They're so welcoming and friendly to me and my pitties. A lot of people tend to shy from them, but every single worker makes an effort to approach them and give them lots of love. There's always been excellent customer service and transparency when they're out of crickets for my gecko. The shopping, grooming, and vet experience is something I simply could not find when I lived in Fort Worth. I will always recommend Petco; the current staff is incredible.

Came here to get fish, got fish. Great staff, amazing choices, and spent almost 30 minutes here looking at anything but fish, not because of poor service or being lost but because I saw such a great variety for my other pets. Posting fish in it's Tank cause they're adorable

Ordered online to pick up in store. They cancelled my order with no notice. I went searching to see if it was ready as I had gotten NO COMMUNICATION since placing the order and found out it was cancelled. By then it was too late to order to have it shipped to me by the time I needed it. The next closest store is over 50 miles from me. Availability of items should be accurate when placing orders and better communication when cancelling a customer's order should be improved!

This place is great for food and supplies for dogs and cats but the "husbandry" provided for the purchasable animals is disgusting and there's an extremely limited amount of products geared toward exotics or even small mammals like hamsters and such. Staff doesn't take animal welfare concerns seriously despite the supposed pets first motto and will question you when pointing out a very clearly ill and near death animal. I hate that I have to continue to support this place but it's the only spot within 50 miles that sells certain products.

Went and got my dog groomed and looks exactly the same as before and it was $75 but anytime I take him somewhere else it’s $70 and he comes back shaven completely and looks like he was actually groomed. Left is before right is after. Don’t get me wrong he looks cleaner but I wanted him groomed I did not want him papered. $75 for almost nothing. I needed his hair gone for the summer cause he gets hot. They said he does not need a hair cut but needed to be deshedded but it doesn’t even look like they did that. It looks like they trimmed around his ears and feet.

Update: awful day, I wanted to take a gift card to show it to my mother in law to later give it as a gift for the son and the cashier was all over me telling me that I can not take the gift card! It is not that I'm stealing something, it does not have any value till I out some money on it. Really? That is not way to treat someone that just spend almost $200 in merchandise.It is not like the loving people in a cute vet but you can find everything you want here and get any service that you need for your pets. I like this stores anyway

Petco is a good company, but I can’t stand the condition of the poor fish, the betas are kept in tiny cups and most are sick. I was so devastated looking at the tanks PACKED with fish there was about 80 fish in a 10 gal and they were goldfish, not to mention one of them was a breeded chunky goldfish that are more round then normal goldie’s. they need more room than that :(. I also hope companies stop naming tiny fish tanks “betta tanks” it misleads people with no research. I do like the kindness of workers and overall company, but the fish situation has got to go, because since you love ALL animals, what about them??

I have been taking my dog to get groomed here pretty consistently and they have always done a great job and have been super nice, specifally Isabella or Chris who grooms my dog. But, one of the other groomers, JoJo, had an attitude and was mad I was waiting in there for my dog to be finished grooming. I was not rushing them in any way and was mainly looking around the store, and when I stopped to see how she was doing since she has anxiety, JoJo came out there acting irritated and said the grooming takes around 2-3 hours and that it had only been an hour and thirty minutes. She then slams the paper down in front of my face to pay at the front. JoJo was assisting my dog’s grooming since my dog can be a little difficult so she was not even the main groomer. JoJo was very disrespectful and needs to re-evaluate how she talks to customers who are not even causing a problem.

I have bought 4 fish a few days ago. Each one is a different type. We had already returned our last 4 fish that we bought a week ago and there was a huge ich breakout. Because of this it killed my spotted Raphael catfish I had for over a year. I knew it wasn't because of my fish because the only fish that was in there beforehand was my spotted Raphael and two snails. After returning them and getting the other fish a few days ago. Through the new quarantine tank for a two week period they already have ich symptoms and it hasn't been a week. I even have ich treatment in the tank. The main tank was thoroughly washed to prevent ich and they haven't been put into that tank yet so there was no way they got ich from the previous fish. The quarantine tank was set up for these fish only. Petco has a huge ich outbreak right now and is selling sick fish. Please be cautious of this!I have a picture down below of my Dalmatian Molly. The ich spots are circled in red.

I always go to Petco for everything my 2 dogs need, including the Vet too. I never have anything bad to say! Always nice and helpful. I’ve been in store, ordered online, returned items in store and it is always a good experience.

Called before I went and asked about a cough medicine and was told I couldn't get without going to the vet. Called other places that said they were out so called petco back and was told yes they had some and quoted me a price. When I got there it was 2 dollars higher than the quoted price.

We go to Vetco here. They take really good care of him. When he is super anxious they have a spray that can calm cats down so they spray it on his towel that I bring him in with and he is so calm. They have helped him with his UTIs. I think they are reasonably priced for vet care. They also take CareCredit and they have a Petco card you can also apply for. I use the CareCredit to pay for all his vet bills which helps pay it out. He is super calm in the photos that I have attached. You can also buy the calming spray in Petco. I think it was like 30 bucks. But it's worth it. I will keep going back.

Staff has no knowledge of the pets they sell, no knowledge of the products they sell, or where items are in the store. Was told an item was not sold there, found the item on your shelf, staff then said it does not work for saltwater, even though the bottle states for freshwater AND saltwater. Poor customer service. Plus we have bough fish there on 3 occasions, they all died. Tank water always tested good. Staff had no explination and argued to offer a refund stating it was our fault.Will never reccomend this store to anybody

Never had a bad experience with Petco before. Bought four fish last weekend and they all died within a week. Killing my birthday present that I had in there for two months. Lucky for me I had a really nice manager there that replaced my fish and I am so happy with what I walked out with. Thank you to the manager Chris for all your help. I hope your bosses see that they have a really good employee.

The staff is always helpful and friendly and the store is easy to navigate and find what you're looking for.

Took out dog there a few months ago for a groom and was great. Took him back last week and all I think they did was trim a very small amount and shampooed. He wasn't deshedding. When I pay top price I expect a quality job. Paid $132. Won't be going back

Bought a bunch of fish for their buy 3 get a 4th free. The lady that gave me the fish after i bought them told me good luck. At first i thought she was being nice because I bought 6 new fish to take home. So now that is messed up to willing know they are sick and getting rid of them. Can confirm that they are getting rid of them because all of the fish are sick. They have columnaris. Which is a bacteria infection. I'm mainly just sad that my school of 8 $10 fish are slowly dying. All I can say is I will never buy fish from there and you shouldn't either.

Please go elsewhere if needing veterinary assistance. They’re ridiculously expensive and tried adding unnecessary things to the bill just to have our cat neutered. Also lied about a discount for our first time coming there. Unprofessional.

if i could leave 0 i would!!!!! they are the absolute worst petco i’ve ever been to. the live animals are not properly cared for. there are DEAD fish floating through the entire fish section. they never restock anything they run out of, the employees will ignore your concerns and questions, if you order online for pickup in store, you will NEVER EVER get everything you ordered. things will be left out with no explanation unless you specifically go back in and question it and even then, they just shrug it off and you leave without what you ordered (but of course, they keep the money). the employees will deliberately mislead customers on their stock and what is available. i will be driving to edmond to go to the pet smart there now because i do not trust this petco to have the proper resources and care for my fur baby. genuinely save your time and money and do not go here.

Full disclosure: we don't have pets. My kids love going and seeing the birds, fish, turtles, mice, lizards, etc. The employees are always so friendly and answer any questions we have.
