INSANE! I asked my husband to grab water. He was in a hurry and didn't pay attention to the receipt.**$8.49 A CASE?? 24pk aquafina??There's NO WAY! Called and thought they made a mistake. Nope ,lady said we're "pricey" $18.51 for 2 cases of water🤨Don't go to Pete's! I'm reporting this insane pricing!

The bathroom is so nice. Anytime I need to go when I'm in oologah I wanna go there!!!! It's so clean I'm so amazed and happy. Thank you for keeping it clean and nice .

I stopped to look at their menu. They offer a plethora of tasty options. They however don't offer too much of a safe and clean food handling environment. Not trying to get anyone in trouble. Only reporting my observation. The person behind the counter scratched their head and I stayed looking to see if they were going to wash their hands afterwards, to my dismay they didn't and asked if I needed help; I declined and said I was still looking. A woman asked for a chicken strip and said person didn't put on gloves, they handled the small paper boats with dirty hands stacked on top of other food. I wasn't expecting a 3* Michelin meal...but a fuel station is exempt from common hygiene?? Aaaaah. Before anyone says, "IF you only knew what goes on in other establishments." Well folks, at least it's not done blatantly in front of patrons.Pete's gets a 2* today because their Manager on duty took my phonecall serious and said they would address it. I didn't address it in person to avoid a confrontation/scene. I hope to come back and look for an update of a higher regard for food handling safety.

Prices are fair, staff is friendly. They sell ice and firewood which make it super convenient when camping out at the lake. They should stock up on bug spray so that customers can avoid having to go anywhere else for their missing camping items. 😉Update 10/07/23:Lost 2 stars because of this…We are at the beginning of bonfire season. I take my family to the lake for a weekend campout and when I show up to Pete’s for firewood the previous night, I literally bought up what remaining bundles of wood they had which was like 4. The next day, their rack is completely empty. Not good for business. I was able to find some random logs at the campsite and was able to make the 4 bundles last for the duration of the camp, but still! You are the only place in Oologah to buy firewood. You ought to make sure you stay stocked up for when you know people are going to want to buy it the most…This makes your whole business look a little magoo in my opinion…

Pete's as a chain is a pretty decent chain of convenience stores. The Pete's in Oologah is a great down home, friendly atmosphere. They have a fairly large selection of pre-made deli items and are happy to customize anything on their menu. They also offer pizza, both ready-to-go and made-to-order. Plenty of gas and diesel pumps, including a couple of high flow pumps for big trucks and several parking spots for semis. Highly recommend!

Don't understand why they have semi parking if not to stop for the night. Can't call it a truck stop. They play music in the parking area. Don't expect to get any shut eye.

I am giving this store a high rating for customer service and cleanliness as well as the store being stocked however I was disappointed with my food I waited on. I ordered livers as they were out of chicken. I opted for livers and they had only 3 so she offered to cook more for a 5 minute wait. I agreed and thought the price of the meal was reasonable but I was disappointed in the livers because the grease tasted so awful on them. The grease probably was being used for multiple fried items and was burned. I didn't experience one bite of liver. I can't even explain how nasty it was so I had hard green beans and a soft small roll for lunch. :( I also did not like seeing old chicken mixed in with the freshly cooked. That is not a right way to do a consumer, especially when visually, it was obvious.On a positive note, the soda from the fountain was great and I appreciated the service

Very disappointed in this store and most of its workers. There has to be a policy in place for personal hygiene. Most everyone except a few look as though they have either not showered in days or look as though they just popped out of bed and went to work. When pumping fuel and there are windshield cleaners and there is not a drop of cleaner to wash the bugs off the windshield as you pay for fuel is maddening. You go I to the store to let them know and they look as though we have grown 2 heads. It's the Saturday crew that we encountered on Oct. 14th 2017. Lines at the register and only 1 clerk while the others stand around or bent down doing something else behind the counter. I have been a customer service rep all my adult career and I have never seen such laziness. I am not a negative person and I have like I said been in the field of customer service and the is absolutely the worst store. Hopefully the management will see this and take note and make some changes. I'm truly disgusted.

Always clean and people friendly! We stop thru every other week. Also feel safe to say walk our schnauzer. Good fried chicken, corn dogs, chicken gizzards and livers! Seems to be very busy place but they treat you personally good.

Susan, since I can not comment on your review directly. Ma’am, you are only telling part of the story. Your boyfriend came in, asked for cigs. He was asked to provide ID, as that is state law. He could not provide ID. He then left, you came in and asked for the same cigarettes. This transaction could not be made as it is a third party sale, which is against the law. It doesn’t matter if you are there daily or once a month, if someone asks for you or your boyfriend to provide ID, per state requirements to sell tobacco you must provide that Id, sorry you had a bad experience! And hope this clears up any confusion! Have a great day!

Stopped in for a Hot Water refill in a 24 ounce coffee cup and a cup of ice water. Was charged for 2 Full size 32ounce drinks. Made a complaint to cashier and her response was" we have to charge something". Will not stop in again as this is rediculous pricing on hot water and ice water.

Went there to purchase gas. Went inside and bought 2 drinks and 10.00 of gas. Went outsideto pump. It was not reset. Did not work, Had my wife ask to ask the clerk to reset the pump. He couldnt remember who I was or how much gas I purchased. So after 5 min I went back inside to get a refund because the clerk couldnt reset the pump. After a 3 minute story and a reciept to show I purchased gas, The other clerk says " Oh, I think he got it now". Apparently you dont need an education to work there. This is not the first time. And put some fricking paper in the pumps for receipts. If I wanted to go inside I would.I choose outside at times so I can pump and leave. But no, pump gas and "receipt i inside". Really?

Was in today! Employees all standing around talking and the only one running a register was just as bad not to mention she is supposedly an assistant manager! To busy to take care of customers properly, wrong pump! Went in cause the pump didn't register, came back out and still didn't register! The only work employee was a young man with a beard and long hair Steven I think is his name came out to help! They all want to stand around and talk about their boyfriends , Do It At Home! Not A Happy Customer at ALL!

Small truck stop, large convenience store. Awkward size for both.UPDATE: new truck lot paved and expanded. 4 stars!July 4th update: be aware that local group sells fireworks in lot. Takes away about 4 parking spaces. Hazmat be aware also.

It was first Saturday of the new year 2020 and walk in and interact with the workers of the store and everyone of them acted like they did not want to be there... love the food, store seemed clean, things seemed to be in order for the lunch crowd they maybe expected ... I always find it so disappointing when I walk into a convenient store and the clerks always have one on one interaction and they act like they hate me or the day or just having to work...Maybe they need some training at quick trip to learn how you treat customers.

Just stopped in and observed a young lady arranging unwrapped Hostess cakes in a display case...then walk over to check someone out, handling filthy money. No gloves. Back and forth...food then money, food then money and brushing her hair back. Gross.
