This Winco location is better than most grocery stores in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The other two WinCo locations (Midwest City and Moore) ate slightly better than this location. Like all WinCo locations, this location has the best bulk foods section available in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. This location has: a bakery, bulk foods, a deli, and all the other standard features of a large grocery store except for a pharmacy. The only weak points at this location are the restrooms, they could have been cleaner. Some people find bagging your groceries as a negative, but this is what keeps prices down. If you haven't checked out a WinCo, I highly recommend doing so.

I LOVE this store... UNTIL I go to the checkout. One staff lane and 7 self-checkout. Seems like it's a minimum of 2 self-checkout machines are down, on Average. Of the 7, only 3 can take cash at all (and usually one of the broken).90% of the time (being generous) there is a line for checking out, and the holdup is usually on cash accepted machines, and can be empty card only machines (no credit card accepted).If you don't mind a line because the store management are low IQ, it's a great place to shop.

We normally don't shop at this location, but was in the area so decided to get some of our weekly groceries. While we got everything we were looking for, the condition of the store was less appealing. Had to go through 3 baskets to get one that rolled decently... The store and checkout lanes were pretty dirty and the belt didn't work on the cashier's end... So had to go back n forth to move my groceries down to bag and empty my basket.

The first time my husband and I came here, the store was so big, the isles were big enough for three carts. There was such a variety of food, bakery goods, produce, meat and cleaning supplies. There was everything in this store except for fresh flowers, the prices were excellent. We will be back, besides there being no fresh flowers I didn't like the fact that you couldn't use credit cards.

This place is a joke! 10:10 pm self check out was closed. Not supposed to be closed until 11 pm. One register open and at least 15 people in line. The Produce department is trash. The employees would rather be anywhere else and the fact that they would NOT open another register is just proof that Oklahoma grocery stores are the worst. Locally owned grocery stores in Oklahoma are trash. PERIOD!!!!

Really good prices and a lot of different items, but they don't accept credit cards. Waits can be long at certain times of the day. You have to bag your own groceries, but at least they give you bags. Really nice bulk section. They got fresh sushi which is on sale on Wednesdays. Overall, this is my favorite grocery store I've ever been to. The downsides of this place shouldn't be an issue for a rational adult.

The sushi here is always fresh! And so very tasty! 🤤😋 I used to never eat sushi before but my daughter had some of the Famous Sushi Sale Wednesday's Special for just $5.. and that is a tray that is usually $30. So if you like 🍣sushi, you can find out if you like it from here for just five bucks. Not a bad deal at all. Have a wonderful day! 💕

Be careful. I was going to this store every other day. Last few months there were not very pleasant interactions with the store stuff. They are advertising low prices, then charge more. On 03/31/2024 I was overcharged again. I wanted to make a return because of this and I was told that there is just one shift manager at 10:30 p.m. He tryed to make me wait 12 customers with full carts for a refund. Somebody else showed up after 5 minutes claiming he is the night shift manager and trying to convince me I can't read English. After another 10 minutes walking around the store and not finding the prices I was charged we go to a register and he tells me he can't can't give me cash back.and he tells to back to the other register and wait again. Not my favorite store anymore.

The only thing really good there are the prices. It is very competitive, and in some cases beats Walmart pricing. They do nothing to maintain their shopping carts and many of them have bad wheels; very inconvenient. Rarely is there more than 5 of the 7 self checkout registers actually working. Last time I was there there were 3 working, and long lines. They have few full service registers open. They need to rethink these areas where they fall well short of acceptable.Update: since I wrote the above I’m pretty sure they have done repair work on their carts. I have not had a bad one now for a while. Also, the self service registers have been better. Still not 100% working, but most of the time there has only been one of the seven down at a time. It seems like they may be paying attention to reviews, even though they do not write responses. I’m changing my rating from three stars to four.

Win o OKC PortlandI had a bad experience today with the cashier, I had to leave some items from my purchase, because the machine did not detect the barcode, he told me to go and get another one of the same, I did, it didn't work either. and he just look at me as if I had to figure out the solution. I have also been a cashier and in those cases you type it manually, he did not do it, nor look for any other solution. My son also had to go back to look for the codes for some other products, because he didn't have them, and when he finished scanning, he didn't want to wait for my son to come back with the codes, I told him: I won't stand in another long line to pay that. and he told me that he had to pay now. Finally, I had to leave those items too because I didn't want to entertain the line of people anymore, which was obviously long and moved quite slowly. I think a trained cashier has to have answers, solutions to these things and not expect you to simply decide to leave those items, for his lazyness It's a waste of time. Good prices, but bad customer service. In a place where this is commons, it denotes poor management too. so my complaint is not only against the employee

I only put 1 star so I could take the time to complain! Yes I'm that petty, do I care no. It's the worse place on earth. We went to the self check out, had everything in one basket. Me and my friend were going to check out separate and they stopped us saying we could not check out. They had one line open and told us to go to that line which was down the middle of a lane. Horrible place.

Great place to shop. The prices are mostly unbeatable and the unique shopping experience makes a normally dreaded grocery shopping trip surprisingly enjoyable. There are a lot of treasures in this store. It’s got a Costco-like feel without the membership requirement. Everyone’s welcome! The stores are clean and easy to navigate. Well done, WinCo ;0).Side note: I highly recommend trying the “Best Maid” Baby Dill’s. They are by far the best I’ve ever tasted. Be sure to get the “Baby Dills” in this brand. They’re so delicious 😋!

