They said they would text me when my prescription was ready and they never did. I drove up to the window 2 times for them to say it will be ready in 45 minutes and then the last time I pull up it was a little before 9pm which was a good thing I pulled up just to see if they had it ready cause I was tired of waiting on a text and they told me oh yea we have it right here and she gives it to me through the window at the drive thru and hurries up and puts the window blocker on and turns out the light under the drive thru! Had I not pulled in there when I did I wouldn't have gotten my sons medication that we waited over 2 and a half hours for and I live an hour away and he had a double ear infection! They were never gonna text me or anything cause from what I seen everyone was ready to leave and go home so it was a good thing I pulled up when I did!

This is the absolute worst Walgreens I have ever been too. I live about 45 minutes from this Walgreens, and I have drove up here three times this week for my prescription not to be filled. They are extremely unorganized and unprofessional with customers. The lady who was supposed to be helping me argued with me for 10 minutes and then recommended I go to a different location. To continue, their store hours are inaccurate they seem to change them quite frequently, and do not update them on their website. Overall I had a terrible experience with the employees and would not recommend anyone to go to this specific location, unless they want to get behind on their medication or for it to be lost.

I recommend using any pharmacy but this one, especially if you absolutely need your medication same day. It’s rated 2 stars for a reason. They used to be really good but now it’s a joke. They “never receive” scripts from doctors or they take their precious time filling medicine. Absolute joke if a pharmacy.

The girls are really nice but I don’t like how the business is run. Half the time they say they didn’t get the script the doctor sent. There’s no notice if they run out of inventory and they take forever to process prescriptions. If you don’t sit and wait they will wait as long as they possibly can to fill.

I STRONGLY suggest utilizing a different pharmacy. I have a horrible eye infection and purposely chose Walgreens due to the later hours their pharmacy provides. I call to check on the status of my prescription, as I literally cannot open my eyes, and it says it’s ready. I ask my husband to go ahead and drive me. We arrive at 8:50 and I’m told they had an old insurance on file and I would have to come in tomorrow morning. I genuinely had everything they would need with me. They would not serve me.I previously worked for Walgreens in a different city. When did they lose their customer service? I frankly recall staying 5-20 minutes late almost like clockwork to HELP my local community. I wasn’t officially allowed to be off the clock until all customers had been assisted. It is not hard to run insurance and hand over medications, especially when a customer is in pain.This is not the first instance I have been dissatisfied with this location. You can count on long wait times, poor communication, and poor customer service.

The entire medical industrial complex is rigged. To get an OTC medication that is covered on your insurance you still have to have a prescription. I can walk in with my credit card and buy it no problem I shouldn't have to evolve a doctor to stop smoking or to get covered OTC medications. The only way it is justified is through the nature of how one office makes money for the other. We need to stop handing these companies the power.

I use Walgreens pharmacy for all of my medications. They are very respectful and accommodating when I submit and pick up prescriptions. Very kind, courteous and respectful employees.

Walgreen Pharmacy was a mess before they took on the Bintz Prescriptions and now it's worse. The people are nice but they need to get another pharmacist and alot more help. There is no good reason to have wait 3 days for a prescription to be filled.

The pharmacy is always extremely slow! If you pickup a prescription, you can expect to stand in line for 20 minutes before you even get to talk to them, then wait another hour and a half before it is filled. They are always behind for vaccine appointments, too. I arrive early and end up waiting an hour past my appointment time before receiving my vaccine. They had a 30+ minute wait in the drive-thru for a covid test, too! I was ignored while other cars were helped and didn’t receive the test until 30 minutes after my appointment. They need to hire more staff so that they can help both lines inside the pharmacy and both lanes in the drive-thru simultaneously instead of one or the other leaving customers frustrated.

Family member needed meds after having surgery. Walgreens in Ponca City OK had the meds then didn’t have the meds. Tried to transfer script to Walmart, and Walgreens messed that up also. It went on for 7 hours!!! Back and forth. Three different times. THE WORST PART is the customer service. No apology. No accountability. No “Sorry for your trouble.” It was horrible. I understand supply shortages, or needing extra time… but I don’t understand rude, unhelpful and uncaring staff. . Walgreens is the WORST. In the meantime, my family member is in pain after having knee surgery. But Walgreens DOES NOT CARE about customers. Take your business elsewhere. You CANNOT count on this Ponca City Walgreens to take care of your medication needs.

This is the absolute worst place to get prescriptions filled. Any time there is even one other vehicle in line plan on waiting AT LEAST 30 minutes. I’ve been here for an hour now. Just today, I called at 10:30 AM and asked about my son’s prescription, they said they were filling it and it would be ready in about an hour. I get off work and get to Walgreens at 4 PM and I’m told it’s not ready and they’ll have it ready soon. So I wait another HOUR and I finally get the text that it’s ready just to wait in line for over an hour. This is CONSTANT with this store. I absolutely hate coming here. The staff are rude and unprofessional, the service is terrible and slow and they can never get things right in their system. I’m fuming right now. I keep forgetting to change to a different pharmacy until it’s too late.

Customer service is OK. But, the pharmacy hours is not too great. It's hard to manage my work hours to their opening hours. Plus, not being opening on the weekends. It's hard for me to pickup my refills. I can understand nobody wants to work on the weekends. But, when it comes to people that needs their meds. they should cater to their needs, not to their needs. I to have work on the weekends but, we split our work force to work on the weekends.

