Very friendly atmosphere when it comes to grooming, the store part not so much! But Jessica was a doll to my Minnie Moo and she loves her to death whenever I go back to get her groomed I will be going back to her.

Awesome store, great customer service. Treated with respect and made me feel at ease. Very polite employees, good knowledge about the products they have. Sebastián was really nice, helped me get a great dog house. I highly recommend this one.

Scheduled an appointment for 10:30. Showed up 5 minutes early and the groomer hasn’t arrived yet. Wait 20 more minutes. She’s still not there. And they claim they have no way to call her to see if she plans on showing up. Since I had no way of knowing if the groomer is even going to be there, I declined to leave my dog there. I left my phone number, asking to have her call me when she gets there so we can try to get my dog groomed. She never called. We’ve used this place for grooming for a year. I’ll be finding a new groomer.

Showed up for grooming appointment on time. Groomer took another pet in front of me that didn’t have an appointment. I waited patiently. My turn came and the groomer proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t have time to groom my pet, a bath is all she will do. Very rude and unprofessional. I will not go back and will tell everyone I know about my experience.

Staff seems quite uninformed about pets. Specifically cats. The girls that were there the day we visited, knew a lot about dogs and fish. So apparently they are not fans of cats.This location was put together a bit different than some other locations, albeit the store was clean and mostly stocked with a wide variety of pet food, treats, and toys. This location also seemed to lack much in the pet meds department compared to other locations.

I absolutely feel we are very lucky to have a store in Poteau that has made available products not normally found outside of our vets office for our pets. The pet grooming store inside of Petsence store makes it so convenient to get our little (or big) ones grooming needs taken care of while we're choosing for their remaining needs from a variety of quality products... Thanks Petsense!

There's a reason for appointments, ya?? Yes! Drop our pet off at appointed time, "give me about 2 hours," ok, no prob. 3 1/2 hours later, our pet is ready. I can get my pet groomed cheaper elsewhere, but they don't do appointments, just drop off, so 20 pets can be dropped off at same time. So, bit the bullet & was willing to pay Petsense $50 grooming cost, BECAUSE OF APPT. Well, not again. We are not locals, so killing that much time in Poteau is hard to do. . . . .not a happy camper......... won't be back. Seriously, If I am going to have to wait that long, I will pay the other groomer $25, & wait, ...... that's a little more worth it, to me!

Great friendly staff! They do not stock for allergies to chicken and lamb. I wish they would stock more of this kind of food. Blue Buffalo has chicken in every food they make.

Nice store with a decent selection and friendly staff. My only complaint is the state the betta fish are in when I visit. If theyre going to be in cups the water needs to be changed out daily. Everytime I come in I check them out and most of the water in the cups are dirty with a sick looking betta and some of them have a low amount of water. Also itd be nice to see a sign up stating general betta care for new fish keepers, so someone doesnt buy a betta thinking you can just toss it in a bowl or one of those tiny 1/2gallon tanks.

Definitely what I expect from a Petsense. The one in Tahlequah is cool but this one was better. They took better care of their kitties. They also were properly taking care of the beardies in the tank. Always love a pet place that knows how to handle pets.

When we moved to Poteau, there was only one pet store with limited hours that carried only 1 brand of dog food, and sometimes his supplier was late. We changed our dogs' diet and always had a 40-lb bag ahead, and found out that Petco had online ordering for everything else we needed that he didn't carry in his small shop. Then PetSense opened in town. I hated the disloyalty but, well, do you blame me? Open 7 days a week for generous hours that fit my long working day, filled with every brand of dog food imaginable, plus almost all the supplies we needed. They've now expanded to offer grooming and cat adoptions, and they sell betta fish. Yes, I still go to the little Shop when I want to buy pets like fish, rodents, birds, and reptiles, but I go to PetSense for all their supplies!
