Horrible experience with this location and the manager Cheryl. We waited almost 30 minutes for our meal and they forgot our sides and gave us half old fish. We called that night and spoke to Cheryl. She put us down for a replacement and everything seemed fine. Fast forward a few weeks (we are moving up here from out of state and slowly transitioning), I called to see if I could still come pick up my replacement. The gentleman on the phone says I have 2 sides but no replacement for the fish. He stated he would contact Cheryl and see what happened. I call back and he says he has what's in the system but I can call Cheryl to discuss the fish. So okay, I call Cheryl. She asked how many pieces of fish then declined saying she would never replace that and what she was willing to replace is in the system. I responded with the fact that I was confused and there must have been some kind of misunderstanding. We talk in circles because she basically is unwilling to replace the things THEY messed up and forgot. I asked her if that meant that I'm driving over 30 minutes away for sides and that is all? Why couldn't they have just gotten it right or let me know that night so I could be issued a refund? I told her I'd at least like to get part of my money back then at this point and she told me she can't refund me. Okay, so does this mean I can't do anything and call corporate? She gets snarky and tells me "Well we don't have a corporate number but if you find one by all means go ahead". Are serious? Okay, so at this point I ask who the store owner is. She says Rick and his last name. I asked for his information and she responds with it's at the bottom of the receipt. I asked nicely if she could give me info again and she just proceeds to keep yapping over me. Forget it. I found it myself and contacted him. I only asked her if she could give me his info because at the time I was driving and my receipt was at our new house at that moment. Horrible manager, Horrible customer service. I hope they make this right.

My mother and I stopped by to get a little something before her mammogram appointment. We ordered some mozzarella sticks and jalapeno mini poppers. The person taking the orders through the drive-thru was rude and completely unprofessional from the get-go from taking my order to giving us our food. We get to the window and she hangs me our order no thank you for coming nothing. I checked my order to make sure we got everything but we didn't get our sauce so I tapped my horn and but nobody came to the window so I tapped on the window and without saying anything the woman opened the window the throw out one sauce at me that hit my truck she quickly grabbed another one not apologizing or anything and shut the window in my face. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED OR DISRESPECTED AS A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT AT ANY FOOD PLACE. this was also our first time to this place we definitely won't be back. I have and still am in customer service I deal face to face with customers every day at my job and would never treat anyone that way.What happened was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

Had a 25 piece order family meal. Got home and there were only 20 pieces. Made a phone call to correct the problem and that's when the issues started. Don't know where you got the manager from but she needs lessons on how to deal with upset customers. She asked for the receipt # and then told me that I had gotten what I had paid for. I told her no there was only 20 in the order then things went to worse, she kept overtalking me and wouldn't listen to anything I was saying. She accused me of threatening her and stated that there wasn't anyone in charge above her. We will see a out that. She took my name and said I could come by and pick up the missing pieces, then rudely hung up on me. I drive 30 minutes one way for the worst customer service I've ever had. After the horrible experience with the manager on the phone I have no desire to ever frequent that establishment again. Stick to Chick-fil-A

I always eat at the ones in Texas and love them and they are always clean.This one in Shawnee Oklahoma was filthy and the prices are way higher 7 chicken strips 16.50 and a tea and roll. Hopefully the health department knows about this place and shuts the doors.

I usually don't leave reviews, but the servicereceived let me unimpressed. In Shawnee today and had receipt from 3-8-2024, where Chicken Express neglected to give me my 2 coleslaw. I called immediately after I got home and no one answered. I continued to make several more calls with same result. Now how ami the custo.er responsible for not receiving my coleslaw or employees or management not answering phones report my missing coleslaws. I don't get paid to keep calling because someone didn't do their job right in the first place. I even tried calling there phone today with the same result no answer. What kind of a show are they running. Oh, and have to say it's been 3 weeks yes, but I live in another town and only make select trips to Shawnee. I'm very uni.pressed by the employees, management and Owner of Chicken Express. In the future I will choose to eat anywhere, but Chicken Express. They wait time to receive food is whole other issue. My issue was left Unresolved. What ever happened to good customer service!!!!😭

Used to come here all the time because not only is the food delicious the staff were super nice too. Well looks like the staff have been swapped out and you don't even get a reply when you say thank you before they just shut the window in your face and our chicken strips were so over cooked we couldn't even chew the chicken. With our lack of decent food places in Shawnee it is pretty disappointing. even more so when the service took such a drastic change.

