In the beginning when I first started going there it was in a horrible place meaning it was run down, damn near every shelf was empty, all boxes, crates and pullies were in the middle of the aisles with everything still wrapped and boxed up,half on the floors or walking out the door without a worry in the world and discombobulated to the max! I felt bad seeing a different employee every other day! It gradually started to get people in there that truly cared about the company, the store and the customers! In a couple of months later after not going there for a while one day walked in and was breathless and proud at how far they have come! The store looked amazing and I couldn't do anything but give them props and thank them! One of the workers said that was the best thing she's heard since she's been there and that made her feel good! First because it was acknowledged and second it was appreciated!The reason why I'm on here giving a review is because I was submitting an application for this particular store and got lost and decided to give my personal thoughts! I wish I could get my app in and hope for a possible interview and employment!Go DG awesome work and amazing genuine employees! I would love to be a part of that crew!Have a great holiday and bless you all...!

Literally never open and if they are, they open whenever they please. Lady that works there has told me I can’t bring in my backpack purse multiple times because of theft but I’M NOT STEALING. I didn’t have a car at one point and they never have shopping carts so I brought my own wagon to grocery shop and she told me I couldn’t have it in the store! I needed to buy a mop for work and the one I wanted was there, went to get it shortly after 8:00am and they weren’t open. Came back later to return the mop (that I had to drive to a different DG to purchase) and she told me I couldn’t because of policy which is FINE but then I told her I would’ve liked to have purchased it at this location originally but they weren’t open during the posted hours of operation and she starts saying something about how they weren’t open because of an inspector or something and proceeded to run her mouth at me all the way until I walked out the front door. The store is always a disaster and the only thing that can be found is the employees cigarette butts out in the front where they’re chainsmoking when you pull up! I understand this isn’t a great neighborhood but I guess apply here if you want to get paid to do whatever, whenever you want because they’re just lucky there’s a warm body in there! I can see the store from my apartment and I have to check before I go over there because there’s never anyone there! I’ve lived here for 4 years and this store should be the most convenient thing for me but it’s always a headache and I’m past the point of extending them grace. Get it together.

I can't go into dgx because of Daniel and that's a huge dent in my daily schedule because that's the most affordable store in downtown I guess I shouldn't have been stealing

No one seems to want to work here as it is often closed. I can't really blame the employees though. I wouldn't want to work at a place regularly robbed either.

They’re never open. Anytime I drive by there or try to go anytime past 4:00-5PM they’re already closed. Save yourself the trouble of stopping here bc I guarantee they’ll be closed, there’s another one about a mile down Peoria that actually stays open during it’s listed hours

They need to close this location. Half the time I stop in they have a hand written sign saying they are closed. Dollar general clearly is too cheap to pay humans livable wages. Which is why the store is a disaster everytime. Even when they are opened they price signs are wrong. So you end up at the register being charged more than you thought and they refuse to change the price or the sign. With the cashier stating "I don't do the signs".

Omg this is the trashiest store I've ever been in! Shelves were half empty, pallets and boxes all over the sales floor blocking the aisles, out of date food, and the manager was sitting behind the counter playing with her phone while the cashier worked. I would rather go deal with a whole Walmart than ever go here again. Maybe they'll also go out of business just like the Family Dollar across the street did.

The woman working here yesterday was pretty rude and crass. Despite my very notable handicaps, as soon as I asked for use of the restroom, she immediately said it was out of order. This was not the only occasion I've had dealings with this particular sales person. She is simply rude nmw and I would advise anyone interested to keep going towards a way better dollar general. She creates a bad business atmosphere

The 3 women that worked lastnight were the most nicest and helpful women, or employees for that matter, that have ever taken care of me at a Dollar General before. And I have shopped at Dollar General ever since I was a young adult. So thank you so very much!!

Girl that was working had her friends follow me out and said “I hope you got what you wanted” accusing me of stealing when they indeed did not have what I needed. Which was a knife sharpener (: do better.

Employees are great,it is very busy store,i dont understand why the dollar general corporate does not know this area,i have seen so many girls come and gone,its horrible.The employees they have now can not stock shelves and take care of customers at the same time.I say corpoate come down and get you some,See how busy they actually are.Instead of blaming employees for instagating arguments,come check it out for your self.Get some people in here that want to work,and treat them with respect.

This DG looks incredible compared to a few months ago! The store is clean & organized and the staff had great customer service skills. There is the normal merchandise out that is being stocked but this location is 100% better! Good job!

Horribly stocked, isles are difficult to get through because so many boxes in the way. I've been to this store 3 times in the past 3 weeks and it's been like this every time. Twice the cashier's did not know what they were doing and we're rude. I really wish the Family Dollar that was next door was still open. This store hasn't even been open for one full year and it's horrible.

A year ago I gave this location 5 stars for being clean and organized and having a happy staff. Now just one year later it's the worst Dollar General in Tulsa. It is NEVER OPEN, there's little pieces of tape all over the door because of how many "Were closed for such and such reason" notes they put up. Literally called an hour ago to make sure they'd be open, get there and there's a sign saying they'll reopen in an hour?? What in earth is going on here. Just close it down honestly.

This Dollar general has a big problem of staff turnover and theft. I stop in on average twice a week and experience long waits in line because of various customer service issues. Some are customer problems others are staff. Based on the amount of turnover I relate it to training. Staff are thrown to the wolves dealing with widespread theft and damaged merchandise. Not good for a location that has bee open less than two years.This location is fine for quick items, but is being used for necessary shopping for those with little to no resources for food and clothing.There was a family Dollar across the street but recently closed due to the same issues I assume.Having two locations in a one mile stretch of a low socio economic area is a problem. The issues I have with this location has more to do with the surrounding area and upper management of the company not realizing what they need to equip and retain staff and still be successful.I will still stop in occasionally, but honestly Dollar general is not the first choice on my list of stores.

I come here often because its right by my house I am a stroke survivor and I can use my powerchair to get there Thanks to the sidewalk which runs from 68th Street all the way to your parking lot!🙂😁😁😁❤❤❤A great opportunity for me to be independent! Mike today was so kind to help me get the items I needed and took them to the register for me! Plus he's an OU fan and we talked a bit of football! Ive always had great customer service from employees at this newstore!

Worst customer service ever experienced. A passenger in my vehicle attempted to shop lift. When he was caught the 2 clerks began yelling through the store demanding me to come to the front. I, however, was not shoplifting. I was forced to empty my pockets, and publicly accused of stealing an item i did not even touch. I was then golf wearing a security shirt in public was a crime. I will not be back.

There was three people working and only one register was open with a line backed up. Also when you put restrooms in a place for people please make it convenient one for men and one for women but also more than one stall because when a person has to go and can't hold it and the door is locked.

Fast and friendly. They have a special on Pepsi buy 3 get them for $0.95 each. what a deal for 3 days!!!!!!!! Forget Walmarts special at $1.25. only in America can the little stores outperform the global stores. good job Dollar general!!!!!! I'll be back again and again

Rude and unprofessional. The cashier's would always have an attitude problem she/ he would snap/yell at you for no reason, The Manager would be standing and taking to their family members/vendor while the line has four or more people in it.

They are always closing early and they don't open on time. There are days that they don't open at all. And most of the employees are rude and like to take their time helping customers or they are always outside smoking
