This restaurant is VERY dirty. There were flies all over the place, grime and food splatter all over the walls, a/c vents caked in years of dust, the service was beyond slow, and the employees had no interest in interacting with us once the food was hastily dropped off - 30 minutes after we ordered three burgers, a coney, and a couple of sides.Multiple tables that came in long after us had their orders dropped off before us. Fairly sure the kitchen just forgot it order until we asked about it 25 minutes after we ordered.Tastee Freez locations have always been a family favorite, but we won't be back to this one.

Old home town fast food. Fresh never frozen beef, ground in store. Side items cooked to order.. and the ice cream is a must have! Stop by and grab a freeze or flavor burst.. you won’t be disappointed! *since they tend to get super busy might have to wait a few extra minutes. But it’s worth the wait.* very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you’re in Skiatook!

About a month ago my husband a d went in for a burger and fries. We ordered our food sat down, got our food then noticed a pretty good sized roach crawling by the register on the wall. 3 days ago we walked in because I wanted fries. Right in front of us was an employee with a huge box of frozen fries using his bare hands to grab the fries to place them in a plastic baggy. We immediately walked out. I'm finished with the freeze!

Arrived at 15 until close (8:46pm) and the grill was CLEAN! they said “we can make you ice cream the kitchen is closed” and they are not “Tastee Freeze” they are “The Freeze” but that honestly would not bother me because I love a hometown favorite! We were passing through buying a pc of construction equipment and it sounded Great so we went 15 minutes out of the way to be turned away.

If you go in the day, it’s okay. IN THE EVENING NOTHING IS EVER RIGHT. we have gave them chance after chance and EVERY SINGLE TIME these young kids never get the order right. Stuff is made wrong, stuff is missing. I want to support local businesses but this one makes it so hard when every time we have to go back in to get our stuff right or get home and be disappointed. PLEASE PLEASE do better!!!

Stopped on way home and ordered a jumbo cheeseburger with fried pickles and mushrooms. When I opened the bag the burger was so greasy I could not pick it up. The bread was broken and just fell apart. It looks like it was sitting somewhere because it was cold. I tried to eat it but it just didn't taste right. The mushrooms were ok but certainly not fresh as the breading was very soft. The fried pickles were also just ok, as they were soft as well. I spent 21 dollars, but in my opinion it is not worth the money. I may sound harsh, but I think you should at least receive food that is fresh for what it being charged.

Oh what a delightful trip back to the way things used to be! Food hot and fresh made to order. They made me my first cookies and cream malt with extra malt.....it hit the spot. The cheeseburger was fine and the crispy fries were good too. For just about what you'd pay at McDonald's, you'll get a much better experience and feel good that you've helped the little guy! Strongly Recommend!

Horrible service, several times while they pass food to friends and family I grew up here and know what they are doing.I have waited in the drive in for over 30 min Everytime I come here and yes even walking in it's a wait of 15 min to 30 Will never go back. Tonight they spit in our food when I questioned her. DO NOT EAT HERE

The Freeze is everything I loved about my childhood. I always looked forward to special trips to Tasty Freeze, and this place has been frozen in time, right down to the old-school menu board. It is still as good as I remember.The cheeseburgers are my favorite, and the fried pickles are pretty awesome, with just a touch of spiciness. I love their ice cream and shakes with all the varieties of add-ins. The limeade is true perfection and tastes like grandma's. The sweet tea tastes fresh brewed. I'm not as crazy about the French fries--they always seem a little sad, soggy, and undersalted.The Freeze often has a line out into the road, and I understand why. When something is right, don't change it.

I had the jumbo burger which is actually a normal size. My wife got a regular burger and it looked like a regular burger from McDonald’s only it tasted much better-as well as the jumbo burger. I only bring this point up for reference purposes of potential customers. The tots and curly fries were also fresh and very good. We topped it off with regular soft serve ice cream 🍦It was better than most others. Obviously, everyone has something different that they look for in all of these items. What works well for some doesn’t work for others. However, it was all good enough to bring me back from out of town to repeat the experience. One more important side note: In today’s new world of lame experiences that one can have eating out, this place was fully staffed,fully alert and friendly. It was very refreshing.

I can’t rate the food because I didn’t get any, placed my order in the drive thru. Paid in full with a tip, pulled around to the east side and waited, the vehicle already there got their food, the Ford in front of me got his, the hummer behind me got his his, two others got theirs, a girl come out and told me I was next, nope, 25+ minutes passed. I go inside and got some excuse a printer or something is not working, How the hell did everyone else get food. 1 jumbo double with cheese, mustard pickle onions only, fry and medium Diet Pepsi. How fricking difficult was that. Offered me a refund, didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted the food or not. Not a happy customer, never again will I think, gee I hadn’t eaten there in awhile, I oughta stop and place an order, each one of them in there should be made to read this. Terrible terrible service. DUH. I was so aggravated I didn’t use the restroom while I was in there, I was fixin to pee in your parking lot,Sincerely Lauren

Nashville hot chicken sandwich is outstanding. One of the few places that serves a hot bbq sauce that actually is *hot* in my experience. I like food that bites back and this is it! Whoever is on the fryer knows their business too...comes out crispy and hot without being burnt or over darkened from old oil. Come in for a dipped cone if you don't mind it being a bit messy. I usually get their coconut creme pie freeze though...hard to find flavor in a lot of places and served in a cup for a clean and portable dessert option.

New to the area and have been here several times for the ice cream. So today I thought I would try their hamburgers. Ordered the jumbo combo. I have to admit I was a little more than disappointed when my order arrived. This thing was a single Patty burger about the size of a Quarter Ponder. I would have hated to see what a regular size Burger look like. I guess I was expecting something actually jumbo-sized. I couldn't really tell you what the burger itself tasted like because they poured the mustard on heavy. I guess I'll just stick to the ice cream from here.

I love to come here and eat every now and then because I live over 30 min away, but every time I go in to order it seems like they just forget you’re there. I made eye contact with one of the employees and still ended up standing at the register for about 7 minutes just waiting. The food took about 20 minutes maybe a little longer, and I spent the majority of the time just staring out the window waiting. Only go in the daytime because these kids at night aren’t in a hurry to do anything :)

Always love this place! Especially the ice cream. Courteous, efficient n prompt! Haven't been inside in years due to the hassle with my own senior n physical disabilities. But I'm sure it's just as pleasant as ever! I live in Hominy n try to stop by when I come thru Skiatook. What a nice little city it's become. Thank you, Tastee Freeze!Dietary restrictions: Diabetic. This place has the best milkshakes, but the food can be disappointing. My brother got corn dogs and they were clearly state fair brand corn dogs. The restaurant is usually full of screaming kids. The staff can be rude. The drive thru lady just kinda stared at us. No thank yous or have a good day or anything. I wouldn't come here for food, just milkshakes.
