I'm very disappointed in this $store. I bought several items off the clearance rack, and none of them ran up properly, and even with the price on the shelf, they ran up higher than the ticket listed on the shelf. So much for clearance 😕. Somebody isn't doing their job listing the product price properly

This is the 2nd time I’ve come and they’re closed just past 9pm. The store is the messiest one I’ve been too. Very unprofessional

I would give zero stars if I couldThis store is so dirty and unorganized and most of the time there is no cashier you have to use self checkout or wait in a long line, they need to hire more people so they can get that store in order, I find myself driving into Tecumseh to go to family dollar most of the time because this store is just so nasty

For the first couple of years this store was open it was great!! It was clean, well stocked, the staff was nice and things were priced correctly. Now (Dec 2022) it is one of the worst DG's in the area. Don't bother paying attention to the price on the shelf, bc you will be paying significantly more at the register. Also, don't bother grabbing a cart when you walk through the door, bc the store is such a mess that you can't push the cart down the isles. It's really hard to find what you are looking for bc things are either out of stock or messy, you literally have to dig to search for things. Oh, and the fresh produce section is almost always empty. At this point the store is just wasting money running the coolers for no reason. It's a shame that this store has gone downhill so much. It was really convenient to have this store so close to home. But due to the condition of the store, I would rather drive to Tecumseh to get what I need at Family Dollar. The only positive I have to say about this location is that the staff is relatively nice. I can imagine part of the problem is that they are short handed and can't handle all the tasks they are given.. AND they probably don't get paid enough to care. Either way, I find it hard to spend my money there anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I find it ridiculous how this dollar general fires our favorite people who have been amazing!! Then they close at 7:00 pm because they weren’t smart enough to make sure they have enough employees stupid and ridiculous!!!

I worked here in this environment, they fired three of us and never gave us the proper training. This place is toxic. The people here are rude, nasty, and very disrespectful. It’s never clean there, very unorganized. Never a bathroom for the public. Even if you try an ask for a number for corporate they tell everyone to google it. This place is not recommended especially if you are bringing children. There are proverted staff which led to people being very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional place.

First impression was this is a nice very organized dollar general store. When I was finishing up my visit I was astonished at how nice the young girl working was and that she made an effort to make small talk with me but as I was thinking to myself that this is why I like stores like this compared to big ones like Walmart who don’t care to know you the older worker came up and scolded the young worker in front of me and another customer and then told her that she was going to go over her checking scores with her. The young worker was shocked and even commented that she didn’t know they scored her on her checking speed. Luckily the scolding didn’t phase the worker to much cause as I was gathering my things she made sure to say goodbye. Shouldn’t hospitality and kindness count more than a checkers speed?

Went in & tried to purchase something that shelf price 1 thing & checkout 30% higher. Told them & they said nothing they could do. Corporate said they were no able to change. VERY LAST TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION. Will be going to another store or different $ store branch.

MOD was living the life in the office while aware one cashier was waiting on a line 7-10 deep. No excuses just didn't care. Now is the time you give the extra push, not slack off.

They have great cupon deals but this store evertime we go in and do our deal they act like we are trying to steal from them and give us attitude everytime. Seems like you would want the good word of mouth out there bit not them.

This store is very nasty, stuff always spilled everywhere and the floors never get clean. The staff is very rude and the managers never do their job but stand outside and smoke. Not a good store to recommend.

The store is very cluttered and stacked much too high on the shelves. I was looking at some items and a large, heavy candle fell off too shelf and busted my bottom lip (causing much bleeding) & knocked 1 bottom tooth loose.

My boyfriend arrived at 9:55pm to get melatonin only to find doors locked. There were other customers in the store and so my boyfriend knocked on the door. The clerk came to the door telling him that the store was closed, he showed her that it was not you at 10 o’clock. Her response was to walk away from the doors and turn off all the lights outside as well as half the lights inside the store while other customers were still inside.

It is easy to get in and get out. Most Dollar glGenerals are set up similarly and they carry the same stuff. They also have great clearance sells.

It started out good. Now nothing is priced right. Something will say 2 for 6 and end up costing $5 each when you get to the register.
