The Bin is clearly marked 70% off. She rings it up full price,is annoyed I caught it, and then attempts to embarrass me into just purchasing it; by leaving me standing at the front of a line of waiting people. (self check out is also broken) While she leaves the front end to go get her "manager"... I think they were bothlying. The girl did not act as though she even possessed any management skills. She would not even address me! I had to ask twice for them to just check out my items so I could leave. They were BOTH rude and unprofessional Their behaviors both stated that they HATE their job and that they need unemployment. Pawnee people deserve better. Filthy store, as well.

The store is always filthy, and cluttered, but not many other options for a quick pick up of necessary items. More and more often, they don't have what I need. When l ask, they have a pat answer "the truck comes on Thursday ". I went on Friday and still no product. I've tried to find out who owns the Pawnee franchise with no luck. I would be so ashamed of this store, I'd hide too. On second thought, I would clean house! I'd advise to never visit that store if you are in a hurry. I waited 8 minutes for a cashier. It's just a sad excuse for a store. The new one in Glencoe is worth the drive!

There is no cashier up front to wait on you you have to walk the store to find a employee to help you how much is getting steal anyone can walk out and no employee would ever know. This store needs a new manager.

The only reason I'm even rating this disgusting store is because you have to give at least one star to write a review, otherwise I wouldn't give it a star at all. This store is always filthy. The floors look like they are hardly ever swept let alone mopped. Products are almost always out of stock, and the ones that are in stock are all over the aisle floor. The shelves are always unorganized and the freezers/coolers are either empty or not working. The items are just randomly thrown on the shelves and it's hard to find anything that goes together or that are similar on the same shelf. The customer service at this store is very poor and employees are either in a bad mood or they act like they are too good for their job. The store is very understaffed and usually only one register is open. So if there is more than a few people in the store that you can bet money that you'll be standing in line for a good minute while another employee just stands there watching the one on the register. Products break very easily. The store is always disgusting and nasty. Their bathrooms are never clean and always stink. I've gone in several times and had to turn right back around and walk out because they are so nasty and hardly ever have toilet paper or soap to wash your hands. Shopping carts are damaged and the hand held baskets are nasty....they are supposed to be yellow, but they are very dingy and gross. Aisles are such a cluster and it's hard to find what you're looking for. Its hard to find anything for that matter because things are not where they are supposed to be or where you think they would be. I dread having to go into that store, but with this being such a small town i have no choice most of the time. Needs new management and definitely needs new employees that actually enjoy working in customer service. And more employees on each shift to better help the store and its customers. Over all this store is a debbie downer and it just sucks.

The Little Things

I would of not rated this store but I had to so I could leave a comment. For starters, me and my two little girls went shopping there last night and an employee called the cops on me saying I was stealing a toothbrush. She said I was shoving it down in my purse. So after spending $259.73 we walk out pushing two carts. All of a sudden a cop approaches me informing me that a worker (Natasha) called and reported me for stealing. My 6 and 9yr old were scared beyond belief. Well I opened my purse showing the officer every inch of it, I also had him search my coat/pockets and I even handed him my long receipt and said we could go through everything I just purchased. Needless to say after all that and then talking to Natasha the officer laughed, handed me my receipt and let me go about my way. Oh, I unloaded The carts into my car and walked right back in there and confronted the employee named Natasha. She stated that she thought she saw me do that but wasn't for sure. Talk about humiliation and embarrassment. There were ten plus people standing outside watching. You bet your sweet bottom that I called corporate about 15-20 minutes ago. Now just waiting on a call back. I promise I will not stop calling/contacting headquarters until they make this right for me and my family. The store is ALWAYS a mess. Completely cluttered from front to back. Things scattered all over the filthy floors. Boxes in the aisles, carts/baskets filthy, most used items out of stock, understaffed, always a long wait in line (I've actually witnessed a worker say that she couldn't help check customers out cause she was going on break. There were 5 customers not counting myself in line with a lot of items each to checkout), the shelves are completely unorganized, now there is only one working bathroom and it is disgusting and there are always refrigerators that are empty or not working. I even went in there a few weeks ago and tried to buy a shirt that was on a clearance rack. Well ... there wasn't a price tag on it so Natasha (employee) said that she couldn't sell it to me. I went back the very next day and it was right back on the clearance rack without a price tag. The front door was cracked/broke for quite a long time. It was hazardous to the employees/customers. They finally just got that fixed. I've also seen some pretty shady exchanges go on between employee and customer! I hate to say this since this is the only retail store in this small town of Pawnee Oklahoma, but it needs either a major redo or just straight up shut down!!!

