We’ve always had a good experience - until Saturday. They shaved my bernedoodle and I know they’ll throw the excuse of “we do this when there is severe matting” like they did on other people’s reviews, but no, that’s not the case. And tbh I wonder if it was just laziness to get it done and over with. I’ve taken my pup to other groomers and never have they EVER shaved her, not even when she was a wild pup who played hard with her sister, which caused some matting which was more than what she had Saturday. I know for sure that her face was NOT matted so why in the world they decided to shave a doodle’s face is beyond me. Absolutely embarrassing, and my dog (who usually always loves being groomed) came back to me terrified and has been depressed since she got home Saturday. I really hope this hasn’t ruined grooming for her, because she has always been SO good for every groomer that’s groomed her. I paid before they brought my pup out because I never would’ve imagined they’d do this, and if I had seen her before then I would’ve refused to pay. I could’ve done this hack job myself. They shaved everything but her ears and the top of her head, and now she looks like they gave her a 90s flat top, and she literally looks like if a knock off designer bag were a dog. I’m definitely upset about how ridiculous she looks, but more so how depressed she’s been.

Absolutely, positively the BEST place to board, groom, or train your dog. The staff here is OUTSTANDING! They're professional, kind, loving, understanding, and, most importantly, SKILLED AND TRAINED! We love them, our puppy loves them, you will love them, too!You'd think you'd be spending all of your money here, but their pricing is surprisingly affordable for the talent and attention and facility and resources. 100 STARS!!!!! We had our babies boarded here and they were above and beyond for the five days our fur babies were here. They called us to let us know what was happening, they let us know about our babies if something happened. This is the standard for this type of care and the video to see your little furry friends throughout the day was awesome! Top notch and highly recommend.

Never take you dog here for grooming! My daughter dropped of her beautiful Goldendoodle for a trim and she came back completely shaved. They did not call and tell her there was an issue or ask permission. They refuse to give her money back. The poor puppy is now depressed and sick with diarrhea from the stress. Do not trust these people with your pets!!!

I love this daycare! The hours are great and work well for my wild schedule. My girl loves going and as soon as we get in she walks to the attendants. They pay close attention to the animals and have even had her come indoors to their other play area because they wanted to make sure her ears did not get sunburned.

My rambunctious, newly adopted dog had to stay there for 3 weeks and 3 days because my older dog had emergency spinal surgery and was on bed rest. I went 3 times a week to take her out for a walk and every time, the staff was totally professional, friendly and sympathetic to my situation. I could tell most of them have been there for a while. It seems really professionally run, they have procedures in place for safety and consistency. I really enjoyed being able to watch her play during the day in their humongous outdoor play area on the cameras and I appreciate their long, consistent, open hours, giving me the flexibility to visit when I could. They even have a special care boarding area so when I go out of town in the future I'll be able to bring my post-neck surgery boy who can't wear a collar.

Have been taking our dogs here for over 15 yrs. State of the art facility and care for your pet. The staff here cares for your pet like it was their own. Have gotten to know the owner and much of the staff on a personal level. Will never board our dogs anywhere else. Highly recommend this facility!

My little Melton came back a changed puppy, so happy and relaxed. He loved his weekend here. All he talked about on the 1000-mile ride home. This is truly a resort for animals. They have a coffee bar at reception complete with PUP CUPS!! They have pool pawty's, concerts, and a doggy salon, not just a groomer but a salon where your fur baby can get a cut and color! Amazing and attentive staff, and I feel the prices were very reasonable! It's most definitely a place I would recommend if you have to choose a place for your animals!

2/17/24. What an AMAZING team! I know my Annie Roo is feeling better with having relief from those darn toenails. I just want everyone to know how much we appreciate this office & all the staff. I’m so impressed with today’s visit and even the past 2 visits were awesome as well. However, today I doubted that they would be able to succeed in getting her toenails clipped. Boy WAS I WRONG! Seriously less than 5 minutes they brought Annie back with them all clipped. Wow! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It shows.Annie & I especially want to thank so very much to Cynthia, Dallas, Katie and Dr. Hollingsworth for such professional care, showing the love you all have for our fur babies. You never have to worry about your pet's care here. They have always taken great care of our pup. When she gets home she doesn't seems scared like she has when picking her up at other locations.

