You will smell like a cheeseburger when you leave!The small place was packed. Luckily, we got a table. There was a group of 16 ladies having a luncheon and gossip session. They filled the small dining area. Fortunately for us, most of them already had their orders when we walked in. The kitchen staff was hustling. We were orders #26 and 27. Order 22& 23 went to their table; #24&25 was a to-go order. Quickly after that, our orders came out, #26 (regular cheeseburger and fries) and #27 (double cheeseburger and O-Rings)I was surprised, these are hearty cheeseburgers. Good big beef patties, between fresh buns and dressed with L,T,P,O&M. Hold the mayo and I should have said hold the ketchup. A minor slip up and infraction of proper burger protocol on my part. Excellent Burgers. The fries and onion rings, commonly found fast food prepared versions, were perfectly cooked to the proper golden brownIt is a small community/neighborhood gas station/store that has been around forever. Friendly service. After our order was served, the cook came out of the kitchen and got involved with the gaggle of ladies as they were finishing their lunch.The burgers at Payton’s frequently are caught up in food fights on local foodie blogs. Burger aficionados spar endlessly with polemic comments to defend their favorite “Best burger in Tulsa.” It is an unresolvable controversy. I would certainly rate Payton’s Corner burgers in the top 10. Try it if you haven’t.

Went here for lunch yesterday & ordered two single bacon cheeseburger combos w/grilled onions, mushrooms & a Cajun Meatpie. The burgers were delicious & juicy. It wasn't too busy, so the cook had a chance to come out & we chatted a bit. Super cool guy! I'll definitely be back. Total cost $28.51

New owners purchased this little gas station and turned ot around. Food is really good there. Had the burger and it was nice and juicy with perfectly cook crinkle fries. They even gave me a veterans discount (thank you owners).They went from selling 10 to 12 burgers a day and thanks to word of mouth, they are selling over 100+ a day. They even have a made to cook breakfast.Great little gem of a place to go. The grill is open 11-2 on the weekend and unsure when they open during the week. Give them a try.

Stopped by today for lunch and it was amazing. They have a cheeseburger combo @9.99 and trust me you will be so full when you leave. Also the nicest people ever are running this place. We are going back Friday for catfish, they only serve it on Friday but maybe if we try we all could get them to do it more often 🤷‍♀️. Anyway this place is great and everyone should try it.

Very solid burger. Not at all what I expected. I gave the bacon cheeseburger a 9.It absolutely blew my mind coming from a gas station.I love this hidden gem. The breakfast is equally delicious!

This by far the friendliest and affordable gas station in Tulsa. The staff is alway welcoming. They are also very accommodating when they don't have a product in stock. They will make sure to make arrangements to have it the next time you come in. One of the things I love about this place is that it has been open and operating in this location since the 1930s. Not only is it convenient, but its a part of our local history! Make sure to stop for gas, food, fun! And don't forget to pick up a commemorative Payton's Corner t-shirt.

Super friendly staff and clean bathroom and they do have 100% gasoline, but the best surprise was the excellent food they have here with the Bayou Boyz BBQ. The andouille sausage sandwich that I had and the red beans and rice was better than any restaurants around here serve. They also have indoor seating with some booths, so you can sit down and eat. I would rather come here than any of the national chain convenience stores. The owner of Bayou Boyz said they will have chili at some point, (I forgot when he said) but if it's the same guy-and it is-that made the red beans and rice then I know I'll be stopping in to get some of that. This place has turned out to be a very nice, pleasant, hidden gem for cajun style food.

Very nice inside. New owners are absolutely wonderful. Very clean store right on par with quick trip. Staff has been very accommodating when it come to ordering new products. Highly recommend seeing the changing that have been made. Good job guys

My friend and I got caught in a tornado warning, and not only did the attendant let us take shelter, but he gave us fountain drinks and food as well. He kept us updated on the radar and let us know when it was safe to drive home.I wish I had gotten his name so I could rave about him even more.
