This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with in my life. Every single time I go there is an issue or delay. The drive-thru window hasn't been open the last three times I have showed up, in different months. Twice I have gotten calls my prescription is ready, show up four hours later and they say they had an issue overriding in their own system going from generic, which they are always out of stock of, to name brand. So I always have to pay an arm and a leg for the name brand. Last time I showed up and the pharmacist didn't know they were on the schedule so I had to wait a couple hours for them to get to work and open the pharmacy. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever interacted with, there is never a smooth transaction.

Came in last week at 750 already closed and locked down asked if they were closing early cashier said no we closed at normal we close at 8 everyday and I said it's only 750 though and got told oh well we're closed already then have to battle to get any of my prescriptions they have put in that I had insurance that I didn't so I couldn't get any meds at all for like a month because my insurance wanted the info of the insurance that I did not have worst pharmacy if ever been to but it's the only one I have close to me that I can use

Miserable experience with pharmacy. I suggest people go to Walgreens or go to Tulsa and find a competitor or go to Walmart or go wherever in the free world they can to avoid Sand Springs CVS. The corporate policies are awful and the pharmacy is worthless.

Magically my medication has disappeared. The only thing CVS has done his blame the urgent care. The urgent care tells me everything is fine. Let’s not even talk about the fact that the guy at the window stole my ID. I hope those two or three days of painkillers were worth it for you. I wasn’t able to sleep all weekend. I’ve got my lawyer. We will see you soon!! Since all I can do is continue updating this review for this absolute abhorrent CVS. They get sent over three prescriptions for after my surgery and magically they only have one. If you guys can’t get simple things like prescriptions, right you seriously need to consider a job change. Awful humans, horrendous, awful people.

Every single time I come to this pharmacy, it's a nightmare. I have to wait a half hour or more, even if the prescription was called in literally hours, let me repeat that, HOURS ahead of time. No other pharmacy in the area has these issues. Being conveniently located, absolutely doesn't mean they're convenient. When you mention these issues to anyone working there, they couldn't care less what your problem is.

The pharmacy is completely unorganized. Went to pick up my wife's meds. The Pharmacist told a customer she had to take phone calls and they were short staffed. She left and there we waited. One customer in front of me left and went to the drive thru for better and faster service.In the meantime, another line of customers starts forming in an adjacent aisle for the pharmacy. I Waited and I finally gave up because I did not want to be confrontational with the other line or tell them I was already in line (marked with distancing COVID tape markers).Went to the front to make small purchases. No cashier. On to Walmart with my pharmacy and my meds. I will have a conversation with my wife to tranfer pharmacies.Perhaps Chick-fil-a should teach CVS in Sand Springs how to run a drive-through?

I’m so sad to give this review but after my experiences the last year, it had to be done. I’ve gone to this location for about ten years. Recently, I’ve been dealing with a virus that has me coughing and I can’t breathe well. They got the prescription yesterday and the cough syrup I needed never got ordered. So I’ll have to wait until Monday. I’m infuriated. My doctor wants an update on Monday but I’ll still be sick because it was never ordered. The script was sent yesterday afternoon and had it gotten ordered, I would’ve been able to take it this weekend.10/20/23-pharmacy closed due to a pharmacy shortage. Really sucks that I couldn’t pick up my medication on the way out of town.

Staff said there was a power surge and to come back in 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that the system said is ready. Waited an hour and came back. They were laughing at each other and had a sign posted saying to come back in 30 minutes. Meanwhile you can see them working on the computer. So I waited because maybe they forgot to take the sign down.. nope they are sending people away and laughing. If you’re trying to convince people that the system is down, try not having your computer where they can see and start laughing with each other when you see people pull up and the automated response come on. Very unprofessional.

I called in today to check if they carried a certain medication produced by a certain manufacturer. The technician was incredibly incompetent and kept saying, “we just have the normal one”. What does that even mean? Then I asked if she could describe the tablet or tell me who the manufacturer was and she couldn’t even do that! I’ve noticed this is an ongoing trend with retail pharmacies. They hire the most unprofessional, unskilled people they can find. Patients are on medication for a reason. It can be life or death. No one wants to call in and speak to someone who is nonchalant, lacking empathy and simple people skills, and also ignorant at their job.

I had a great shopping trip today at cvs in sand springs ok. I love the savings and the good customer service with Donna the manager. The store is clean and so organized. All the clerks are knowledgeable. Today Aaliyah helped me . She was very courteous. I never go in Walmart anymore. Thank you Donna for having a good staff and all your hard work.

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Constantly messaging saying prescriptions are ready and when we drive 15 minutes to get it, they say it isn’t available. So very unprofessional! Whoever runs this pharmacy needs step down and let someone else come in and fix these issues. Why our insurance company requires us to use CVS I will never understand. This review is not based on a one or two time experience, but a TWO YEAR experience every time they fill prescriptions.

This is without a doubt the most difficult pharmacy I have ever have had to deal with. When I received my prescription from another pharmacy the drug manufacturer had changed. The doctor sent in another to this business. The pharmacy manager had difficulty with it and when I tried to explain she kept interrupting. Extremely frustrating and no help at all. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would because that's how many prescriptions they were able to fill for me. My doctor ordered the script and just because CVS machines went down, they said I'd have to bring in a written copy of the script. My doctor's office was closed with no way of resolving this issue. I didnt get my meds and I suffered. Do not do business here.

