I have been going here for grooming for about 5 years with great results. The two groomers I had been using left, so I had a different groomer this time, Nicole. I went a few days ago and was so disappointed with the grooming of my 14 year old Pomeranian this time. I had showed them a photo of the previous groom that had been done. In the photo her fur was about 1-1/2" in length and neatly trimmed. When I picked her up she was completely shaved. I was shocked and asked why. I was told that it was close to what I asked for. Really?? I tried to show her the photo again, but didn't get the chance. I have had to shave dogs in the past and it ruined the texture of their coat. Thank goodness my dog isn't a show dog! That was $84 wasted. My dog kept shivering so I had to buy her a sweater because she's lost both her coats. What little fur she had on her ears had two mats that I had to cut off. She also came home traumatized. It's been several days and when I reach to pet her she yelps, like I'm going to hurt her, which I would never. She ultra sensitive on her back. I can see a dozen or more sores there now. She's also having nightmares and is whining in her sleep. She's never had a groomer treat her like this. I'm going to take her to the vet to see about getting antbiotics and pain meds. I used to highly recommend Sloppy Dog on Peoria to my friends, but not anymore. A friend suggested Pooches on 41st near Yale for my next grooming.

From start to finish was a phenomenal experience! Brenda went above and beyond and made Skyler the happiest little guy in town! Excellent job we will be back! Also, when you walk in it is refreshing that it is low key and not stressful like other places.

Took my dog here to get a nail trim and it doesn’t even look like they did anything. He was back there for maybe 3 minutes. I just figured they were fast. I didn’t notice my dogs nails until I got in my car and I seriously thought they didn’t do anything but I noticed one nail was shorter than the rest so who knows. The place was really cute and had a lot of fun treats and toys but I did not have the best experience.

This was my first time at Sloppy Dog. A wonderful and welcoming experience! McKaleigh ( I apologize if I'm not spelling your name correctly) was so helpful in deciding what kind of bath my newly adopted shelter dog needed. He was stinky from the "pound" and scratching constantly. She took the time to look him over and decide on what type of shampoo he needed. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They walked me through the process and off we went! Staff is so accommodating and friendly and professional. I plan to return again and again. Go check them out. Lovely people. Excellent place to bathe your doggie.

We always go to the New Orleans location and my dog loves Lauren. We only go when she is there and is is so sweet to Sarah Jane! She makes our monthly visits special by the way she is happy to see our dog and treats her with lots of love and gentleness. ♥️💕❤️

Went to have my dog’s nails clipped on a Sunday. Nicest young lady and guy there. It was my girls first time getting clipped by someone and they were nervous. The couple was so sweet to them and made them feel at ease. They were so helpful and patient and I could truly tell they loved dogs. I haven’t used the dog wash, but as far as service hoes…A+!

I’m from South Florida just passing through town for the weekend. They were able to get me in the next day. They did an amazing job grooming my dog. I can honestly say from here to South Florida they are THE BEST! Clean facility and staff is super friendly. Will definitely be bringing Papí back when we come through Tulsa again.

My girl decided to roll in some disgusting "stuff" at work, so I had to find some place really quick. Luckily I found these guys! Very nice employees willing to explain anything and everything you need. Highly recommend them!

Sloppy Dog Wash has become my go-to place for keeping my pup clean, and it's been consistently great. The staff here are always helpful and friendly, making the experience smooth and stress-free, especially Andrew. It's a relief to have a place I can go to wash my dog.

Just went to Sloppy Dog Wash with my rescue for his first nail clipping and for already a 2 year 60 lbs dog he was a big baby and was not a fan but the staff there made sure that he was okay and gave him plenty of treats. Truly very understanding and kind people work here. We will Definity be back

I was going to use your service but was told the full service wash is first come first serve. I'm confused by this, it makes sense for the self wash. But If I'm paying $100 for a grooming I would expect to be able to make an appointment and not just show up and wait for my turn.

The self service dog wash is awesome, haven’t used the drop off grooming. Very friendly and helpful staff and plenty of bathing goodies. It’s a little pricey so we only use them when the weather is too bad out to do a bath outside, but if you have a dirty dog this is the place.

I bring my dog here regularly for washes. This place can do self serve or full service washes. I'm a self serve person myself and highly recommend as my dog is a mess trying to wash him at home.

This is a great spacious place, to wash/dry and give your dog a facial 😀 👍 for a good price with all the above included!!!! April 21,2024 after 1PM ~Anthony had left, it was noticeably slower than normal to get in, even when 4 dogs 🐕 came out. The head woman seem slow and partial!!!

We are not from here and we were staying the weekend and had our dog with us. She needed a bath so we went here. The self wash was awsome and so much easier to do it there instead at home or hotel. They provided shampoo and conditioner and shampoo safe for there ears and eyes. Our dog has to have a certain kind of shampoo and they provided the oat meal kind no extra charge. They provide towel and the blow dryer is awsome! We also got a toy(6.99), cookie (2.48) she loved the cookie!, and a dog tag for only $5.00. The total was was 18$. So all together 26$ which is pretty cheap in my book for all of that! Very friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone!

