Took our Papillon’s in for a trim and nail grind. They weigh 4 pounds a piece. The male Poppy was cut on the webbing of his foot, got a call that they took him to the vet. They covered the expense. He has a wrapped up foot and didn’t receive his groom or get finished of course. The female Allie got her trim but was cut short on top where can’t wear her bows. The staff of course said we are not going to charge you for Poppy’s cut and I replied that you shouldn’t charge because you didn’t do any grooming but did injure our pet. We paid for Allie’s groom $80.00, which was not we expected. No discount on hers offered. Poppy has to go back Monday to the vet to be reevaluated. Will not return. Hopefully he has no nerve damage. Frustrated and concerned.

I had a wonderful experience! employees were the sweetest people ever and answered all questions I had about about my puppy. They have a lot of variety, you can definitely find anything for your puppy here. My go to pet store from now on for sure.

It was a super nice store, the employees were all super friendly and helped me get the fish I wanted. I also got a BEAUTIFUL Betta fish for my tank at home and all the fish get along great and seem rather healthy!!(For reference I got 6 Corydoras and one Betta fish)

I took my dog for a nail trim around 2pm on Saturday March 16th, 2024. It was a full house. I did notice in particular a lady in the far back left by the wall working on a black German Shepard mix. She was extremely aggressive with him and seemed like she was hurting the dog. If I was the owner watching, I would have snatched him up and left. The groomer working on the dog said she was just bit by a German in Jan.When my dog was finally brought back another lady coming back from lunch put him on the table. They all wear very tight looking leashes around their neck too (coming back to that). Anyways, at one pint during the nail trim my dog who's a huge 85lb lab started to try and get away. My thought was she clipped the nail short, which I know hurts. However, He almost fell off the table and it is metal which is very slick on their paws. This would have been a huge issue because of him being high up with a tight short leash like a noose. He could have hung himself, snapped his neck or really hurt something internally.I will for now on take him to his vet for trimmings. The last previous groomer was great. I miss her .Everyone in their Saturday you could tell do not care for the animals and just have a job to make money. I would not recommend them now witht the current groomers working there.

Worst place to go for grooming. I took my dog to get groomed. He was a little matted but not to an extreme. Jennifer D was the groomer who refused to service me or my dog and told me he needs to be sedated in order to be groomed. Immediately took him to petsmart who had NO ISSUES grooming my dog.

I'm really disgusted at this store. I stopped in to grab my bearded dragon some crickets and while I was in there I noticed a baby bearded dragon that clearly had atadenovirus - stargazing - so I let an employee know. She went to get her manager. The manager came over and proceeded to tell me the dragon is fine because it was running around earlier. I explained that dragons with stargazing disease can still move around but they suffer. She wouldn't listen and said thanks for telling us but it's fine and walked away. That poor dragon could be infecting all the other 10 dragons he's being kept in a tank with - which is also bad for them - and people are going to buy dragons although are gonna die in a few weeks. They don't care about these animals at all and it's sickening. I won't be back.

I hesitated on bringing my dog to the grooming salon with the up and down reviews, but I’m so glad I did!! So much better than Petsmart. Petsmart always said he had mats when he didn’t and would shave him clean. Petco gave him the exact haircut I wanted and he was done within hour and half! Jackie is the absolute best. He was happy when I picked up and looks so great! Definitely would recommend this place.

Everyone was very helpful, as always!! My only complaint is as follows: when I purchased the product for $100 I used a debit card. No problem! I returned it, because it wasn't what I wanted exactly. No problem. When I went to used the same machine with the same debit card, it wouldn't accept my debit. I had to use it as credit. No it won't be back in my account for 3 to 5 business days. Explain that???

The staff really care about how the animals are treated, and it is always nice to see happy animals. Also, it's fun to watch the dog training they have. If you need to ask questions or ask for a certain product, they have always been helpful. So, I go here enough that they know my name. Or, that's just how good they are at what they do :-)

Always enjoy my trips to petco. They have a wide variety of freshwater fish, it’s so hard to narrow down what I want! The store associates are always very helpful and friendly. The selection of Betta fish is great. So many beautiful colors!

Lacks cleanliness and service. My pet’s nose was raw on the tip, cut was choppy and definitely not up to expectations. Very disappointed.

Every animal wasn't having the proper care for instance, the chameleons should live alone or else they fight and share bacteria the water bowl is a great way for them to get sick the fake plants if they eat one which they tend to do they could die pretty quick every animal in the store had a super unhealthy diet and the wrong care please don't buy from Petco or PetSmart and research before buying an animal don't just ask employees.

I love this petco location! they are quite knowledgeable about their animals... the animals are well cared for and you can tell the difference! We got our guinea pig Penny from them and she is the sweetest most friendly guinea pig ever! Definitely handled more than the guinea we got from petsmart... we also adopted our cat wade from them, he too is the sweetest animal... never been so happy with a pet store!

We didn’t get what we wanted, an igloo style, doghouse so w e purchased a different one which we ended up taking back because one not we wanted in the first place and two not a big enough replacement for what we originally wanted

So our last visit (with a different groomer) did not go so well. We originally didn’t plan to come back. However, we went in and we were looking at things and Jenna B sparked a conversation with us. She remembered our poodles haircut (which was over 7 months ago, props to her because my memory is terrible lol) she apologized for how it went with the other groomer, offered her card and to reschedule with her. Being a manager, I highly recognized this customer service and how she went above and beyond. She regained our trust. We scheduled our pup for a grooming session the following day. She went above and beyond and he came home VERY well taken care of! I’m beyond thankful for her and will continue to schedule with her. Thank you Jenna B!

I took my dogs to the groomer they told me how much they were going to cut off when I got my dogs back them they did way more than they said ,they cuts on the backs and ears. Since I have picked them up both have not been the same. One of my dogs will not eat or drink. Petco groomers I will never take them back
