With the way economy keeps changing,having no car and only able to walk short distances,having a store that closes whenever they like to is rather questionable and inconvenient. And they close and lock out potential customers with seemingly a party inside. The phone is always off the hook. The prices change immediately from the ads to the price the cashier says is not negotiable. If I want a refund "the general manager aint gonma do it either.".. I was charged a dollar extra on my food stamps and they said the prices cannot be changed..... maybe a reading test needs to be conducted since yall are advocated literacy contributors..... WOW WHAT A MENTALITY TO ABE WORKING FOR ANY PLACE!!!I'd like to see this place stay open and stocked, JUST TO BE ABLE TO GET GROCERIES, but if the 2 locations I normally shop at keep closing at 3pm, that means y'all are sending business to Wal Mart, FAMILY DOLLAR, AMAZON, AND I'M SENDING REVIEWS TO DG CORPORATION.Please message me as to why your store is conducting price changes and not ringing things up.

I try to call ahead to see if Alan or Kesharra is there so I don’t waste a trip. Ppl hardly answer anyway. I’ve also been told the phones don’t really work at all so there’s no point to call (male manager told me this). They are the only 2 I’d like to deal with. The rest of the employees need to find a different line of work. Customer service is definitely not their strong suit. Saw another post where someone said to record what’s going on in there & that’s such a good idea! Will definitely be recording next time.

I felt like the manager was low key racist or something and I don’t ever try to accuse ppl of that. I came in for trash bags & he practically yelled at me for looking at stuff by the checkout while he was waiting to finish scanning my items. Store mad disorganized fr. Employees always on their phones. The Keisha girl was the only one who was nice fr. Helped me find my stuff and was patient. Keep her around. She a saint fr.

If I could give is this place of zero stars, I totally would. Not only were the two female employees that were working completely rude and hateful, but they literally could not answer or was just too lazy to actually help in any kind of way that I needed. For examples, I sent my 10-year-old daughter up to ask the two employees that were doing nothing but standing behind the front desk on their phones and listening to music so loud, that we had to yell over the music to be able to even ask a question, but when my daughter did ask. they simply rolled her eyes and ignored her. So I went up to ask the same question I sent my daughter up since they wouldn’t answer her and before I could even get my whole question out, so woman rudely looked at me and said nope they don’t have any which was not even what my question pertains to I was honestly just looking for a Christmas light clips. I was trying to see what aisle they would be on, but I ended up answering my question then when I go to check out. I was trying to ask them about one of my coupons and she just literally kept telling me I don’t know I don’t know. I don’t know anything about anything you’re asking me. I was literally just disgusted with these girls lack of manners, help, and respect. Not to mention, the store was completely cluttered and disgusting. You can barely been pushing a shopping cart through it without hitting things and knocking things over he was a day I will never go back there again, and I recommend that no one else do it either.

This store picks and chooses when it's open. They post a cardboard sign on their door stating "Store Closed" at random. For 2 weeks it was "closed" then I noticed last night they were open. Pulled in this morning at 10:15am and the cardboard sign is back up. Guess I'll start using the Family Dollar that is closer to my home bc although it costs more, they're always open. Ridiculous.

Don’t go here unless you want the door closed on your face TWO HOURS before they’re supposed to actually be closed bc the girls don’t wanna work past sundown. literally watched me pull up at 7:51 and locked the doors as I walked up just so they could sit behind the counter. Lazyyyyy

Why is it I come at 9:22 a.m. and the store is locked because there's an employee cleaning trash up in a parking lot. This is why I don't like Dollar general because they're always having excused why they want to shut down don't deal with customers until you get your s*** together I will never be back to Dollar general. We want customer service we want to be able to drive up to a store and know that they're open and you know what we need but no your customers are not important to you.

This location is very convenient. I just moved in the neighborhood as well. I do understand it's a pandemic, and also the workers are doing all they can and I truly truly appreciate what they do. I just hope that they would be able to get more workers in the store, so that people don't have to wait in line as long, with only one cashier. I truly hope that they get more workers so that things can get put up in the aisles. I grew up with dollar general, and I appreciate what the workers and management do. The one thing that I really really appreciate about the store it was very very clean and things were shelved and organized.

They have all of the things the FD and DG dont. I always end up at this store to get needed items. Stores cool, workers are cool. I am headed there now BTW. Need craft supplies. Your selection usually beats out the $199.99 Tree.

I usually love shopping at this store. Not sure why corporate leaves one clerk to handle the whole store by themselves. Homeless laying around. I walked out and left my cart due to being told I was standing in the wrong place and that " next time" i could use self checkout. Nope, i have tax exemption. Overcrowded with merchandize, i had to manuever the cart as best I could. Backwards facing...vs forward facing is what she wanted today. Never, had anyone demand that before.