I took a friend to urgent care across the street from this pharmacy. The service we received at this cvs pharmacy was negligent and fowl. We needed the name of the physician that had called in the prescription from urgent care. The pharmacist gave me a name that the urgent care had never even heard of. I think the male pharmacist was purposely trying to keep us from accessing healthcare because of his homophobia. He was much worse than unhelpful. Do not go here.

Highly recommend going elsewhere. Several mistakes over the years I've used their services. Recently they gave me an old prescription that should have been inactivated a year ago. I paid for 90 days, and didn't realize until it was time to take the prescription that they had given me the wrong one. I asked for a refund and was denied by the pharmacy manager because she could not resale the script b/c I've had weeks before I realized the mistake. She said, sometimes I can make exceptions if it's only been a few days. So, CVS, you take scripts from people who bring them back and resale them? That's highly disturbing. Update: I called the main CVS line. They said the district manager would be calling me to issue a refund within 48 hours. That was 2 weeks ago-ish. Left another message for CVS to call me back.

This isn’t one of those bad reviews written in anger after one bad experience. I’ve used this pharmacy (because of its convenient location and hours) for a few years. I’ve had so many issues filling prescriptions and it’s difficult to talk to a human being when necessary. Two stars instead of one because at least they are friendly as they explain something went wrong.

This place makes me suffer more when I am sick. I give them 5 hours after leaving dr office for them to fill it. They can tell by the prescription its "triage" status, like a couple of inhalers is most likely for someone struggling to breathe. They dont even acknowledge the need to fill it until I go up there and ask for it. Then they say 30 mins. So I have to keep getting out while I am sick? Incredible!

DO NOT GO HERE! I am pregnant and on a medication I absolutely need, and they do not care. They first said they could fill my medication on the 30th and now it’s the 31st. They pharmacy tech said she had faxed over my prior authorization but my doctor never got it, until I took time away from my job to call them to make sure they had the correct number and suddenly, my doctor has the form. They are afraid to admit when they make a mistake, so they just lie to you instead. I will not be sending any RX here after this. They totally jacked it up last month as well. I asked if I could buy a few to get me through since I’ve been without for 2 days while pregnant. They say I can’t even buy them until tomorrow! I’ve never heard of that, especially since it’s been longer than 30 days since I had my last refill. Read the reviews and DO NOT GO HERE!

You have to opt out of texts all together if you don’t want them texting you with advertisements. I had even been getting advertisement texts on a sunday. I spent 45 min on the phone trying to get that removed. It’s all or nothing. So I will have nothing .

They are the absolute slowest pharmacy in the business.-call in or app refills can be done week in advance. Still not ready even after you receive correspondence from this #CVS stating they’re ready for pick up.-employees in pharmacy area constantly stating there is 25-70 people ahead of you-they remind you they’re understaffed-they say law states they take breaks so that’s why they’re behindJust to name a few.Fact is. I’m sorry they’re understaffed. I agree they need breaks. But in reality, that’s not my problem.I have 10 prescriptions that I fill with you every month. I brought YOU my business. I can alleviate you being over worked by taking my money somewhere else if that helps?

Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. Prescriptions are never ready on time, and when I asked why it wasn't ready on my 3rd attempt, they said they were a full week behind on filling. Yikes. They said they were open until 9:00, so I said okay, I'll just come back later when you're hopefully not so busy. I went by again at 7:45, and the drive through was closed. They didn't bother to tell me that they closed the drive through early, and I have a baby sleeping in the carseat, so I can't just "run in." So.. I still don't have my meds. As busy as they are, why don't they have more staff? Is it a CVS corporate thing? Next issue: they're out of stock of my med and "can't order it because their pharmacist is new." Um. It would be nice if they could let me know! Instead, it's Friday night, the doctor's office is closed until Monday, and I'm out of my meds. Lovely.

This cvs has the most unfriendly pharmacy staff. In addition, their pharmacists lack the knowledge necessary to assist patrons with questions. My latest frustrating experience has prompted me to switch to a different pharmacy. I have been on the waitlist for the Shingrex vaccine since December 10th. The pharmacy staff tells me they have no way of knowing where I am on the wait list or how much longer the wait will be. In fact she asked me if I was sure I wanted to receive the vaccine since I’m not old enough. Not that it is any of her business but my dr wrote me a script for it for a reason and that’s between me and my dr. So rude and unprofessional.

Worst staff ever. So sick of the nose rings, cat ears and dread locks that the staff wears there. How are you ever going to be taken seriously? Text me and I drive 15 miles to pickup prescriptions that are not ready. Got my prescription mixed up with someone from New Hampshire. I'm tired of wasting my time at this store. Time to find someplace that is professional. Get some real help!

They called and said my 80 old grandmother's prescriptions were ready. She went to them. At the window they 1 of 4 was ready rest will done 20 minutes. She returned over 20 minutes later and they still were not ready. She had double pneumonia and bronchitis this is unacceptable behavior. Lying to customers go to spoon drug they treat you right and are fast
