I'm from Kansas and everytime I go to Vian Its a MUST to visit Miss Emma and her shop!! She, by far has the best selection of dishes and literally a whole house full.!! She has good prices and she is so willing to share her knowledge of the dishware and educate you. I love her southern hospitality and she is a gem!! This time she was able to help me fullfill a set of peach luster dinnerware for my 16 year old granddaughter who loves these old dishes. :) Plus she had a Tiara basket that I had been in search of for years after my daughter who was only 2at the time accidentally broke it. All the dishes was packed soo well and they made the trip back to Kansas with no problems.Thank you Emma for everything !! See you on the next Vian trip!

If you’re a lover of antiques, this is your place! The selection is huge, the prices are right, and the owner is SO helpful and sweet! She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, which was an antique cake plate. She even gave me a little discount because I told her I would be giving it away at a cake auction! So incredibly sweet of her! Do yourself a favor and go check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but there are small treasures to be found within. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and is happy to help you look for anything in specific you might want. Its certainly a worth while venture for anyone looking for glassware, teacups, decorations, or just fun odds and ends. Those looking for furniture or jewelry will probably have better luck elsewhere.

Looked fine from the outside, and "open" signs were visible everywhere from the street, but when we arrived at 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, all the lights were off and a sign on the door indicated the business was closed with no explanation or planned reopening time.
