This place has never had what I would call good customer service, but it could be dealt with. I preferred the one on 11th at Xanthus. Roughly a mile away. They had awesome customer service. Of course, they had to shut that one down. Now, this one at 3rd & Utica is just out of control. This female that works dayshift Is the rudest yet. I mean awful. I don't know what I could have possibly done to her. To make her be so rude to me. All I did was go in there to shop. Like I said it's never been the greatest when it comes to customer service, but this is just too much. I believe I'll just start going to Dollar General on Lewis.

So they've got an employee there doing a security guards job. On The Family Dollar company website, it states that the franchise does NOT employee or utilize security employees at the stores. That the employees are NOT to touch or apprehend or acaust in any manner anyone inside the store for any reason. This "security guard" stopped my husband as we were entering the store and tells him he needs to zip up his jacket, as he is wearing a tank top underneath. Another man enters literally behind us, wearing NO shirt at all, and is said nothing to. Several days later, upon entering the store, he walks up to my husband and literally pulls a candy bar and soda pop out of his pants pocket, which he already had from the qt when we entered the store. We are walking mind you, so had no vehicle to leave our stuff in. Again we don't have a car, and now the man says he isn't allowed back in the store. This is an issue when there is a limited number of stores in our walking range.

I ran into this site and I was shocked. It was so clean and organized. There was even a very polite security guard greeting people up front. They really succeeded in transforming this location into something I will come back to.

The place is ok but it seems like they don't trust anyone with a large bag... hassled my wife about hers one time, then another we were followed around as if we had been seen stealing there before or something.

I've been going there for six years now. But since a employee named Shannon has worked there it has been pretty terrible. Every time I walk in and she is working she has to ask me if I'm in a good mood or bad mood, when it really isn't none of her business. This employee has very bad people skills, very rude, and likes ignoring you until she's ready to answer what Isle something is on.

Family Dollar is a great place to drop in for some general items that you may need for your home or for dinner cleaning supplies are great there the staff are usually somewhat helpful and they generally have what I'm looking for in stock the prices are great that's the main reason I go there they usually have what I'm looking for or something very similar for a very reasonable price.

I went in earlier today after making a small purchase, I had walked a mil e and half with sixty plus in groceries and the store manager "Ryan" refused to give me but one groceries sack. Boycotting until they get better help

Only 2 shopping carts, cluttered aisles, broken coolers, vagarents that hang around loitering on a regular, and a sales associate with the attitude of an ill tempered gang member. So disgusting. Family dollar should offer a basic etiquette course to explain what professionalism and customer service is. Shameful enough I'll spare the extra dollars and shop at Walmart.

Pretty unusual experience a few days ago at this store (4th & Utica). I was shopping at this store with a broken arm (in a cast) and my grandson was with me. After I paid for my purchases it was clear to an employee that I needed help getting everything out to my car. His name was Doyce-- when we got to my car I told him I needed to lay the baby on the seat while I changed his diaper ( one handed). This young man took my speech away: he changed the diaper for me. I didn't know what to say. I finally offered him two dollars for the help and he just smiled, didn't take the money and went back inside. He make a customer for life.

I was a assistant manager there... It was horrible management was terrible she never had a schedule made when we needed it there was alot of highschool gossip about everyone very rude people I was not pleased with the team needs improvment!

Same thing me needing supplies for my bathroom we all know our kids can break the restroom with dirt toys shoes my boys are so rough tub cleaning is a must after each kid lol prices are not bad at all stop in have a look.
