There seems to be a high turnover of employees in the Purcell store. Their employees I have encountered have been very willing to help, however, they just haven’t been trained well through no fault of their own. I had been trying to use Walgreens pharmacy for all of my prescriptions but it was a nightmare. No consistency in how things were handled and it got to be too much of a hassle each and every time I had refills or new scripts. I had to move all of my prescriptions. Then I start having trouble ordering merchandise online to be picked up and when I get to the store I’ve been charged full price instead of sale price that is listed online. The last employee that helped me was Carime and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond to get things straightened out. She is the reason I will not completely give up on the Purcell store just yet. I do hope for the sake of all of their customers and employees that management starts doing a better job of training employees in the store and pharmacy in the future. Maybe then they will have better luck retaining their employees.

Tried to be reasonable and patient with them at the pharmacy. It's hard to get straight answers on when script will be ready. Each time it takes approximately 7-15 days from the time the Dr sends the script over. The walgreens app shows its processing. I have made the switch to Walmart pharmacy, it's hard for me to believe that a Walmart pharmacy provides better customer service and quickly gets me the medicine I am prescribed.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacy I have ever used! No one is ever working. 80% of the time they are out of prescriptions! Not professional at all!!! I will be taking my business elsewhere!

Late 2021 I was having my fourth miscarriage and had to pick up mifepristone because my body was hanging on to baby still. The tech wouldn’t give me the meds without me talking to the pharmacist. Who then said ‘you know you can’t take this if you’re pregnant, right?’ Why I had to take that medication was already hard enough. Your opinions or commentary about what a DOCTOR prescribed me- unnecessary. Then a few months ago I needed a very strong medication for an issue I was dealing with- the pharmacist wouldn’t fill the medicine at first because they didn’t understand the dose- it isn’t your business what my doctor and I speak about nor is it your business why I need it. I shouldn’t have had to tell you what it was treating to get it filled. Ridiculous.

They do not have enough help. They tell you that your prescription is ready when you get there it is not. I am on day 2 trying to get my prescriptions. I have been here 3 times today because of the line. I will be looking for alternative in Purcell

I have given the Purcell location chance after chance!! Today I have finally had enough! The pharmacy staff are so rude and if you get rude back then you are the one in the wrong! It’s seriously ridiculous how rude those people are to customers! I will never in my life go back to that location!! If I could give them 0 stars I would but unfortunately I can’t.

The workers are nice, but they are never prepared. I'll get an automated text from the location for a ready prescription, and later that same day I'll be told it wasn't in stock, wasn't completely filled, or was sitting on the shelf for more than a week so they cancelled it. Then, she will tell me to drive around the building and get back in line so she can go grab it instead of me waiting at the window.Also, don't tell the pharmacist you don't have insurance or you will be snubbed.

Called asked if they had the medication I needed was told they did. Dropped of script and they had medication came back-up in like thirty minutes and was told they were working on it. Then in another 30 minutes went back and they don't have my medication and I go to another pharmcy to fill and they charged my insurance so now I am waiting again. If you can't fill it don't charge me. I will never use them again plus they were rude!!

Took my wife to Urgent care in Norman this morning. Urgent care sent prescriptions to Purcell Walgreens. Tried calling to get status of my wife’s medicine and was cut off after a long wait. Called back for a longer wait with a person asking if I could hold but then they hung up before I could answer. Today is Monday and it seems since closing on Sunday all pharmacists are WAY too busy. My wife is very sick and needs her medication! Looks like we need to change pharmacies.

We made appointments on the phone for 2 shot, flu and pneumonia for myself and my wife. We got there on time we went to the window to sign up the lady couldn't find it the 1st time on computer she only found my wife. Then she said well we can give her the flu shot but we can't give her the Pneumonia shot. The pharmacist has to give you the pneumonia shot and she's way too busy and I can only find your wife so I can't give you your shots. What a ZOO

Worst place I’ve ever done business! Was told meds would be ready at 6 o’clock and it was only 4:30 PM, came back 10 till 6 and said it would be another hour and then said it would not be filled today and we live 45 minutes away & pharmacist tech said she never said it would be ready at 6 o’clock, totally lied to us! Asked for district manager phone number and wouldn’t give it to us, said they’re not allowed to give managers phone numbers out , due to she didn’t want a claim complaint filed against her for lack of doing their job, always saying they’re shorthanded & happens Every time we have been there for the last four months! My advice, don’t do business with purcell Walgreens

I recently moved close by to this Walgreens and been here a few times to get medicine filled and just went to get my prescription before they closed at 7pm and I asked a simple question the pharmacy technician put her hand up to me and told me to calm down.I will not be getting my medicine filled here anymore this is the WORST Walgreens I've been to either my meds aren't ready when the app tells me they are and I have to wait a hour or it takes all day for them to fill a simple prescription or the pharmacy techs are very, very rude. I'm done with this Walgreens.

