8 months later and 100 dollars lighter to end up back where I started.We commute from quite a far distance to Oklahoma city once every 2 months. We thought that OKC would have some really talented repair guys, so we brought my laptop in.I said to him that the video card wasn't engaging, and that when you restarted the computer it would show up as not functioning in the device manager after restart, and that I had reformatted the entire computer and tried to install drivers and it wasn't working. We came back 2 moths later and that's when the trouble began.He said that he had run a virus scan and that the computer was full of viruses (How could that be the case on a brand new install after everything was reformatted? The only programs on the computer were 1 game and a browser?) But I tend not to assume malice on people's part and just assumed he got my lap top mixed up with someone else's in his mind. The problem though is that he didn't listen to what I said, the video card still showed a problem in the device manager after restart and he tested the video card by running some dinky game and engaged the mother board video card which is like a backup video card if the main one isn't working that is much weaker.By this point we had already paid 100 dollars to have what was essentially a virus scan and nothing else done. So we brought it back and he said he'd take another look.I was already a bit annoyed but the next part is why I give a two star review, is because as far as i could tell he just kept forgetting about my laptop. 2 weeks, 3 weeks or even a month would go by with no word from him. I would have to call him to get a status update and there was seemingly no progress. This just kind of kept going on for months, and eventually he said he was waiting for a new device that would allow him to "bake" the motherboard, where you heat it up to hopefully fix any lose connections by heating it up. So he did this and it didn't work, and it has been almost 7 months at this point and he finally says that he'll have to replace the motherboard. The first quote he gives us is for 350 dollars for a new mother board, and we call back a few days later and the price has gone up to 500 dollars. So I just got the laptop back because if I need to put in a new mother board I can do it myself.In a big city like oklahoma I really thought that these repair guys would be capable of doing stuff like soldering, and checking wattage with multimeters, and replacing capacitors, but the stuff that he did is stuff that I could pretty easily do, and there's nothing wrong with that, but if something is outside your wheel house it shouldn't take 8 months for your customers to find that out. I think this is probably a great repair shop if you've never built your own pc and don't know the difference between a GPU and a CPU, but if you know a thing or two about computers you should probably look elsewhere.

Wonderful experience working with them! My computer is my life, so when it started acting funny I knew to bring it in. Turns out my hard drive was failing and was why my computer was slow. I couldn't ask for a better experience with them. Quite the affordable computer repair as well. I will recommend them to all my friends!

The owner lacks communication skills. And was unwilling to assist in anyway. I’m sure if I had a month to wait for my pc he may have helped me but he had nothing but excuses as to why my repair was too much for him. Gave me a pick up time and stillHad my pc in pieces and was ok sending it back with me in that condition.

Great place to get your computer fixed! It was a quick turnaround time to get my hard drive swapped and cloned to a solid state drive, my processor regreased and everything fixed. Will definitely be going back again to the king.Recommend their service 100%

I told him that my display needed to be replaced. He instead thought it was a hardware issue that would be a cheap easy repair. 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing from him. I call asking about my computer and he said it wasn’t a hardware problem and the display needed to be replaced. It would cost 600-800 dollars(which I expected). I told him I was probably not going to go through with it, but would like my computer back. I was expecting my computer to be returned the way I brought it to him. Instead when he returned it, he gave me my computer with a bag with all the screws that go with my computer. In addition, it was missing the Apple wifi antenna and you need the specific screwdrivers to put the computer back together. Very disappointed how this was handled. I would have rather attempted making this repair myself to see if I could get it to work, rather than having to jump in mid assembly and figure out where things should go.

Best desktop fix in OKC! I had a failing power supply which was corrupting things. On a sunday they regreased 3 cards, swapped the power supply, got more space on the drive and fixed it.Couldn't be happier! Affordable computer repair in OKC for sure.

My computer crashed when trying to do a system restore. I took it to King Electronics and they installed a new hard drive and transferred over all of my files. It was done quickly too. Very impressed. Highly recommend them.