Finn loves woodland west! He has been going to daycare for a while now and he is always excited to go. The workers are so friendly and very attentive. They care so much about the dogs. I love how I can check on him through the webcams. I would totally recommend bringing your pet to Woodland West.

We brought our dog in with a gun shot wound to his chest. The vet did X-rays and informed us that the bullet was still inside of him but didn't hit any vital organs. They told us he would be alright and we could take him home with some medicine to help with pain. We brought him home, kept him confined and gave him his meds. He fell asleep and when we checked on him a little while after he had passed. Now, I know they didn't intentionally send him home to die. What I'm concerned with is why they wouldn't keep him for observation or why they wouldnt just say, he may not make it, instead of saying he would be ok then my 8 and 10 year old finding him passed.

My puppy has been going to puppy pre-k here for a couple months now and she loves it! My girl has learned so many great tricks and is able to socialize with other dogs! I’m very thankful for woodland west.

They took great care of our 2 dachshunds, Harley & Rusty, while we were on vacation for a week. Great facility and kind people. So glad we found this place, will definitely trust them with our fur babies again in the future. Highly recommend!!!

Took my dog for the first time yesterday. She did so well there. The groomer did an awesome job. I use to use a moble groomer but my dog like this so much better. She is running around likena puppy again. Thanks Woodland you have a great staff. I will come back again and tell all my doggie friends. Lady says thanks too.

I would not recommend taking your dog here for grooming.I asked them to shave the hair on my beagle paws and they didn't do it. Also my terrier I told them how I wanted her hair done and bows in her ears they didn't do that either. They shaved everything and left her face long.They tried to over charge me for my beagle.

Brittany did an amazing job grooming my Australian shepherd. He has had horrible experiences in the past and has been difficult to find a groomer. She was very understandable and patient with him. Best groomer I have found. Will definitely be going back to see her.

I don't really know what to say about my experience because I am not a dog. The staff is really nice and the doggy daycare price is affordable. My dog will start stalking me in the morning when I am getting ready for work. Walker wants to make sure he does not miss a chance to go. He absolutely loves going and having a full day of running around.

They are truly an amazing business. I wouldn’t trust too leave Sutton anywhere else. They even did a photo shoot for her “gotcha day”. I love the staff, classes, day care, doggy hotel, and vet hospital! Leaving her is never easy but knowing she is in great hands is amazing!

It's a nice, clean place for our pooch to stay while we are away. Just remember to always ask "how much is that" for each thing you add on. That way there's no sticker shock when you return. Hopefully.I asked for our boy to have some one to come play with him each day, ok $5.00/ day on top of the daily fee. And one day of play day (doggy daycare)with the other dogs. Ok $22.00/day plus the daily fee plus the somebody come play $5.00/day fee, ok so just one day of "doggy daycare" for $22.00, I was told first day free, and I said ok, I'll still pay for one other day.Needless to say, I was over charged for the doggy daycare fee, one day turned into every day he was there.When I called the desk person's attention to it, it was taken off immediately. Which I appreciate.Maybe a print out of all the add on's to be made available before I arrive, so I can have a better idea of my options.Bring food, don't bring food.Bring a bed, don't bring a bed.Bring a blanket, don't bring a blanket.Extra loving, or no added loving.Extra breakfast, no extra breakfast....It's like taking a child to day care, anxiety USA!

I cannot recommend this place enough. They are THE best place in town and I will tell that to everyone I know. I had a pretty stressful situation happen with my pup and they helped me out without even thinking twice. Special shoutout to Annie Thompson, she is an ANGEL. She supported and understood my circumstance without any judgement and helped me through it. The stress turned into relief when I knew I had that support from her. They took great care of my border collie Chewy while I was out of town and even gave him three training sessions while I was gone. I'm talking him back there to continue his training. The people are very nice and helpful. I had no qualms leaving my best buddy there for a week once I met the staff. Great operation with reasonable prices!

Hector always has a great time when we board him because of the doggy day care. I love the fact that we can get on the website and check in to see how he's doing and behaving with the video they have in the play room. It heros to ease my mind when I'm far away. The staff is always so sweet. It's a great place to take your pet. We also use their vet services. I don't trust my baby with very many people, but they will put your mind at ease and give the best care possible!