I had a bad experience at DG today but I want to say up front that it was my fault. I was on a morning walk and DG was the third store I'd stopped at on my way home.As I walked in I stopped to ask if someone would like to hold my shopping bags while I shopped there. The cashier was engaged with a customer so I just lurked near the front door/counter with my shopping bags. I got impatient and just started going through the store being careful to keep my bags of previously paid for merchandise separate from the items I was putting in my cart.I was getting close to the check out and was considering looping back over to the freezer to get a really amazing looking pan pizza, when I was approached and asked for my bags. "Of course* I said, also explained that I was walking and that I had tried to leave my bags at the front door. This was maybe grunted at in reply as my bags were snatched and taken to the front counter.Slightly stunned I go to the check out and ask for my belongings, telling the cashier they can have their cart and the items in it back and I'll take my bags and go.Unfortunately it wasn't that easy because they proceeded to check both bags to make sure they didn't contain any DG merchandise. They even scanned the barcode of an item I had just purchased at Dollar Tree 2 doors down from DG. It was clearly packaged with a brand that isn't sold at DG!Ok, like I said at the beginning this whole thing is my fault and I should've been more patient and made sure they took my shopping bags before I entered the store. Lesson learned.

Pretty awesome after holiday sales I think they discount with people in mind I got some awesome deals on some jars which I paid $0.60 or I would have paid a dollar at Dollar Tree if they had them in stock which they usually don't at Dollar Tree so I call it a win..Anyway it's a really good way to get holiday decorations for next year if you go there after a holiday I went to a Family Dollar closer to where I live and they didn't even have half the markdown amount as Dollar General in my opinion both stores have their advantages don't get me wrong...I do however think Dollar General has the better sales, while Family Dollar has a better selection of merchandise...

This was one of the worst Dollar generals have been to. The employees were nice but there wasn't a whole lot on the shelves and it was pretty disorganized. There were even strange people parked in the parking not not even going in. Will make a point to not go back by here in the future. I gave it two stars because I bought myself some chicken in the biscuit 😂. Haven't had any of those in years.

When I first walked in, my first thought was to walkout. It had a terrible odor. There were things in the floor. The first 3-5 Kleenex in the box I bought had absorbed the store odor. Dollar general needs store shoppers to report how orderly stores are and how clean plus merchandise out of stock. This is not the only DG that is like this one or worse. That is why I very seldom shop DG. But the clerks were nice and helpful.

I use this store often, and have always had great service and they usually have what I need. However, today I give them 1 star and the only reason for that was because of the cashier. 1pm on Friday Nov. 2nd I didn't get her name, African American young lady, first yes I was in a rush and didn't want to be rude but before my experience was over I was indeed rude. She was holding her cell phone in her hand reading texts and when I was waiting to enter my credit card I finally asked if it was ready (waiting on her to push the button) she told me I had to wait because it wasn't ready. I explained I was in a little bit of a hurry she became more rude finally I told her maybe she should get off her phone and do the job she was there to do. That's when she said she was on the phone with her manager. I DON'T CARE WHO YOUR TALKING TO, TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER FIRST! I won't be back if she is the cashier!I

This store was recently remodeled. It's a little confusing for me because I have shopped there for several years but the layout now conforms to the other remodeled stores. The staff is very pleasant and helpful

It I should say dollar g is what we call the dollar general in Tulsa and by we I mean me baby. The dollar g is not a bad place to shop at, I like it here the help is sometime's rude but, nowaday's who is alway's nice and full of love, most are full up with something else not love. I will say they have really good price's on milk bread sliced lunch meat and honey bun's are at a really good price for me about two dollar's for ten of them it is a steal of a deal for me brother.

Dollar General ("DG") is great for buying quick, little things. The quality of the service depends on which store you're at/what employees are working at the time. The DG at 3rd and Lewis, pretty much always has a long line, and the customer service isn't too great, but the lady that, I presume, is the manager, is the one employee that isn't completely worthless. DG is perfect for you if you're needing to grab just a few random things, i.e. dog food, milk, laundry detergent, etc.

My husband and I have a large family, (meaning a bunch of little kiddos , who btw pick and choose when to utilize their home training) the staff is very helpful, they really 'know' their store. Ive never had a question that they didnt have an answer for. Ive never heard the words " I dont know" And they are very kind to my kids,one of which has speacial needs, so they're great in my book.😊🤙

Usually good discounted items from refrigerator/pantry to baby items/auto. This place at this time was going thru mgmt change. Now new mgr is installed, lol, store clean, well stocked. And Christmas items ready to purchase at deep discounts.

It was 5 stars when Jason was there not anymore...im not happy with new mgmt now it's bn in disarray since Jason n his crew left. Very bad move on Regional District Managers they're the ones who need to be replaced.
