I recently visited DG for shopping essentials, hoping for a seamless and pleasant experience. However, to my dismay, it turned out to be a shopping trip I would rather not repeat. While the store boasts a better stock than other locations, the overall cleanliness and organization left much to be desired.Upon entering the store, I immediately noticed the unkempt aisles and scattered merchandise. The floors appeared dirty, and several shelves were in disarray, making it challenging to find items efficiently. The lack of organization not only affected the shopping experience but also raised concerns about product freshness and hygiene.Despite the store's better stock compared to other locations, the quality of some items was questionable. I found myself having to inspect products carefully before purchasing, which added unnecessary time and frustration to my shopping trip. Additionally, the lack of clear signage and aisle markers made it difficult to navigate the store and locate specific items.Another issue I encountered was the customer service, or rather the lack thereof. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, making it challenging to get assistance when needed. Simple inquiries were met with indifference, further contributing to the overall negative experience.In conclusion, while [Store Name] may offer a better stock than other locations, the subpar cleanliness, disorganization, and lackluster customer service make it a shopping experience I do not wish to repeat. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and takes steps to improve the store's overall condition and customer experience.

Dirty store.. under stocked .. rude and very confrontational .. very unprofessional.. replace that establishment with something more functional for the community.Take your camera.. take pictures.. record and submit to corporate because you’ll get nowhere with management

Not always stocked. Needs more cashier's. Closes before closing time. Needs to be cleaned. Although, in the past 3 months has been getting better. Edit. 2 years later. Nobody ever answers the phone. When they do. Not much help! Then they close when they want too! Not cool at all. Always shutting it down because they want too. I don't understand if it is a corporate company. There should be mandatory corporate hours. Not just regular employees shutting the store down because they want to go home. Makes no dang sense. Had this trouble since it opened.

They stayed open just long enough for me to get inside and pick up the things I needed, but at the same time I didn't like that the workers had already locked the doors before 9pm. I just got lucky while someone was leaving they held the door open for me to walk in. So thank you, whoever you are. The workers I'm sure we're just tired and ready to go home which I can understand, but at the same time I don't have a vehicle, so I have to walk to every store I want to go to. So that's why it really would've sucked for me if that person wasn't there to let me in.

Dollar General is convenient. Everything is easy to find. Prices are great and quality of merchandise is outstanding. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Courteous and store is organized and clean. I Would invite shoppers to go and see for themselves. You won't be disappointed.

Not organized at all. Good selection of products, but in my opinion, it would be much more shopper friendly if the products were put together with others that were similar. Also, I'm not sure if they are short-staffed, but it appeared so, because the whole store appeared as though they were in the process odd of re-modeling. Hence the boxes amd product all over sales floor. Possibly a safety liability. I did notice some really cute clothing on the racks. Meaning either there is a new buyer, or things are may be on the upside. Very few employees.

This is definitely the most disorganized retail outlet in town. Most of the inventory is always sitting in boxes on carts scattered about the store. Staff is not unfriendly, but do lack the type of service skills generally found in a retail shop. I will say the location is spot on, especially with the new college dorm located across the street. Hopefully management can bring this store up to its potential.

Needs a new building. Needs better management . Never has shopping carts available. Carts are used for stocking not customers. To be fair most of the employees are nice and have to deal with a difficult job like waiting on 20 customers because management won't come help.

The cashier that waited on me is a young boy and he was not friendly at all he was more interested wanting to go and visiting with his friends it's not the first time it seems like every time I go in there he's always ready to go. And when he is asked where something is at or if you ask him to help you, with something he is visiting with friends. Don't know his name because he don't wear a name tag. I do like to shop in the store

I hate to say this but they really need to clean this store and keep it up. 5 people in check out and the Manager did not open another register. Customer service is very bad. This is a great location and much needed store for downtown and west side residents. I hope the owners realize this could be a great store it just needs leadership.

