My company called ahead and asked if we could have empty boxes for our Taste of Tulsa fundraiser, their employee simply said yes. I went to pick up what I thought they pulled for us, after I took a few out and came back for more a very rude, hateful young woman reprimanded me publicly stating "You need to buy something in return for those boxes, we're not a box store we are a liquor store"! There was much more said but I don't want to mis-quote.No one told us that over the phone so, I was not aware And I would've been happy too do so. She referenced a sign stuck to the wall blocked by boxes, about 10ft from the floor. I'm 5"2 so I did not see it. I'm not clear why the other employees that treated me nicely didn't make me aware upon arrival either. As a 50 year old Director of Accounting and not some scumbag thief I was completely offended by her tone and embarrassed by the way she spoke to me, never will I ever buy anything from them nor recommend them to anyone. We work with liquor stores all over Tulsa this time of year promoting their businesses, this will not be one of them.

It's a very nice place and the Cashier was very nice and she was to talk to... Big Smile 😁I just wish that they had a better inventory cuz I had to settle for something else and they only sold Pepsi products... Not good for a mixer

Decent spot to grab a few bottle on my way home. Craft beer selection is good, and they are constantly turning over products to new ones.The place has changed recently with the fridge laws. The beer area is fairly open, with lots of coolers along one wall.Additionally, you can go through a glass door to behind these coolers. In the back there are a bunch more craft beer and cider.

Always friendly service. Convenient downtown location next to Mazzios. I didn't give it a 5 because the prices are slighter higher than liquor stores in the city.

Good shop. Has a great assortment of drinks. Really enjoy the walk-in fridge and whine cooler additions they added. The employees are typically helpful and friendly, and sometimes a little wakey. In other words, they will give you help with character.

It's huge inside and they do have a fairly good wine selection.However the people at the desk were not helpful and when I asked if they carried a specific liquor- they acted like it was a chore to answer me. I ended up just not purchasing anything as i felt like I was interrupting whatever they were doing at the front counter. (we were the only people in the store mid afternoon)I didn't see much else I couldn't get elsewhere but I didn't shop prices on my usuals to know for sure.

I have not been to this place, but would love to go one day!I can guarantee to anyone that the Teremana Small Batch Tequila is absolutely a 19 out of 10 to say the least . It is absolutely excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone.!! It’s a knockout in all sense of the word.It is as smooth as it gets and helps me to safely enjoy while lifting spirits! Nuff said

Very pleasantly surprised! Nice selection of wine and spirits and beer! Not what we expected in this area, but nice clean store with very nice customer service. Was asked immediately if I needed help and he really knew his wine and was a great help!

This spot stands out from the crowd. Desiree is the ultimate helpful employee. Her customer service was excellent and she knew her product well. If you are ever looking for a good recommendation or looking for something specific she will definitely know how to help you.

Nice location, downtown. Store looks nice. Whiskey section needs work. Irish, Scotch, American whisk(e)y all mixed together. They should spend some time keeping them separated to make it easier to view and chose. They were pretty cleaned out of all the better scotch. When I asked when they’re be getting a shipment of what was missing, the young lady just shrugged and said “No clue”.

Hello! I just stopped in and wanted to share my experience. First, it’s a beautiful building and smelled great inside. I was greeted by a friendly employee even though he was also assisting another person. Good music. Employees were happy and chatting yet still attentive. I had a hard day at work and somehow the whole vibe has me set for a better evening! Keep it up. Also, extra props for inclusivity sign and box for warm clothes donations. Really appreciate both 😍

I love this store, it is large and open, with a great atmosphere, and a great selection. Friendly and helpful staff...I called ahead to see if they had a certain product, and the employee not only found it, but put it back for me til I got there. THANKYOU!!!

Really great selection of local craft beers, regional selections and special releases. Came in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at all of their choices. Art deco building in the heart of downtown. Seemed like a sizable selection of wines as well. Would recommend stopping here if you are looking for some good beer from Tulsa, OK and elsewhere.

Modern Spirits is my neighborhood spirit shop. They delivered during the pandemic when all was almost lost. Forever cheers to that! My normal beverage is a spritzer but occasionally I'll liven it up with something. This photo says it all and I really hope you get the reference.

Extremely rude on the phone! I have walked into the store and shopped many times with no problems. I moved to a new neighborhood and was googling liquor stores near me. I also wanted to find out which liquor stores deliver now that we have a new state law. I called Modern Spirits because they had always been one of my favorites. Before I could even get my question out, I was told quite rudely to shut up and he disconnected. I called back to complain and a woman told me that they did that because I used Google to place the car. I don’t think Modern Spirits needs to worry about my calling them anymore. They also don’t need to worry about my showing up in person to spend my money with their establishment no matter how close they are to where I live and or work!

A great selection of wine liquors and beer, but some may say there is too wide of a selection leading you to browse for an extended time while you make up your mind. But at least the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.Update: They have created more space in the store and have a very large beer selection.

Good beer selection. You can sometimes find a great deal with their pick 6 wall. Only constructive criticism is that they don't always label their beer prices correctly. Great place to pick up your libations though.

My Neighborhood Liquor Store ,the only one Downtown, is a big friendly place .. They got just about anything you could want except Heaven Hill ,ah well not a big deal. They have a huge selection of beers I mean everything from PBR to stuff I had never heard of and can't afford to remember . I've read the labels on a few of the varieties of craft beers, lagers & ales they carry , interesting combinations for sure ,if that's what your looking to buy they got you covered. So go check them out for sure, don't be scared they're friendly as can be.

The shelves were pretty empty. Almost nothing to choose from. The prices were too high. I paid $21 for the same size bottle I usually pay $11 for. The only good thing I can say; they are open till midnight. That's why I went there.

Excellent selection across the board. Definitely the most diverse and broad spectrum of beer in Oklahoma. Furthermore, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful including the liquor store puppy. Also, from what I could tell, they are installing a gigantic refrigiration system. One of the largest I've seen. I highly reccomend Modern Spirits!
