Cute little Sweet Shop in Pawhuska! Stopped here after having pizza at P-Town (that was AMAZING!) and just wanted a little something sweet. Ordered a single scoop and Marina gave me an awesome helping of two delicious flavors: Coffee Almond and Toffee Salted Caramel! I’m sure this place is packed in warmer weather but loved the cozy quiet that it was tonight.

This is the official sweet shop of the pioneer woman. However the ice cream is a generic brand ice cream that can be found all over the country, including in the Six Flags theme parks. It is nothing special. The only pioneer woman item in the store is the homemade sauces, Rich are only hot fudge and caramel. I recommend saving your money and appetite and ordering dessert at the mercantile instead.

Great ice cream! You will get your money's worth and then some. Bring your appetite or a buddy to share, or both! They have unusual flavors as well. Tried the huckleberry which was delicious but went with the chocolate/peanut butter. Daughter ordered a sundae which would feed 3! You have to try if your in the area.

So there we were on Memorial Day weekend, looking around at little shops and a movie set. Then behold! A sweet shop appeared. The line was long but the smell of baking things kept us at bay. They ran out of specialty flavors of ice cream, that I was saddened to hear. But I did try the waffle bowl with two scoops of flavors that I hold dear. My faithful companion, my child, wanted a banana split, the classic kind. Were it not for the frightened lady behind the counter having trouble remembering how to peel the banana, we may have gotten it faster. But then Huzzah! The banana split was made and all rejoiced. I've included digital proof of these items existence. Btw, the waffle bowl was great. The end.

Such a sweet shop( pun intended)! The staff were really helpful and nice. The huckleberry ice cream was soooooo good! The waffle cones are delicious and taste almost like they have a touch of cinnamon in them. The decor is cute and whimsical. Loved it!!

Homemade waffle cones and mint ice cream! My sister and daughter loved it! I had vanilla and homemade hot fudge. Delicious! Very cute ice cream and candy store! I wish all the candies were labeled with what they are but you can figure out most of them.

My family enjoyed the Tilamook ice cream very much! I personally enjoyed the selection of candy that was offered and it was pleasantly nice and cool inside (I was actually shivering😂)Definitely worth the stop after eating at the Merc!

Lots of ice cream for a fair price! We were a bit bummed they were out of the mint chocolate chip but our cup of birthday cake was still good. This was a nice place to stop in.

Cool little shop that sells candy and ice cream, and t-shirts. Wish I would have taken a pic of my sundae, but omg it was amazing! They are huge! Can't recall the name, but it had rocky road ice cream in it with snickerdoodle cookie crushed up on top with hot fudge and other deliciousness with high sugar content. Give this place a try, I think you'll be impressed.

The ice cream was delicious. The spoon changes color why you eat. They need a tip jar for Amelie. She was so pleasant.

A few reviewers here take exception to the customer service. I’d like to suggest that in Pawhuska, OK it may be difficult to attract world class service. This isn’t to let Charlie’s off the hook but it ought to give us all pause. What the PW team has done in this town is amazing. They have to rely on Pawhuska to support their vision. That means, from what I can tell, counting on a younger demographic of mostly student employees. While training should be a focus in regard to customer experience I don’t count it against the business in this case. It’s a very small space and while most of the candy is modern and easily available at a local gas station it’s an experiential outing for us and we were happy to snag a couple items for the kiddo.Charlies is really about the ice cream. Great cones, great ice cream, reasonable price. Try one of their speciality chocolate dipped waffle cones! It’s a great cap to the end of the day and if you’ve got kids use “ice cream” as your bribe for the day.We will be back!

No dinner is complete without dessert. Stopped off for the Fudge monster, it's more than 2 people can eat and the Tillamook ice cream is very very good.

The icecream was amazing, however prices on candy and things are not marked on everything. Ask for prices! My son got a small candy tin full of candy it was like $14 something then we needed a bag because we got several items and classic bottles of pop. The bag cost $3 just a regular gift bag nothing fancy. They didn't tell us this, I had my kids with me and just paid and left. I was shocked when I saw my receipt. I also expected more homemade items. I'm just giving it 4 stars because the icecream cones were great and my kids loved it.

We unknowingly stopped in 2 minutes before closing (opps!) The 2 young people working were so welcoming and funny! They encouraged us to try samples and shared their favorites. We loved the ice cream, and the service was Outstanding!!

Charlie's Sweet Shop owned by Ree Drummond is a cute little place selling Tillamook ice cream and a wide assortment of candies. The staff was kind and the ice cream was delicious. I've seen reviews criticizing the shop for selling ice cream from a brand that I'd widely available, but for the town of Pawhuska this is quite a treat! Recommend checking it out.

