Took our pup for a spay at 8am, to get a call back at 10 saying they aren’t gonna do the procedure because my DOG bites. This dog has been around infants since birth and has never been aggressive. they claim to not want to traumatize her, instead insists on drugging the dog before bringing her back the next week, I had scheduled because I’m on a time crunch and needed her spay to be over with and out of the way. I also have a male Rhodesian and i do not want puppies! the vet insisted I didn’t necessarily “need” the spay until she was in heat. thought we had scheduled an appointment for ONE day, they tried to make it a week process. then continued to act as if it was my dogs fault. Played “the blame game” because they couldn’t do a spay on my pup. Good vet, poor service. Definitely money driven. Do not care about our pets. If my pup bites and you are unable to do the spay. Okay understandable. Say that. Instead of trying to act like you care for my dog. I took her to you for a spay. Not to be told how to raise my pup. Will not take down. Please upload the video of my reaction in the lobby, I would also love a direct message of my pup’s reaction. All animals are scared of vets. Don’t use it as an excuse to not do your job. You have already removed my pup as a client. Stop trying to contact me. it is my first amendment right to speak my thought on a review. Nothing I said was misleading or incorrect.

I haven’t been going to them long, but they value you and your pet. The doctor is so nice and funny. Overall just really nice people. I also love how they have cats roaming around. It’s very welcoming.

I had called about an emergency for my pet, but it was after hours, so I ended up taking him to a different facility out of town. Him not even being a patient, they still contacted every day via text to check on how he was doing. Post op for my pup, he started not feeling well, so I text the number wanting to get him in the following business day. Even though they were heading back from out of town, they stayed in contact till they were able to get him in to visit. Pioneer vet goes above and beyond to help not only their own clients, but non clients as well. They are truly a caring and attentive veterinary clinic. Five stars.

I found the demeanor of Dr. Bowman to be very condescending and she was also very short with me over the phone. I will not take my animals there and cannot recommend this clinic to anyone for this reason.

My Malamute has seizures. Dr. Bowman and staff jumped right in and took care of my Finnlay. They are kind, compassionate, and MOST if all, knowledgeable.

I boarded my dogs with them for a little over a week. Upon picking them up they informed me they gave my dogs flu shots without asking my permission. It was never once mentioned on the phone or on drop off that this was a requirement and then said I signed a sheet of paper that mentioned it but they never once pointed it out. Just snuck it in there.I don’t recommend. Severe lack of communication.

Wow!! I’ve used Dr Bowman for a while for my regular vet (and a couple emergency ish) needs. She and all the people working there have always been FANTASTIC.I just picked my dog up from boarding for 4 days. It’s the first time i have left her there. I cannot say how happy I am. She’s never been in groups of dogs and they said she did good! When I have picked her up anywhere else in the past she’s always anxious and tugging to go home. When I picked her up today it was like when I’d get her from a loved ones house. Happy to see me but in no rush or anxious or anything otherwise. That alone made my decision of never using anyone else for boarding.But honestly this place is amazing and hands down the best veterinarian I have ever used. Always kind. Always caring. Thank y’all so much for taking such good care of my girl! Y’all are rockstars!

From leaving staples in my pet, to charging me 40$ for a recheck visit just to ask if I was satisfied on my last visit. To having issues just forwarding a email address to my previous vet so they could send over records for over a month. Been a few times after my move big meh. After leaving this review instead of following up with me they just sent over my records. I feel like they don’t care as much about the pets as they do doing things as quickly as possible just to charge you and get you out the door.

All the Girls here were friendly and loving toward my two little puppies. Dr. Bowman was awesome! Knowing I had limited time they were very quick and professional. Lucky for me there was a cancellation and the front desk assistant was quick to call and try and get me in knowing my puppies were in need of some attention so they can lead a healthy happy life! The Apps they use are helpful and makes it easy to reach them day or night! I would recommend them to anyone who puts their pets first!

