Went in there today. My mom had to use the restroom, after she spent almost $100. They were rude, lectured her about using the bathroom before you go out, and said the bathroom was for employees only. This made her feel uncomfortable, and embarrassed. When you aren’t home for a while, you gotta go somewhere. Will definitely be calling corporate, soon. We’re grown, and don’t need people lecturing us about useless stuff. I will always take up for my mom. If I could leave zero stars, I would. That is all I have to say about this store. WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

The line was wrapped around the store. One cashier was on register. I waited in line for 20 minutes. There was another worker in the store the whole time who came up to help after the majority of the line had cleared. The poor kid who was checking out all the customers was extremely nice but making people wait in an extremely long line like that when there is someone else in the store to help is unexeptable.

The Dollar General store in Pocola, OK closes in the early afternoon, sometimes at 12 noon, due to the lack of adequate cooling during this heat.The dedicated employees are enduring true hardships in this environment and “now” lack of hours due to store conditions.Now, this makes refrigerated perishable and semi-perishable items “suspect” to their true cold storage shelf-lives.

Great store to shop at. They actually have some cute home decor to choose from. My go to place for house hold necessities, dish soap, laundry detergent,etc. I use the DG Digital coupons and save on average $12 when I have to stock up.

this writing for Dollar general store is particularly for the Dollar general store in Rock island Oklahoma that says the best Dollar general I've ever been to Justin which is the manager absolutely runs a wonderful store I love all the employees there you just could not ask for better employees Lisa Christie it's just a good place to go when you can tell the employees by name and introduce them to everyone you know you've got a good store they keep it clean they keep everything you need is just a wonderful place to go

Staff are helpful, but don’t even think about picking up anything last minute! Feels like half the time they close before it’s 10:00. Who needs last minute cold medicine am I right?

Not a very spacious store. Inventory and shopping carts all over the place. The line was every bit 15 minutes 20 minutes to get through. There was no cashier person in sight. Had to go look for one. Never went back again.

Dollar General is your basic dollar store and along with that comes the usual dollar store motif and atmosphere. This store is smaller than most and not quite as organized as some. It serves its purpose and the people are friendly.

I like the employees friendly and helpful. The front by the door and around registers is really cluttered. Outside trash is always overflowing and the parking area is littered with debris.

This used to be the go-to store in Pocola, but it has gone downhill! The parking lot is full of pot holes and the outside of the store always looks messy. I stopped by last week when I was visiting my Mother (she lives in Pocola) to pick up a few items. The music inside the store was deafeningly loud and there was only 1 cashier and lots of customers waiting in line. I was so happy when I finally got out of there! Next time I will drive a bit further and go to the Dollar General in Rock Island; just past the Catfish Barn.

This dollar general is very unorganized I was going to buy my grandson a Christmas book which every thing Christmas was 70%off but it was original price I love the employee's there they are so polite and helpful but really most of the. Don't have a clue

If I could give negative I would.....my wife went and they are soooo rude.they never have anything that we have coupons on. We took a item to counter to miss attitude and it scanned as $1 and she said oh I can’t sell that for a dollar it should be a dollar a piece... that’s not what it scanned.....people like that should either quit or maybe education towards the public.... this isn’t the first time but we were giving them a second chance

It was right on my way home. Dollar General, as a rule, has about anything I need to pick up last minute for dinner, pet good, cleaning supplies or whatever before I arrive home

They have many hidden surprises if you make the time to find them. Just don't expect fast service as they try to get by on the least amount of employee's, which is why I've seen them get ripped off by so many kids. ( Of which I've pointed out)