We had a great visit to Charlie's Sweet Shop this evening! The prices are very reasonable for ice cream and the staff was very helpful. I ordered a double dip and she asked if I was sure I wanted that much. She said "let me show you how big one scoop is before you decide if you want two." Let me tell you, one scoop at Charlie's is equal to about 4 scoops at Baskin Robbins. All of this ice cream in a home-made waffle cone for $3.50. What a deal and it tasted great too!

We loved going in to Charlie's for ice cream on a chilly Tuesday evening, the first of December actually. They serve the best ice cream ever... From Tillamook creamery... With huge portions. And the cones, sprinkles, and dip all made such a fun experience. The shop is so cute, and we were fortunate to be able to sit at a table (quiet night!) And soak up all the Charlie's sweet vibes! The server was kind and helpful, the shop sparkling and dressed up in its Christmas finery!

Kids liked their ice cream. Needed to keep asking for more napkins, bc they only gave two each time when we were a party of 5. Seemed the staff wasn’t very friendly as they were more concerned about chatting amongst themselves than they were about taking care of customers. Wished they’d put prices on the candy. Spent $70 on gummies that taste like straight cardboard!!! At $20 each (found this out at the register) you’d expect them to be editable!! Won’t return.

The ice cream here was fantastic with lots of unique flavor options and toppings! They have candies and other cute merch available. (T-shirts, etc) the decor and setup of everything seemed well thought out.The customer service, however, was not good. The staff seemed careless. My ice cream almost fell off my cone when it was handed to me, and the employee seemed very annoyed when I asked for a cup. We saw two employees roll their eyes at a third employee when he dropped something. AND the staff were on their phones at the cash register which while customers were up at the counter. Those are just a few examples. We also sat at a dirty table because there were no clean ones, and a lot of the candy and other merchandise was out of stock. The other PW locations we visited were very different with great customer service and a well kept place so we were surprised with the service received here.

When there for my daughter’s birthday I wasn’t impressed. The place was really dark. The ice cream tasted like it from cheap brand. Both those things I could deal with but the main reason for 3 stars was the staff was rude. Made me and my daughter wait forever to get served. The one girl stocking candy couldn’t even be bothered to help and when the other girl finally came from the back she couldn’t even smile and say hello. I go to Pawhuska regularly to see my family and was looking forward to going here but I’ll never go back to this place.

This is such a cute shop!!! The wall art is adorable. The little kids table is perfect. The ice cream is sweet. How could it be any better?! There is multiple tables of candy as well as ice cream. Some of the candy is retro, with razzles that take me back to the 80s and pop rocks in case the 90s are more your thing. Just like the rest of her businesses, Ree did an outstanding job on this little shop.

Nice and close to other Pioneer Woman properties. Small dining room, but was not crowded, even on Saturday. Scoop size is ridiculous, and pricing was actually somewhat better than hard serve chains. Ice cream was quite tasty.

We were ready for the candy store- I had been talking it up to my kids (9yrs & under) all day (I had previously been to the candy counter at the bakery). When we walked in, almost none of the candy was marked with a price and when I asked about it we were told to bring every item we had a question about up to the front and they would tell us. The prices were unbelievable. A small bag of bulk candy (runts, sour balls, some gummies) was $4, the medium bag (about the size of my fist if I’m being generous) was $8. A regular size stick of mentos was $3. A ring pop, $2. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I very rarely write negative reviews, but something is wrong here. I LOVE the Mercantile, and rave about it constantly since first visiting last spring. The ice cream prices were totally reasonable/normal. We left and went to dollar general down the road.

We had an awesome experience at the Sweet Shop. There was four of us, and we all had something different. There's many choices to chose from, but there's no choices for lactose free people. Maybe have at least one option without dairy. The Nebraska/Iowa girls had a great time!!Robyn McKibbin, Stuart, IA

Ice cream was great and we really enjoyed the visit overall however, the employees could use better customer service and not seem so annoyed and unfriendly. Place was not very clean either. We were all super excited to visit, the restaurant was great but the ice cream shop didn’t deliver with that same welcoming feeling and customer service.

Staff was not friendly or helpful. Didn’t know the flavors of taffy. They didn’t thank us for our purchase. To top it off, staff member was Leaning on the counter and eating ice cream while we were sitting in the store (during Covid-19, nonetheless, so she obviously isn’t wearing a mask), how disgusting! Lightbulbs in bathrooms burnt out. Very disappointed customer; expect more from a tourist attraction attached to The Pioneer Woman brand. I just wAtched the same employee use an un-gloved band to get a spoonful of ice cream out of the freezer case and eat it two times. Other girl is also standing behind counter eating. I am disgusted I let my children eat here. They are not giving the PW brand a good name, at all.
