As many times I have helped stop thief's in this location and being a daily customer I will never return here again . Stopped st the door and harassed by a fat while boy whome is a new hire . For having a bag with one item inside it I mentioned I'm one of the good guys in the neighborhood as I help them prevent theft often . I was basically told I'm a thief like all the customers .... so I suggest finding a better place to shop since the manager has it set in place that everyone is a thief and should.be talked to like trash . I wouldn't buy a toothpick from these people now after learning how the treat people .

Prices aren't accurate and they obviously don't check their shelves for expiration dates. I had 2 2 liters I had grabbed. One expired back in August and one expired the beginning of September. How long ago was the last time this one item stocked? I'd imagine they're all expired. At least the cashier was nice I guess.

Do not come here they do not care, the store is nasty and filthy, and the staff is really rude, disrespectful, and mean. Thieves nonstop, drama with fights outside the store, for your safety stay clear from this store

Low/poor selection, often understocked, store is dirty and unkempt, food is frequently old, homeless sleep outside the door. Literally only shopped her due to proximity and convenience, but now they're requiring to hold your ID just to borrow a hand basket, and I don't appreciate being treated like a common criminal at a store I have shopped at for years. Wal-mart isn't that much farther.

I was using a milk crate to carrying my items and got the cops called on me saying i was stealing. I was in the check out paying for my items. Even have a receipt to prove i paid for them. Manger is rude and needs new employs.

very bad service 😡 in particular it has 2 employees who serve in a very bad mood as if we were going to steal things and when you are really going to pay for what you buy and they even take the right to run away to their customers saying that they no longer want May they never return as they want to sell like this

Nice store. Kind employees. Love that they accept PayPal. Not proud that I've ever smoked but am very impressed with what seems to be a company wide always care for cigarettes rule. Not only did it make me feel young but it's the responsible thing to do. They're always kind and courteous but they don't bend the rule. I really respect that. It can't be easy. But from early in the morning to last at night, the people are always kind. The store is clean and easy to navigate. My 1 and only request for a change would be to price the clearance items, it not put it on that aisle. It's not clearance if it's not marked nor if it's not in that area but most of it isn't. Not Worth a star subtraction.

John is very helpful, knows the product and where to find it, assist with lifting things, just extremely good at his job. More so than many other people that have worked in the various stores although all of them seem very nice. Also this store is extremely well-stocked except for the refrigerated drinks in gallons. Other than that they have incredible displays well-stocked gondolas and some good in caps. The store layout could be a bit better as far as signage goes, but all in all it is an easy comfortable and extremely affordable place to go shopping. I would advise everyone to check it out

If two people were working I'd be shocked. It was a very busy time of day and with one cashier. I had walked in to buy one item I just forgot at Walmart thinking it would save time. I was wrong! I waited in line literally 15 minutes while the one cashier talked nonstop to every customer, she was clearly on drugs. When I walked in someone had just stolen a bag full of items apparently. I know this because of the cashier's ramblings. I feel like they've tried to cram too much into the small space which makes it difficult to see customers and reduce theft. High left rates lower profits making it difficult to keep the store staffed appropriately. The cashiers are always friendly, but I honestly don't know how they keep it together when their management clearly is not considering their employees needs or customers.

Store is stocked and clean, but the staff is SLOW and don't know how to prioritize their task. I stood in line while a man was filling up balloons for a customer not even at the register. He wasn't even paying attention to the line building up in front of him. I ended up missing my bus and had to wait for the next one .

Incredibly rude manager who doesn't know the technology that is available at her own store. Trying to get a PayPal account loaded to which I had just done the day before. All that is needed is a bar code from me and a register scanner from them. Clearly says it on my phone. Nevertheless, I tried to explain that all the clerk has to do is scan the bar code and the register will do the rest. Instead of trying and assisting the customer. She instead tells me she can not do it with out a, card? Lady, it is 2021 get with it. I tried to explain again and she just interrupted me. I said nevermind, I will come back when there is a different manager. She them tells.me she is the store manager. As if that was supposed to makee.feel better. D.G. please inform your "managment" of how these systems work. I can always come in and train. She was rude, dismissive, and was no help to her clerk what so ever. If you can't handle the pressure of 7 people in line, please find a different job. There was no reason to be rude and not listen to YOUR CUSTOMER. Good day bih!

Wouldn't recommend going to this Dollar General to shop. The store associates are very rude and most definitely Prejudice. The look we got from the older lady was purely hateful. She gave us a look that basically said why are y'all kind here. The older male cashier was rude. He wasn't even friendly no hello no eye contact. Dollar General needs to be careful when selecting their employees. Because employees like that will drive their business away. I will not ever return here. I was extremely offended and disappointed with the customer service.

The last time I came here was around February and it was as scary looking outside as it was inside (I was scared for dear life shopping in there ) but I came back today and decided to go to the DG instead of the QT right next door and let me tell u I was soooo impressed air was circulating they was mopping the floors everything looked so nice front faced and fully stocked nothing in the way 3 cashiers up front working and so lovely asked how we were doing and the lady mopping opened up the door for us and wished us a good day total 180° of how it used to be she said they got a new manager "that got things goin on " he/she indeed has things goin on ❣🙏🏼

Just came from this store. I waited in line with 5 other customers while Tanara took her time under the counter. She said she was doing something with the electronics and that we could wait. I thought that was very unprofessional and rude of her. I almost put my items down and gave my money to some other store. The other woman Wanda seen all of us standing there as well. I guess she was trying to see if the lady in front of me was shop lifting. Next time pull her to the side. Customer service should always be prompt and professional.

I like this store. The people who work here are friendly enough to assist when necessary, not hover when not needed, and are productive. Dollar Generals carry the same things, so it's the location and the employees that make the difference.

This store is violating HIPPA! I went to dollar general yesterday a usual without a mask. I have never been approached or told to put on a mask until yesterday. A male employee chased me down the aisle and asked if I had a mask. I told him no and that I can't wear them due to health reasons. He responded saying I need to wear a mask. I asked him what about people with health issues. He responded with "YOU WOULD NEED TO PROVIDE US WITH PROOF OF YOUR HEALTH REASON". I asked if he understood that violated HIPPA laws. Blank stare from him. I asked him where the straws where and he showed me and while walking with me stated he had the right to refuse service. I told him I'm doing nothing wrong and went to checkout. While I'm line he was telling his coworker I refused to leave. Keep in mind she is wearing her mask below her nose with half her mouth exposed! She said she'd help me this one time but going forward I cannot come back without proof of health reasons. I then told her she should wear hers properly if she is going to enforce it. She started she'd pull it over her nose just for me... I explained that I'd be contacting corporate over their violation of HIPPA.

Dollar general is a very good place to get many household supplies and has a convieniance frozen non perishable food arrangement as well it much better than The Family dollar store in those regards as well as pricing

The old man in the register is rude and even don't know how to use the register. When you said the price is not right, the ad says sth else, he will literally attack you or murmur sth cuz he don't know how to fix it.