Today was a really unprofessional and not so pleasant experience.We took our 5 month old puppy into what would’ve been her first groomer experience. We made this appointment 2 weeks prior and they seemed pretty professional over the phone while making the appointment.When we arrived today we were about 3 minutes late due to traffic and I called to inform them and they said it would be perfectly fine. When checking in our puppy the lady at the check in/out counter was very aloof and did not seem to know exactly what was going on with handling our dogs hand-off that initially made things kind of “strange.”The groomer came out to meet our dog and apparently she was in the midst of a groom because she had hair all over her which (I understand it’s a “groomers”) she didn’t seem to listen very well about the instructions on the cut we desired for our dog she was more interested in what my toddler was saying. We were able to walk our dog back to where they kennel until the actual groom takes place. The kennels were raggedy and they didn’t seem to really have a warm welcoming for our dog. It was just like “Welp, this is where she’ll be, she’ll be fine .. see ya later type deal”After hesitantly dropping our dog off at the appointed time in return they initially had given me an estimate of 2 hours at max from drop-off. So, two hours goes by and then three and I had not received a text or phone call so I called them.They then told me that she hasn’t been started that the dogs ahead of her took longer than excepted (blah blah blah) and just was very cold and non compassionate at the fact this was our fist time, she is a puppy, she is in a kennel where other dogs have been healed for over three hours without water or accessibility to relieve herself if needed.My biggest concern was my dog of course and my issue is the unprofessionalism and non communication. We went and picked our dog up and naturally I’m upset but handled myself really well considering the way they handled us. The cashier was again cold and rude. She went to the back and I could literally see her talking to the groomer, the groomer then went and got our puppy she didn’t even place her harness or leash on properly it wasn’t even completely on and she didn’t speak, no explanation, no apology, NO NOTHING! Just basically rudely passed off the leash to me and walked off!So after that we left! Without anything further said. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this place of business to anyone just from our first time terrible experience. Others may like it and have great experiences but we did not!

I have been going to Sloppy Dog for the last 2.5 years. I was referred to a wonderful groomer named, Desi by my cousin who had been going to her for years. She has the most amazing way with all her animals! She takes such care and literally loves all her customers. She’s always accommodating and goes over and above expectations to make sure you’re satisfied. I’d never take my fur babies to anyone else but her.

I brought my dogs in to self serve, bathe them. I have always had a good experience when I brought my dogs in and bathed them myself but this week I was there and I witnessed one of their employees be very, very rough with a little dog that have been dropped off for a bath. I watched the man drop his dog off and he said her name and that she was only a puppy.I was in the process of washing my dog, and I heard the employee, Kim, yelling at the puppy for trying to crawl out of the bathtub. She got louder and louder, and told the Puppy that it was making her mad. Which made me look around the corner to watch her and see what she was doing. I watched her jerk the puppy down and spin it around. VERY roughly.I told her to stop it, and that that was only a puppy, and that she was being too Rough.This really shook me up, and I was visibly shaking after I had to speak up on behalf of the puppy.When I left, I asked to speak to the manager, but they evidently don’t have a manager. But I did speak with an employee who said she has been working there for several years and I asked her to give my business card to the owner and have him call me.This was five days ago and I have yet to receive a phone call. I even reached out on Facebook to the owner and gave him my phone number and asked him to call me but I have gotten no call.I read some of the reviews recently about their employees and their grooming practices and such. And I have read the responses from the owner. I don’t think the owner cares. All he does is get defensive instead of really trying to get to the bottom of issuesSo I’m sure you’re going to read this, Eric Brown-Odell, and I hope you take it seriously.Maybe Kim was having a bad day, but she definitely should not be handling people’s puppies and dogs the way she handled the one that I witnessed. If it was my business, I would fire her before somebody takes a video or talks about this on social media, and it should happen to go viral. Because I know that will ruin a business, especially in Tulsa. When it has to do with mistreating people’s pets.I will still come back to wash my dogs on my own until I get a dog wash built in my house but I would absolutely not recommend anyone drop off their dog for grooming or dog wash unless you plan to stay there and watch it happen. I don’t think dogs are safe there.

Just took my dog Toby there today to give him a bath and we had a great experience! He smells so good! I’ll definitely be bringing him back again! Very reasonably priced place as well! Was super easy and fun giving him his bath! Love having the self service option! Thank you all sm! ❤️

The ladies here are so friendly and caring!! I brought in a recently adopted shelter dog (84 pounds big!) and two of the ladies helped me with his bath and even took extra care with trimming his nails (they really needed it!). I can’t say enough about how sweet they were to him and how they went above and beyond to make him comfortable in a new environment.

My dog was here for 7 hours, a full 2 hours past his pickup time before he was ready. The cut he came out with was not what I requested and I STILL had to pay full price. They’ll charge the customer extra if they’re 2 hours late picking their dog up, but we can’t get that an equal discount off the bill if the groomer is 2 hours late.

I ended up cancelling my appointment for my dog's grooming since I got him in sooner at another shop.I didn't catch the name.of the person answering the phone, but they were great when setting up my appointment and great when cancelling my appointment.This place is booked out pretty far, so they must be doing something right.

This places is awesome! We adopted a large dog that we just cannot wash at home. This place has large standing tubs, towels, shampoo, blueberry facials, dryers, etc! Everything you need! Very easy process and friendly staff!
