Pretty nice store with good selections. I was not happy about the butcher or the lack of steaks. The ribeyes are $17.99 and looked horrible. Butcher was just standing at the door... not doing anything. When asked about more steaks, he mumbled, but not coherently. Oh well...

Only grocery store within 30 miles. Prices are high given many locals aren't able to afford the drive 60mi round-trip. Can scratch out good deals now and then if being frugal. Best as "fill-in store" when you grocery shop biweekly or monthly in Bville/Skiatook Walmart and run short on basics before your next "trip to the city". Other than cost and quality being sub-par, most the employees are excellent (and better than Walmart) in keeping the check-out lines short, shelves stocked and will help you find that 1 particular item that's stocked in an odd area

It used to be better when it was IGA. They have stopped serving the breakfast. It wasn't very clean and the overhead music was too loud. I also noticed they have an electronic menu at the deli now and new cash registers again. Must have cost a fortune, maybe that's why the quality has gone down.

Good selection of diff types of foods prices a little strap but was glad to see something diff here than in other stores to choose from deli has food to go it was really good little too much salt though in green beans they have chicken dibbers Mac & cheese mashed potatoes pot wedges very good

We love to shop at Pawhuska Hometown Foods. The meat selection is great. So many choices at great prices even in these days. Having butchers there too. Also love the "hot food deli for lunch and dinner, from the best fried chicken to the Indian fried bread to the cobblers" so fresh it is always good. The service is great too. Always a pleasure to shop there and we drive 45 miles to come there.

The people that work at the store is very very rude the bread is not fresh as a matter of fact it's expired usually when you buy it off the shelf I personally have bought three different jugs of orange juice there brought them home and they all three or spoiled had to pour them out down the drain you can't buy little cherry tomatoes there if they don't have any they don't even carry him the store is too expensive on most of their items you're better off to just drive to Bartlesville to get what you need instead of shopping at Harps in Pawhuska I'm sure whatever it is you buy will either be spoiled outdated or just no good

I went to get some lunch from their deli and there was a sign saying the fryers were down. Okay, no problem. What was a problem is that there were no lights on in the deli case and all the food looked like it had been sitting there unattended for hours. It was overly dry, burnt looking, and very unappetizing. I waited to see if anyone would come to the counter so I could see if I could get something else but no one showed up. Even the 2 young men sitting on and leaning on the metal counter on the meat department side could not be bothered to be inconvenienced long enough to stop their conversation and give up their oh so comfortable counter to come ask if I needed help. Definitely don't recommend. Their customer service is most definitely lacking.

Got there for dinner, there was slim pickings, but I asked when the next chicken was cooked and then waited 6-8 minutes for them to cook some fresh tenders and it was 100% worth it. Breading was fantastic, perfect and juicy. Corn and mashed taters were on point. They even have an offset smoker out back where they slow roast their ribs. forget the mercantile, this is the hot spot for home cooking!

Great Deli and Hot FoodWe went here while visiting the Tallgrass Prairie Reserve and we wanted some fried chicken for a picnic there. A local directed us here. We weren't sure when we got there because it isn't much to look at inside or out. The deli is in the back and the food was delicious . It was very clean and the fried chicken was superb.

Great grocery for being the only grocery in town :D Still they have floral services, gifts, and pretty much everything everyone needs in a pinch. There is also a BBQ and hot food service in the back that is really popular with the locals. I also got buzzed by a drone in the parking lot watching me which was odd - new security system? :D

Very expensive. But being the only actual grocery store for 30 miles in any direction, many people have no other option.It does seem however, that they are getting fresher foods stocked. 🤞

It's convenient. The staff is nice but the produce and other products aren't always as fresh as they should be. On more than one occasion we have found rotten food. Once we were getting sliced cheese and I found two moldy packages before I found one that was ok. We gave the moldy ones to the cashier. We've also found moldy bread. Products look out of date most of the time in old packaging. Fruits are way over priced.

Sorry excuse for a grocery store. They will have one price on an item and charge you something different. Than get upset at you and though your grocery’s around when you try to correct them. Prices are 5x more than Walmart. It’s just as cheap to drive to Walmart than shop at Hometown Grocery Store. You can get better quality of food at another store than what they try to sale at this store. Bathrooms are nasty and smell. The trash was overflowing. We will never shop at this place again!!!!!

. Hey. It's a grocery store. A small town grocery store. We often stay at a cabin nearby state Park and usually grab our last minute items here. They actually do a few things like smoke chicken very well they have a deli. Produce department is a little weak, but not that bad. Prices are a little high but pretty much competitive, especially for a small town grocery store.

This place carries lots of different options for most types of diets! They even carry gluten free baking items. Something they could work on is better vegetable produce and variety. Though, they usually have a few things like tomatoes and avacados.

This place is very nostalgic for me. It has changed names but that's it everything else is just as it was ten years ago. Friendly service and the deli is a must stop Everytime I come to pawhuska!!!
