I have used Petco grooming services for years. I moved to Tulsa and started using this location's services, but I stopped taking my dog there after the last appointment because he seemed off for the rest of the day. Almost traumatized, even though he has always loved his time with groomers in the past. This was odd since no one shared that anything had gone wrong. After a few days when he started acting like his usual self I noticed he had some scabs that he didn't have before. It's been several months since we quit Petco, but wanted to share our experience since seeing other customers having the same issues. Hopefully things improve at this location if they have not already.

I took my dog for a nail trim around 2pm on Saturday March 16th, 2024. It was a full house. I did notice in particular a lady in the far back left by the wall working on a black German Shepard mix. She was extremely aggressive with him and seemed like she was hurring the dog. If I was the owner watching, I would have snatched him up and left. The groomer working on the dog said she was just bit by a German in Jan.When my dog was finally brought back another lady coming back from lunch put him on the table. They all wear very tight looking leashes around their neck too (coming back to that). Anyways, at one pint during the nail trim my dog who's a huge 85lb lab started to try and get away. My thought was she clipped the nail short, which I know hurts. However, He almost fell off the table and it is metal which is very slick on their paws. This would have been a huge issue because of him being high up with a tight short leash like a noose. He could have hung himself, snapped his neck or really hurt something internally.I will for now on take him to his vet for trimmings. The last previous groomer was great. I miss her .Everyone in their Saturday you could tell do not care for the animals and just have a job to make money.

We recently got our dog groomed here and it had been a while as our preferred groomer had left. We picked him up and thought everything went well, though he wasn't acting quite like himself for the rest of the day. Today we discovered some scabs that definitely weren't present before we dropped him off for his appointment. We won't be going back for grooming

Never take your dog here for grooming. It’s been a cluster every single time but today took the cake since my dog was in a cage for FIVE hours prior to even start her grooming. I was getting worried so I called THREE times with no answer so I drove there. Jackie had just put my dog on the table to start her. I waited another 30 mins while she rushed through the cut..which looks rough and she didn’t clean up her beard. I spoke to the Manager that could have cared less and still charged me full price. My dog is super stressed out and I’m finally done with Petco altogether.

They might of had good groomers in the past based on OLD reviews but what they did to Luke's poor dog was horrid. Don't go here people. There's a reason the availability is what it is.

The man at check in was extremely nice and helpful. The groomer was sweeter than I could have expected. She comforted both me and my dog. She clipped Hippo's nails better than the vets office has been. 10/10 will go back and recommend to all!

The ladies who helped with Ruger were absolutely wonderful. My pup gets pretty nervous about new places. When I picked him up his tail was wagging and he was happy. Thank you to the team at Petco for taking the best care of my boy.

Petco was awesome thanks people were really nice and my dog seemed happy. I do have a couple of things wrong. My dogs nail got snipped a little too short which was sore later, but she's fine and dandy. And the the cut took all together 4 hours but with the pandemic and everything going on right now I'm just thankful Petco was open and willing to take care of my dogs needs. I want to say way to go for them all at Petco and keep up the good work! And stay safe everyone. Thank you for your service and for being so cool with me and my dog!! I recommend Petco to everyone and their pet.

The groomer we had, Trinity, was very helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions regarding our dog and his body odor. She did an excellent job of grooming him as well. Generally, when we have him groomed within a day he smells like we never took him to the groomer. Not this time, however, whatever she used worked wonders and even with outside exercise daily he smells pretty much like he did after his bath. Thanks a million! She could have just not listened to us and continued to use the sensitive skin shampoo with oatmeal, which I think is causing him to smell, and we paid and left. But she listened and we came up with a plan to try tea tree instead to see how well it worked. It was a huge difference! Just taking the time to listen made all the difference in the world in how she approaches dour dog's grooming. It makes a huge impact on us and obviously the outcome of the service. 10/10 in our book.

Jacque is always so friendly and helpful - plus my dogs love her and she does a beautiful job. I trust her and the other groomers there to take good care is my 15 year old dog.
