I shop here for many household items and a. Lot a groceries. The prices are good and they are so busy, they must restock everything each morning. Always fresh dairy. There are never enough items stocked, nor are there sufficient cashiers to keep the very long lines of customers checked out. It takes forever! Sometimes 20 minutes or longer. Not at all sufficient!

Just your average dollar store would be great if they could put in fresh product and meats like some other dollar store. Also the corporation should let younger high school student work. They could be a big help stocking shelf after school.

Staff is great but supplies in the store are way down..never enough cashiers or stockers to keep things stocked..have 3 registers and most of the time only 1 is in use..they need more employees to be able to keep up with the demand of products...the chemical isle is pretty much bare along with the paper isle. And has been for over 6 months.

Line at checkout was very long the whole time I was shopping. This very small town has two Dollar General stores and still they seem to be unable to stock enough merchandise to accommodate this area. Very frustrating for the elders who do not wish to drive forty miles to buy supplies. Can't wait until the new Family Dollar store opens.

There are so many good things to get there but they have a definite problem with check out. The line is often 5-10 people long. When they do open a new checker, there is no light to indicate r way to tell...people who just got to the line get over there and people waiting in line are still waiting. I carried up two large bags of cat food, stood in line through 6 people ahead of me with two of them having overflowing carts, only to be charged more than the shelf tag said. I told the (young male) checker what the shelf marker said. (they have no price checker) so he went back to look, holding up the line even more. He got back and said they had wrung up correct, to which I replied what the tag said...he argued with me loudly...but did call me Ma'am...I had to take one off because I didn't have enough cash for two. I am angry that the shelf tag was wrong or misplaced (it really doesn't matter which), I hate that I had to stand in line a LONG time with these bags, and I hate that the checker got hateful with me. We like the $5 off $25 Saturdays....except for the wait in lines too long with too few checkers. Hubs gets all of his weekly breakfast items on coupon days. I like the digital coupons too. No clipping! Just join, then enter your phone # on checkout and coupons are automatically taken off bill. Now that our grocery store has burned down, this is the only place in town to get a few groceries.

I'm glad it's there and overall it is a good place but they frequently are out of stock on too many items at any given time. Other than inventory issues their prices remain competitive for the most part.

They're the only store in town other than specialty shops. They work hard to keep up with the demand which is huge because there is no grocery store. Thank you DG employees. You've always been polite and helpful.

It's a decent dollar general. Clean an very organized. Not as much of a variety as other locations but I was still able to get everything I needed.

This place it the bomb when it comes to dollar general stores in talahina, their isnt one other dollar general store in that whole town that has better prices, service, friendly faces, ect...!When I checked out the clerk smiled and said, "thank you" and I stopped her mid sentence and said "NO Ma'am,, No, Thank you, you deserve it! And have a very pleasent and blessed day"How could I not give this place 5 stars? Truly the best doller general store in town! Literally!

Bathrooms were nasty and smelt bad. And both restrooms were out of order needs to be cleaned and not smelly and needs air freshener in both bathrooms.

Waited in line for over 15 minutes and one check out register ... only to find "#3" checker standing "quietly" by while everyone stacked in line.... something very wrong with this!!

The cahier was very rude and no smile and did not pay attention to what she was doing due to talking to her co-worker. I had to tell her that the register was waiting on her.

They have a good selection of groceries. Usually good, friendly service. Haven't encountered a bad employee in a long while.

Poor management, only 1 cashier, myself and many other customers was upset, finally after approx. waiting in line to be checked out for 25 miniutes another cashier opened another register but she was not very friendly, a good store but not ever enough cashiers.

A coworker went way above and beyond to help my mom find some charcoal. We had given up hope on grilling, but the coworker put on her cape in our time of need. I wish I knew her name. Thank you ma'am!