2 hours after three prescriptions were sent in, I got an automated phone call saying my Rx was delayed. No specific reason given. After about 10 minutes of being on hold, I was told by the tech that insurance wasn't going to cover one of them so they hadn't started on any of them. I was told it would be about another hour. 75 minutes later, I arrive at the store where I wait 10 minutes at the counter for someone to finally wait on me, just to be told that it would be another 40-60 minutes. I was assured that I would receive a text when they were ready. I don't live in town, so an inconvenience to make multiple trips. It has now been 7 1/2 hours since my Dr. sent in the Rxs & still no confirmation they are ready. Glad they weren't critically urgent. What a joke! I will be finding a new pharmacy.

pharmacy is in capable of handling orders. Every single time I come to get my prescription refilled there is always an issue. They either need more help or they need to hire somebody who’s capable of doing their job. I would not recommend this pharmacist choose another pharmacy.

It's changed so much. They use to have all kinds of stuff to choose from, especially when it came to any holidays, but now they just don't.They do accept Fed-Ex, so I was happy about that, and was able to drop my package off.

Just called to see if my sons prescription was in. They didn’t have a pharmacist yesterday. Plus the doctors office system was down. Just need it filled very quickly because their hours have changed. Stayed on hold for over 30 minutes. Someone picked up and hung up. I’m gonna go ahead and change pharmacies. You guys are jerks honestly.

I waited in line for 15 minutes at the pharmacy before someone noticed I was there and then they said just a second and then another 10 minutes went by. The girl that helped me was rude. Every time I come here the people there are rude as hell. And they never enter in my coupons right either.

Worst pharmacy in Ponca City. They had my prescription for antibiotics that I desperately needed for days and kept telling me...tomorrow. When it finally got to the point were I couldn't wait another day I contacted Toni's who called Walgreens 4 times to have my prescription transfered and were hung up on everytime. Toni's went out of their way to contact the ER for a copy of my prescription. I will never use Walgreens Pharmacy in the future.

I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. When I arrived the lady working told me it would be 30-40 minutes before my prescription was ready due to the clinic sending it to the wrong one. Upon returning 30 minutes later, there was 1 customer is the drive thru on the outside lane and I pulled up to the window waiting. I was there for 3 minutes while they were helping the 1st customer. When they were done the lady shut the window on me and told me I would have to come back after their lunch break. Now I understand an employee has a right for his or her break BUT it was very rude and unprofessional the way she handled it. She failed to mention their break time the first time I had went. I'm not one to complain but I live out of town and having to drive back 2 times to be sent home is ridiculous!! I think I will use a different pharmacy from now on.

This is by far the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. Short staffed, not well trained, and I hate going to there. I never would've if the er wouldn't have called the meds into that place!

Walgreens management is obviously “trying” to get by with minimum staffing. This is apparent while shopping inside the store and for me especially while on line at the pharmacy drive-thru. The wait is usually tolerable and staff is always friendly but whenever traffic increases the bare bones staffing tests the nerves of both customers and staff.During long waits it becomes obvious that there is only a single “pharmacy tech” on duty handling the lines inside and outside and the situation becomes hard to endure. Why can’t Walgreens increase their staffing or at least cross train staff members to help when customer volume is difficult to handle. Another way to ease the situation might be to block access to one drive thru lane to limit customer volume, nobody likes to wait on a long line and it becomes easier for a busy customer to get out of line.The bottom line is that Wallgreens management is failing both customers and their own staff. If management were competent, staff wouldn’t be stressed out and I wouldn’t be writing this review.

I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star if I didn’t have to. The pharmacy is hands down the WORST. Long lines. Lack of communication and if you are looking for customer service-jokes on you. And get ready-your prescription will never be filled on time. I will never. And I repeat NEVER have a prescription sent to this location.

They need to address there speed of service through drive thru. I waited for 15 min plus with only 2 cars ahead. I also came earlier and had waited 10 min with 8 cars ahead. I will be moving my services to Walmart pharmacy. Thanks

I needed to pick up a prescription and I was thoroughly parched so I decided to go in as there was only one car in drive-thru at the pharmacy and there's not very many cars in the parking lot. After about a 15-minute wait I decided just to leave my drink and other random purchases and go through drive-thru. I got through in under two minutes. Most ridiculous wait I've ever had in my life. Oh I forgot to mention the store manager was aware of the situation. Get yourself together walgreens.

The price on the shelf wasn't accurate, at the register. The item rang up double the price. The cashier thought it might have something to do with rewards, and want interested in resolving this issue. I suggest shopping at an alternative store that doesn't play games without pricing at the register. It was obvious from the cashier's reaction that this was a routine issue with this company or location. I'll not be stopping at this location again, and in fact this experience has tarnished on opinion of the Walgreens brand in general.

They won't sell Tylenol flu without an ID. Absolutely ridiculous. They care more about crackheads abusing Tylenol than actual sick people. Would not recommend.

Pharmacist made a mistake but wouldn't admit to it. Tonis pharmacy even agreed with me and had words with the girl in the pharmacy. When I called the store manager things got worse. They called my doctor and tried to get me kicked out. Stay away from ponca city walgreens. They are rude,snide know it alls..

The pharmacy isn't the best. But the store itself is nice and I like being able to use my points for really good discounts. They were also super kind and helpful with my passport pictures.
