This store has a guy blocking the door not letting people in at 9:50 pm they don't close till 10pm. Lazy employees definitely not trying for customers service at this location.

This dollar genera should close down for one it stays trashy in the parking lot the store is junky and unkept. The sore is closed most of the time either Saturday or on SundayA manager needs to work in this store more often. They took the old CVS which is about 2 miles down on Admiral and Sheidan and is going to open it up real soon and I hope they close this DG down.

Rude staff. Picks and chooses who to treat with respect or treat badly. Asking only certain women to leave their purses and from what I could tell they are based on looks which I find very rude.

Nice store, nice employees. Had a mix up about soda on sale & the male employee there did a great job helping me figure it out & refunding my money & charging the correct price for the correct items! I go here every Friday & they are very helpful. Some other customers are sketchy but don't worry the employees take good care of this store!

Not to bad. Just don't try and get a job with them.i applied there 2 months ago and just got a interview. Then they whent on to tell me that they want to hire me but now that it took so long they have found a transfer from another store to feel the position. So now i am suppose to just wait. Not sure that is a very good selection process. But what do I know I am just a potential part time worker anyway.

I went inside this store today, They staff seems very busy. As soon as I entered the store the sensor went off , Staff noticed and did not address anything. I often grab little things needed for me and my kids. This time it was cosmetic and a few cleaning supplies. After about 45 minutes in the store and at the register I pulled out my money to pay, as I turned to the side their were a police officer stating that she sit a call that I may have had something stolen in my purse. I immediately dumped out my purse, definitely outraged but still did it, the cashier called the the police assuming I had stolen something when she was the person at the door when I came in. After dumping my things, I told them I would handle it with corporate, and it would have been smart to review cameras and approach about me her concerns. She begin stating that the area was bad and known for people stealing. I had a mask to keep safe from the pandemic, and I had a ball cap on. The police calmed me down and they Left. Of course I'm insulted. Would have rather went to smaller store than Walmart or target to prevent being around so many bodies. I am still upset. I also had receipts of the items that were in my purse from previous day shopping. The manager was not wearing a name badge. I asked for her name she said it was Melissa Jennings. I hope no one ever experience that ever .. bring back great customer service..

*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT*This store has made an unbelievable turn around and has made shopping there a real treat. They have baskets, fully stocked shelves & have hired employees that are SUPER nice and helpful. KOODOS for the person who hired the Assistant Manager at this store.

I fixture these stores for a living. This is by far not the worst I have seen but from a remodel and customer standpoint it needs drastic help and soon. The aisles not being stocked properly is bad enough but when rolltainers sit on the aisles and impede shopping..... You can't sell what the customer can't reach.

For being a new store (3+) yrs, been through 3 store managers, is a messy store. Shelves almost empty, merchandise on floor either dropped by customer or child and not picked up. I go to the newly renovated store on admiral and Pittsburgh, it's so much better

Quik, polite, friendly service. Very knowledgeable about their products, where to find them, and reasonably priced. Restocking of certain areas of the store needs more attention ie.:batteries, eyeglasses,certain foodstuffs,toiletries...overall though is clean, orderly...

Poor service here. I bought a cylinder of propane and I had to go back in the store and make the staff come out and give me my propane. They were all too happy to take my money but didn't want to give me my product I paid for.

Always disorganized, dirty and manager/employees are rude! Always a long line at the one and only register. Shelves aren't stocked. Floors are disgusting. Trash all over the parking lot. Would recommend using a different store.

If I was Dollar General, I would be ashamed to have this store be apart of my company. This store was trashed, everything seemed to be in the floor. It was hard to get down any aisles because the door was covered in things. It only had one shopping cart in the entire store. There was a homeless person outside next to the door, sitting on the sidewalk coloring with a stroller next to her filled with junk. There were three Dollar General employees in the store, one was on register and the other two were wondering around the store doing nothing. The shelves also seemed bare.

This place has made a huge improvement recently which is the only reason it's 3 stars. There's so much shoplifting going on in this store it's insane. The shelves use to be bare, it was dirty everywhere. They had pallets and carts of stock just everywhere. Some aisles were blocked off or just inaccessible all together. The employees are slow and rude. We stood at the register waiting for the cashier to walk 5 feet. Before we even got to the register she saw us. She chose to take her time and only make her way over when I asked if anyone could check us out.

John, an associate at DG, N. Harvard has always been good customer service; wirh a smile! Its possible we may soon lose this great young man to a transfer. Just like the previous manager, John may be relocated to the N. Lewis store. We already lost one great worker and now we stand to lose the second and equally as important John. Other than this the store is always well stocked and clean and the people that work there are friendly and competent. It's just very upsetting to know that you're going to lose someone that's been such great help in the past and won't be there to help you in the future. Lewis is too far to go and I hope you selected good replacements for these wonderful employees.

this place is getting ridiculous. shelves are always empty. they never have enough help. And the help the do have talks about the other employees stealing and how much they dislike their place of employment. I believe this store may need a lot of help to make it

All was fine till I was leaving the store and tripped on the rubber rug outside the store, then I fell hard on my knees and hip making it very hard to get up. My legs are very sore so much that after two knee surgeries I'll most likely have to have another.

Andrew an employee there is not helpful what's so ever, I almost can't even stand it when I see him, hge sucks at customer service. Hes not knowledgeable enough to be any kinda manager (if that's really what he is). All and all he's very weird and makes weird sounds with his mouth.The plus side to this place is it's finally getting updated looking. It i's very close to me so that's a good thing also.

Ladies and Gentleman this is the best Dollar General Store in the Nation. The manager of the store is very professional and not only has a nice clean store, but she looks out for her customers and doesnt allow the homeless people to bother us.

I'm giving this four stars because the staff made up for the fact that the people that go in there probably are completely messy and make it impossible for them to make the store look perfect of all times.. as for Dollar Generals go above average in cleanliness and organization

Often times I've observed employees being treated terrible by customers at this locations & they work so hard. They need more help in there. They are working so hard and also having to deal with all the nasty & hateful customers alone.

I will not shop there. The aisles were full of boxes, broken lightbulb on the floor and no products where the labels were. This is my last stop in that store on Sheridan just north of Independence. Super sad situation.

I'm still waiting for the compliment on the dg on Yale and pine to get back to me from my complaint from December!!!Where I was returning 2 items with receipts and the manager trespassed me and wouldn't allow me to return them...I went 1 mile away and returned to another dg with no issues at allI did nothing to deserve to be treated like she treated me and be trespassed!!!???!!!???

No staff (1 cashier) and long lines. Waited in line almost 30 minutes before I left. Shopping carts were non existent.
