Nolan and Angie were both VERY rude and disrespectful to me when I asked if they had a certain item inside the store and were quick to rush me out of the store. They both lack customer service and their positions should be reevaluated. I will travel miles further before I’d ever shop at the dollar general again. What a shame.

I love to shop at this location. However, the prices on their shelves are lower on many items than what the register rings up. This is not a fair practice, and needs immediate attention! Latest example is IAMS wet cat food labeled $1.10 on the shelf. Rang up $1.25 at register! Those differences start adding up.

I loved the clothes and the toys weren't too bad like they weren't too expensive. The shoes were cute, they were good, everything was like, really cheap. Everything was really cheap, that's what dollar generals for right other than that, they need to work on their customer service. That's why this is a 4 star

A young man went out of his way to get me a couple of pool noodles. I ask him if they had any and he said they had some in the stock room that wasn't out yet but he could get me whatever I needed. He went the extra mile for me....thank you so much. He genuinely cared! Don't see this anywhere very often.

Fantastic if you don't mind being treated like you're imposing. Manager gets mad if you come in 10 minutes before closing time. Store is fairly new but is always dirty, disorganized, cluttered and offers nothing but the finest in slow service. Manager got mad because someone came in and bought all the cases of water they had because "it left her with no water for anyone else". What difference does it make if one person buys 10 cases or 10 different people buy one case each? I asked why the store was always dirty and was told...by the manager again...if I didn't like it then I could go across the street to Family Dollar. Guess what. I can. I do. And I always will. I will not set foot back in that store again. Ever. And I know plenty of others in town that won't either because of the manager.

Will NEVER shop here again! Location is convenient but Staff is a Major Problem. I simply told Cashier that an item was on sale but didnt show correct price on screen & she was VERY Rude. She basically said I was Lying, didnt even check to see if I was correct even though i provided the info needed & started talking very loud to the point others were staring. I had all 3 of my children with me & was Totally embarrassed at how she turned this into a big scene. Asked her to please just take item off & she refused. My middle child (age 9) even realized she was being rude/hateful for no reason & asked her to please stop being disrespectful to me. Manager was notified at time of incident & finally just removed item but didnt even apologize about how she treated me. Doubt she will get any type of discipline related to how manager handled situation & fact others have had similar issues with same employee.

Never thought I'd shop at Dollar General but I lo e that theres not alot of people and if there is they dont stay long. I learned how to coupon and take advantage of the savings w the 5/25 & digitals coupons. Haven't shopped at the big stores as too large, many ppls and hate standing in line.

There is a Dark headed female worker that makes this a place I will not go. She is VERY rude, and if you just ask to know where something is in the store and her reply is to just look at you and roll her eyes and keep doing what she is doing, I can go spend my money elsewhere.

Normally don't have a problem here besides a couple members of staff who are just plain rude. Although I was wondering why there is 2 signs posted on the doors stating you close @9 , I show up at 8:30 and the doors were locked. No one would answer the phones either but there clearly an employee car in the parking lot. Must be hard to work at dollar general.🙄🙄🙄

It's a dollar general. About the same price or a little more than Walmart, just has limited selection. Staff is extremely friendly. This DG is the only place in town other than a local, expensive grocery store.

I really don't know why they call this place Dollar General, most things they're do cost more than a dollar but generally you can buy things there that are a dollar. I'm assuming that maybe there's a a general that owns the place maybe his last name is dollar I'm not sure but if you need stuff cheap stuff that's the place to go one of the many places to purchase cheap inexpensive items

Dollar General Piedmont has decent prices and is great when you don't feel like driving to Walmart. It is also home to Piedmont's only Redbox.