This is the absolute worst dollar general ive ever been to! There is only one maybe two workers who are respectful, and the manager is the most disrespectful person i have ever met! Working in customer service for over 8 years i know how customers are supposed to be treated, and leaving them to wonder the store to SEARCH for an employee is not okay! Especially when they find an employee and its a manager and she completely and blatantly ignores the customer asking for help! And then she refuses to give the corporate number! I will not be returning to any DG store if this is how you allow your employees to behave. I would rather drive the 50 miles to our closest FRIENDLY walmart!

This store needs help! They finally have great employees and I don’t want to see them leave but the aisles are still always cluttered and Shelves empty. They need to have more employees on hand to stock. We do not have a near by Walmart and we depend on this Dollar General to have what we need. We should never be told they are out of spray bottles, Dr Pepper etc to name a couple. I’ve also noticed they are always out of DrPepper or almost out , whose ordering and taking inventory? They should be able to see it’s time to order more than usual.

It's convenient for a town with nothing but it's always out of stock on most products and a cluster, cramped mess. Usually there is only one register open so if there's more than a couple customers you can bet you will stand in line for a minute. That is after you look through the store for an employee to assist you. This DG needs new management and a lot of work!

The store is dirty, products on the floors, baskets to carry products are filthy, staff increase needed. The check out gentleman apologized for the lengthy wait time but that doesn't makeup for a dirty store. Hire more help that will want to be proud of their work place.

Was there before 950 pm and the doors were already locked. Lights were on but doors were locked. Just wanted to get my granddaughter milk, and got upset cause I couldn't even do that. If it were for me I wouldn't have cared.

The little old black lady was such a dear and had a good soul she was very nice to talk to a dirty white boy about Jesus I just went through a flood where before that I lost my oldest brother and my mom and six year old son 5 months before that where I was the victim of a hit and run where a Escalade bring me over well I was on my motorcycle in Turkey nothing I had all but given up on God somehow through that conversation I found the will to see another day maybe I just needed somebody to talk to

The sole employee was very friendly and helpful. She is most definitely an asset to the pawnee dollar general store. I asked about her employment duration, she stated that she's worked for DG for 8 years. I would hope that she is given a raise, because it was obvious to me that she goes well above and beyond the job description to serve the customers and store alike very well.

This Dollar general in terms of the visit and atmosphere created by the workers and the ability or the availability of products that they carry is like any other Dollar general but keep in mind that experience is not modified to help you at all considering the fact that they had no direct competition or there's any other sources to pick up what you can get at Dollar general so if you can get what you need in a neighboring town like Cleveland or Stillwater oh and stay away from whites the grocery store because they are marked up like 400% over Walmart prices

Would never go here again. I bought 2 cokes for $3 and she charged $2 a piece. I was in Pawnee for a funeral not to get robbed and treated bad. This place does not like NDN's

The Cleveland , Oklahoma Dollar General may be a tad cluttered but it looks clean enough to beat out Stillwater, Pawnee, and Cushing sites. I looked for Q-tips for at least 10 minutes though. The cashier made contact with me out by the medications and asked me if I needed help, how was I doing, does my sister and her baby need help????? I like this guy, the 20 year old 'sister' is my daughter and the handsome major cuteness overload is Marcus, 8 months old and my grandson

Good to have some less expensive options in town. Sometimes a bit messy, but the products are worth the minor wading.