Today (September 10th 2020) my husband and brother stopped in to get a some soda and chips. My brother bought 2 cans of Pringles and a 1 Coke. The lady checked out my brother and put all 3 items in a bag with the receipt. My brother put the bag in my husbands cart because my husband wasn't done shopping. When my husband walked to the register with the cart with Dr. pepper. As he was starting to check out, the lady accused my husband of stealing the stuff in the bag. A receipt was provided to assure the stuff was not stolen but the lady kicked him out for stuff that wasn't stolen. Dollar General just lost all my business from here on out. My husband is a USMC Veteran and would never steal. He fought for this country. Why would he steal but push his cart to the register to get checked out? Makes no sense to me. My brother came home and showed me what was purchased (1 Coke and 2 Pringles) but the cashier kept the receipt for the stuff purchased.

Woman rung up wrong price for an item I purchased and when I proved it she told me I had to go to the end of a very long line (that wasn't there when I orginally checked out) to get the price correction. For their mistake. Bogus. With all of the money I spent there...never again. All if my business will go to the one in the next town...

The last two times I have HAD to go to THIS horribly messy, unsanitary, unorganized, chaotic disaster that calls itself a store I have arrived highly optimistic with a very good attitude thinking it may be better this time. It is a DOLLAR General store. I DO NOT HAVE ANY EXPECTATIONS OTHER THAN GET IN GET WHAT IS NECCESSARY FOR MY NEEDS AND GET OUT.My last two(2) visits ended this stores business opportunity to earn my business ever again.To begin with there was not a line at the registers that were attended by two employees. No greeting, no big deal I didn't expect one. I had to take three detours to get to the beauty product isle because of all the merchandise littering the Isles, mind you I was not using a cart. When I made it to the isle, there were only two or three items to chose from on the rsck or shelves. ALL. I MEAN THAT LITERALLY. ALL OF THE MAKE-UP WAS TOSSED RANDOMLY ON THE BOTTOM METAL THING THAT IS NOT A SHELF. I did look through a few pieces to see if what i needed were even there. But after I picked up yet ANOTHER BROKEN OR CRUMBLED piece of OPEN & USED make-up I went to the register purchased a Pepsi. Politely asked the cashier what had happened to the make-up isle when she told me they had just been so busy no one had time to put new things.Seriously. I quit.

This is the worst dollar general I've ever been to. Theres never any employees there and if there is, their in the back messing around talking. The store is DISGUSTING. The floors are dirty and sticky and theres never any product on the shelves, it's always on the floor in boxes. Dont waste your time here. Every time I've been in here customers end up leaving because no one will check them out.

The shelves are bare. They've been out of Pinesol for over a month! I'm wondering if they are closing and not telling the public. The store is always dirty. The employees have been extremely rude (except for the past week. May be new ones?) This is the only store on this part of town and its ran down horrible. The air conditioning doesnt work in the summer. No shopping carts to be found. It's really sad.

Place is a mess stuff stocked incorrectly. Unsanitary and no public bathroom. And for students trying to work find a different job they'll fire you without telling you just because you aren't available 24/7 .

First and last time shop here. Floors were dirty, shelves were half stocked and 3 product gondolas blocked the aisles. All kinds of thuggy characters were hanging out in the parking lot. No thanks!!

There's always awesome deals and with it being the only store in the west side of town, it's convenient. But the store is Super Disorganized AND they always just have one checker and a huge line during the busiest time of the day, after 5pm.

This is literally the absolute worst dollar general I’ve ever been too. Everything is a mess in there and they only open one register at a time while 10 people wait in line. I literally finally got to checkout and the lady started texting on her phone before she checked my stuff out. I love dollar general but this location is so pathetic.

It isnt the employees at all but this store continues to be a cluster mess. It is just disorganized and a wreck most every time i go in. It also does not remain stocked well at all. Shame.

My fiancee and I get all her son's stuff here we love the point system and prices, returns for exchange or cash is at that great get more off marketplace or listings in the paper but still love it!!!😁🎮👾🕹️🎮🖲️🖥️

This store in okmulgee is the uncleanest place I've ever been in and the cashier looked like they just plucked him off the sidewalk? Clothes where dirty wasn't aware that they used white shirts thought they are supposed to be black? His was getting there

All in all it's a great place. However they have 10 baskets 5 are used when they have merchandise to stock, and the other four yes there's only one that works, the wheels do not work.

This store is great for quick visits. It maybe just a little more than walmart or cox, but you cannot beat the convenience.