This is the greatest place for taking your fur babies! She takes time with each individual animal and makes sure each is taken care of before moving on to the next! She is clear with her directions and great with humans too! 😂 5/5

Called needing my puppy to be seen for an emergency visit. Hands down the best ‘bed side’ manor. The nurses, the doctor, the receptionist were amazing and so extremely nice. They made this new dog mom feel welcome and took care of her immediately. Our family will recommend this office to all our friends with pets! Thank you all for helping this nervous mom feel better and taking such great care of my girl, Jill!

I have trusted my pets and livestock with Dr. Bowman for a number of years. She’s always been reliable, honest, and compassionate. I know that she will not advise me or care for my animals, any different than she does with her own. A few years ago I had to put my beloved mare down. My mare was my first horse and she had been with me for two decades. Dr. Bowman worked with me to help keep her comfortable, until it was no longer the best decision for my mare. She assured me over and over that I was making the right decision, and she made the farm call to administer the medication, to keep my mare comfortable up to the very end. Dr. Bowman has adjusted her services since COVID entered our lives, and she offers curbside pickup of your pet, and then does the exam via video, so you still have the opportunity to ask questions and learn what is going on during the exam. We are blessed to have many capable and caring veterinarians, in this area, and I appreciate all of the care that Dr. Bowman and her amazing staff provides for mine and my family’s veterinary needs!

Went to this vet to have a rescued kitten looked after. Their intake paperwork has clauses that make them immune to legal action if they mess up. It also gives them permission to do what they want no matter the cost without authorization. When I questioned this policies to be sure I would not get into financial trouble (I am a disabled vet) I was told they wont do business with me. We drove 40 min one way only to be sent out the door because I asked a question. I would imagine the doctor is good and I do not think they would intentionally screw people over, but as they are new to me I had to ask. The fact they reacted they way they did tells me they are covering themselves as they MUST have had issues before. I am going to research their business and find out why they treated a Veteran this way, someone who sacrificed so they could HAVE a Business. ANYONE WHO TREATS A VETERAN LIKE THIS FOR ASKING A SIMPLE QUESTION is NOT someone you want to do business with.

Dr. Bowman is so nice and seems to genuinely care about your pets. She's not "in it for the money". Having worked at another vet clinic for 3 years, I can tell the difference in which doctors care and which ones are just plain greedy. Her staff was also amazing! We had no wait time which was perfect for my nervous dog. We will be bringing all 4 of our pets here from now on.

My cat is sometimes cranky until she gets there and then turns into a princess, they love on her and make her feel special, I won’t take my girl anywhere else but to this vet clinic. I am very impressed with Dr. Bowman and her staff. My boxer had a nerve injury to her back legs which was causing her to not have the use of her left leg and we could not get in to our regular vet. I called Pioneer Veterinary Clinic and they were able to get us in straight away. Dr. Bowman was able to set my mind at ease about the issues and treated us like she had known us forever. She explained everything that she would be doing and made us feel very comfortable knowing that our fur baby would be well taken care of! You can really tell her that she loves what she does and I will be switching all of my fur babies to her care. Thank you for all you did to help our baby.

We just moved in the area and our rescue kitty needed a new vet, the office staff was awesome and they took great care of our cat Aurora. The doctor suggested dental surgery and she extended her special pricing to us and that was great customer! To top it off the doctor pulled all the bad teeth instead of the one for the same price, so I highly recommend this office. They were amazing!

They got me right in! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I was dreading bringing 2 dogs and 2 boys into the vet but the staff helped me by taking the dogs so I could fill out paperwork and pay. The veterinarian was super helpful as well! Informative and kind! Very pleased all around and had a great experience!

Avoid this place if possible. Only cares about money. Not a good place to take pets. You will be milked for money like a cash cow.Fur Baby lives matter! Dont support places that see pets as a way to finacial sucess.

I love that the doc loves animals and treats them awesome. I almost was denied return of my babies for not being able to pay. I managed to beg and with donations retrieve my babies. I appreciated she boarded and they were well kept for while i struggled with relocation.