Thank you is all I can say. My meds were going to cost me over $700 and the lovely technician was able to help me and got it down to $47!!!! I have used this pharmacy for years and will always come back they care so much they knew I couldn’t afford to pay for my medication and found a way to make it so much cheaper for me thank you thank you thank you

Walgreens in Purcell was really good. Until another pharmacist took over and implied CVS rules after I used this pharmacy over a year. The new pharmacist off green street in Purcell had are prescriptions all messed up. Dont recommend

I went to the drive thru at Walgreens in Purcell, OK to pick up a prescription that I needed.1) I waited for 13 minutes in drive thru due to fact car in front of me was parked waiting on prescription.2) I have always been asked to come back in about 15 mins so they can get the other customers behind me. Yes there was one car behind me and they drove off3) I called and asked them to have customer to move, Matt said pharmacist was almost done give it a minute. I waited 2 minutes for that.4) I got up to the window waited a minute no one came honked horn for someone to come, Matt came to window and I told him the name and also said they should have people drive and come back so other people can pick up their medicines to where Matt said “ well we were having problems in here............so” that was it no apology, he had an I don’t Care attitude. That is not good customer service.5) I got home called the Pharmacy Manager Lance. He said he did not want the customer to leave because they were having trouble with the insurance. I said you could have asked him to come in and Lance said most complaints they hear is Customers don’t want to come in and get mad if they are asked to. I told Lance I have been asked to come in before then Lance says “you know what it is like then” no I do not I have never had a problem with it figured it was just part of it especially insurance issues. Needless to say I was not satisfied by talking with him. I told him thank you and hung up. Then I called back to get his last name and he told me I did not need his last name so I’m sure you can get it.I personally think if they are new customers they should have to go in so they can handle their business and the pharmacist can do their talks with them. The drive thru is supposed to be a convenience for a quick pick up. This not the first time this has happened. I have drove off multiple times because other customers don’t want to drive off and come back. The service is slow and the young man Matt is rude.I have been doing my business with Walgreens in Purcell for 9 years. I am not even a complainer but this whole incident today bothered me because of both Matt and Lance’s “I don’t care attitude” I would literally hate taking my business elsewhere but will if I continue to have problems. As I have said before this is not the first time this has happened. Been quite a few times in the past year I’m not happy about it at all.Sincerely,Tammie

waited yesterday with my 2 year old for 40 minutes, just to be told i couldnt fill my script till today. I called today to be sure it would be ready because i have a migraine on top of the 40 minute drive back to Purcell, just to be asked dumb questions and told they lost my papers i left with them that my DR gave me. See i dont use Walgreens anymore and havent in around 6 years because they treat people on pain meds like addicts and are rude and condescending. i have Lupus and am in excrutiating pain daily. i would NEVER have taken my prescription to them but i dont have insurance and my PA was trying to help me find the lowest cost so she printed me some info on GoodRX with about a $40 price difference than my normal pharmacy so yeah i came to Walgreens but NEVER again!

The pharmacy is a joke. They've made my fiance wait until the next day on his prescription he takes 5 times daily- therfore making him get sick. Use this pharmacy with caution!

Definitely don’t even waste your time. We waited 45 minutes as told. When we came back we were told that they had tried to call my phone, I didn’t have any missed calls on my phone. They told me that I needed to do a little bit of “leg work” and call my insurance company myself to get things “situated”. First off, I’m a nurse, by no means do I ever tell a patient or customer to call insurance before I have tried to call insurance. FYI, this is call 5 star customer service. Second, don’t you ever try and tell someone that they need to drive else where until things are resolved. If anything you should be helping these customers figure this stuff out. This pharmacy for damn sure will not survive in small town Purcell OK. My business will go to United or Turners with Matt. Walgreens can shut down for all I care. If I could put a zero star I would.

I don't how this Walgreens has 3.5 stars. They have the most rudes ladies in the pharmacy department. We were very excited when it first open but every time we pick up our meds something is wrong. We sure miss Chris & Rhonda. We will no longer get our meds here.

Refused to honor the goodrx coupons on multiple occasions and multiple meds which they had honored in the past. the pharmacist and staff are very rude. Done business With Walgreens for 30+ years and due to this store I will never do business with them again

I got the hvp shot and the young man who gave me it stabbed me with the needle! I happen to have a extreme fear of needles. I will never let him touch me again. But the young lady who gave me my tetnis shot,Was very gentle I was happy with her.

I get my pills refilled here every month and its so good and the stuff inside is great for if you have friends over and wanna get some quick snacks also there’s fidget toys pop its etc.great great great store the other people just need to be patient

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Wish I could give less stars but I have to pick at lest one star... the most rudest people, asked if there was any more laundry soap that was on sale was told no we are out asked for a rain check they said they won't be doing no raincheck for sale items then noticed I left wallet as it was being brought up to the store I sat there watched 2 employees check each other out each with 3 bottles of the soap I asked for.. it was fine they got to live to but the rejection of my rain checks made me upset after seeing that, then she. The first cashier checked out the other worker she put her coupons back in the bag she used for some items she had,,,, then she paid turned to the two girls behind her....some friends I'm guessing... and they walked out with 2 cases of water,, witch i never seen rang up,,,, I go to alot of different Walgreens when I am traveling Oklahoma and hands down this one is the worst I ever been to every time I go,, I mostly pass this store up but needed to stop for a few things and it is still the same..