We have been shopping at WinCo (in Idaho) since 1989 and have loved everything about these stores and the experience! Having said that, the only concern I have is that the company who supplies the bulk nuts, seems to have seriously changed their source for the chopped almonds. It seems to have changed about a year ago. They are a very poor quality, flavor, texture, crispness. I have loved these for many years, but the quality is so poor now... We now live in Oklahoma, and again, the same poor quality in the chopped almonds. We love WinCo, though!

I went shopping today for the first time. During shopping my smartwatch strap came undone but I didn't notice until I got home. My app showed it still there so I called as I drove back. The staff was so helpful. CS looked and the Deli staff, one employee in particular, helped me look everywhere. Finally someone heard the alarm and turned it in. My health information is kept on it so it was very important to me. The staff is awesome. Prices are great too. Try the homemade tamales!!!

Leaving one star ... because I wasn't able to shop there... I drive an 18 wheeler, and I was told I'm not allowed in their parking lot. .... love it, I can deliver goods all over the USA, but I'm not allowed a few min to park so I can go in and make a grocery bill.... I am grateful for all the other WinCos that do allow me to park and shop, though.

Every single time my husband and I shop here it’s a nightmare! They are extremely understaffed, the lines are terribly long with no help from management and self checkout is non existent after 10. We work late and this is the only grocery store on our way home. Winco needs to go. I’d rather shop at Walmart and that’s saying something. 2 thumbs WAY down!

This is my first time living near a Winco and I am impressed. As with any grocery store there are some pros and cons, for the me pros vastly outweigh the cons and if it was a little closer to my house I might find myself here every week. The 25 minute drive means I really have to go out of my way to shop here which is a bummer.Here are my pros and cons to Winco:Pros:-GREAT prices. really, I'm an ALDI shopper most of the time and Winco is super similar in price to Aldi, beating out Walmart prices on most goods.-GREAT selection. As I mentioned I'm an Aldi shopper so the selection at this store is a massive difference. You've got all your name brands plus the Winco brand and all at great prices. I usually always find myself at two grocery stores every week because I can't get shallots or other "fancier" foods at Aldi. Winco is like the perfect hybrid of Crest and Aldi, everything you could possibly want is here but at really amazingly low prices.-Wonderful produce section. I love a great produce section. I would say Winco produce rivals Sprouts with quality and more of a selection.-Clean store. I was impressed with the clean store, however it is brand new so we'll see if this holds up over the coming years.-Great selection on organic and hard to find ingredients like gluten free needs or other dietary restrictive ingredients.-Bulk Bins- The bulk section is something to write home about. Everything from nuts and coffee to flours, pasta and candy.-Open 24 hours!Cons:-Bag your own groceries. You do have to bag your own groceries however it's much different than Aldi. They have a conveyor belt behind the checker where they place your food items after they have scanned them and you go to end and bag them with provided plastic bags. It's much more efficient that at Aldi they put everything back in your cart. Because I'm used to Aldi I don't mind this inconvenience.-Busy & Low staff. I'm not sure if they are always staffed with few people but the times I have been at peak busy times the lines were very long to check out. I went at around 8am one morning after school drop off and it was heaven. No one was there, it was glorious! So I HIGHLY recommend going at an off peak time and since they are opened 24 hours you totally can!In Between:-Extra large store. This is more a matter of preference but Winco is so big that it takes me a really long time to get through. Again, I'm used to shopping at Aldi and Winco is like the size of 4 Aldi's. But how can you get a huge selection without a huge store? ;)

I love this WinCo! They have so much to choose from including bulk items. The prices are very reasonable. The only down side is they don't take credit cards, only debit or cash. I was dissapointed that i couldn't use my credit card.

They use a awful Point of Sale system and Payment Processor, DO NOT GO HERE. You will waste your time filling your cart with groceries only to be told that you HAVE to pay via debit, even if your card doesnt have a PIN. Youll leave angry and frustrated with nothing but lost time. Ive never heard of something so stupid. Thanks for wasting my time, winco can go back to where it came from. Get out of oklahoma.

I love this place prices are great, selection is amazing and service good. The standout issue is the bulk food it's outstanding!!!! The selection of bulk foods is fantastic and tastes excellent. The prices are phenomenal. The deli is great. The pre-made food is very good and at a great price. I love this place.

WinCo foods is not very different from other grocery store. But price of most of the items are expensive than Walmart. The customer service is is not satisfactory. I was using self checkouts in winco for first time and the process is a bit different than other grocery store. The girl helped me to check out was unfriendly.

3535 NW 39th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73112, I was surprised at all they had in this store, They even had spices in bulk that you can fill smaller bottle or bring your own in to fill. Dog treats that you can fill in the bag by pounds. and so many other stuff. You should enter the store and look it over, it will surprise me if you don't buy something. I was just going to take a look and bought dog treats, not just one kind but three. Saw Pepsi, but didn't get any because I had just bought some but would have if I hadn't the price was just right. I'll be going in there again.

They need to put more cashier when it food stamp nights there always 1 or 2 cashiers and be a huge line wrapped around or they could at least leave self check out for people with less items .
