocery Store!! Thank you so much.

Its not a Walmart so it's not the cheapest place to shop but they typically always have good stock. Better than the competing DG in town anyways. Everyone that works there is always friendly.

The crew is exceptional in every way. Courteous, ready to help customers, particularly those who have passed their prime, and the shelves are always well stocked with a good selection of fresh food. And my Lizzie enjoys crew member visits as well.

It is a Hometown Grocery. They have everything any other supermarket would have. The customer service is exceptional and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. They even had a bag boy walk out to the car and help with the groceries. The prices may be higher but the convenience and customer service make up for it.

Just moved here...that Groceries layout would put the big box-chains to share. Product displays close to perfect..Note:the only way they could be perfect..if no body shopped there. Mgt. Also "10"...Staff...a 9.99...( if it was a 10..they'd be running the place ! ).

Shelves are always clean and front faced, great meat market and best prices on fresh sliced deli meat and cheeses around, great fresh fruit and vegetable selection and super friendly staff!

Convenience is key here. Being able to shop local is important. The family atmosphere is felt as soon as you walk in. Yet for the convenience, the prices are higher here than some items.

Rude customer service. Called manager 3 times never showed up. Can't find anything that is on sale and don't ask the cashiers they don't know anything.

We were passing through and stopped at a friends house for the night. We ended up going to the store in town. I found my favorite koolaid we no longer carry where I live. I bought 70 packets of green koolaid. I felt bad for the cashier cause she had to ring them all up separately.

These people were very understanding and let me wait until i got back in town ( i live in randlett) for a sack of bread and a. Carton of eggs that i acidently walked out of the store with while waiting on another person too pay for them i would recomend this place to anyone they ate very nice and good home town people i found there prices very competitive and they were fresh eggs and bread

Good little Hometown Store got most of everything Walmart does of course it's a little bit more but you don't have to travel 40 miles to get what you need from Walmart

Nice grocery store for a small town. Has a decent selection of general goods but the real deal is in the back with the fresh meats and the butcher.