I can NOT get over how overpriced this place is now. 16$ for a tender snack pack?? I know inflation is bad, but that's unacceptable.Oh, 16$ for what was supposed to be chicken, a roll, gravy and mashed potatoes. Thanks for skimping out on me and giving me literally a teaspoon of mashed potatoes. What a joke.

Ever since they have been open the online menu does not reflect the same prices as the restaurant. Which is false advertising in my opinion. They lure you in with reasonable prices in hopes you won't pay attention to the ridiculous price you end up with.

Chicken was hot and served very quickly. The mashed potatoes were better than most fast food places. Green beans also were better than most. Chicken tasted very good, but was somewhat greasy, as fried chicken tends to be. Only downside was the door on the south side of the restaurant. It appears to be an entrance but it opens into the kitchen and is for employees only as a small sign says. There is no sidewalk to the main entrance on the east side from that area so customers parking on the south side are forced to walk in the drive-thru to get to the entrance. While eating, I saw that EVERY customer who parked in the south parking spots tried to enter the employee only door. Poor planning, but it doesn't change the fact that the food was good.Parking: Parking can be a little crowded at busy times like Sunday around noon.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can use north or east door.

The spicy chicken strip at this location were delicious, but packed with sodium. The fries were good, but not exceptional. The biscuits were flaky, not dried out, and were tastier than KFC. The restaurant was clean enough to make the dining area adequate. The spicy chicken strip were perhaps the best that I have tried. If you are going to try them I'd recommend drinking plenty of water before and after and you should be fine. The employees were friendly and professional providing good customer service.

My first visit to this restaurant. I'll be returning.Had the fish it was worth it.Fried pies are like the old McDonald's kind.Mac and cheese are disgusting (at least the ones I had was made with tea water I don't like straight tea).Jordan was the cashier and he was extremely helpful.The sitting area was clean, floors not slippery (common in places that fries a lot of food).Outside of business clean.Lots of parking spaces.They cook your order on the fish so you get fresh instead of set under a heat lamp.

Got home with the wrong food and had to turn around and go back cause I spent 21 dollars on my whole meal which was just a 4 piece chicken and kids meal and I got a 2 piece fish meal. I returned to establishment and gave them the food back and a gentleman In front of me I’m assuming was his food cause he was waiting on it I heard the worker say “sir did you get the 2 piece fish” that food had made it to my home and my fingers touched his food at my home so I would recommend to avoid this place at all cost. I will not be returning I will take the extra drive down to chick fil a for my chicken from now on!

Food is always good, however management has decided each customer only gets 2 packets of serendipity seasoning, 11 pieces of chicken only 2 packets, sorry that's lame, and employees are made to enforce it , I won't eat it without it , Golden Chick, and popeyes here I come. They lost my business with they're inability to source other seasoning company's, shame on chicken express that's weak.

I pulled into the drive thru at 9:15 and placed my order. Pulled up and paid. 9:40 I wave at the cashier, she gives me a finger wave to wait. Then explained they are closing soon. You mean 10pm?? You took my order and money at 9:15. You can't just not make my food now. What the...Eventually a 3rd person picked up my chilling food off a counter and swung it out the window, seemingly irritated that I dare order food an hour before you close! Insanely rude, bad bad customer service. I won't make the mistake of going back.

Got the oder wrong. Took the manger 2xs to get it right then didn’t want to make the fish we had ordered “oh your fish will take 8min do you still want it?” Is what the manger asked. Then voided for the order over 3.00 and finally got it right charging us more of course. And that’s fine but customer service terrible.

6 pm Monday March 13th.My family and I have been eating here since it opened in Shawnee. This is the 1st time I have ever had poor service, its not only your establishment. Customer service is declining at most fast food places. It took over 15 minutes to get our food with no crowd or drive thru congestion. The customer service was awful, the employee never smiled or greeted me and i could hear her as her voice was really soft then she forgot my drink. We will continue to eat there hopefully with better service we love the food. Best of luck..
