A great shop owned by some great people. This is my go-to gun shop in OKC. They do the cheapest transfers in town and they have great prices on new and used guns. They always have a wide variety of firearms to choose from. This is also the best place in town to consign firearms you’d like to sell. 10/10 highly recommend.

Good pawn shop so two stars. But they currently have a sword in store on consignment. It’s listed as a Kingston arms brand but it’s really an cas hanwei brand sword. The Kingston is worth $150 more than the hanwei. I informed them of this. Came in today. Almost a month later. And it’s still for sale as a Kingston not a hanwei. This is like selling a bushmaster ar15 as a colt ar15. Just dirty if you ask me but be warned do not buy the claymore from this store that sword brand new is $239.99. They’re asking $100 more than it costs new! for a used one. And sadly they know it. And just don’t care. This hurts the integrity of their business.Edit if it’s a Kingston like the one in the picture from kult of Athena I’ve posted. where’s the classic Kingston forge mark and disc pommel? Haha I am kind of an expert thanks for saying it though. You have a mark less ball shaped pommel cas hanwei. The guy is scamming you guys!

I am from San Antonio Texas and I come to visit family in Oklahoma City, every time I do come into town, I stop by Sooner State Pawn, I’ve known Todd now for at least seven years, some of the most honest sincere people I’ve ever met, they work with the community and don’t overcharge people, I’ve bought hundreds of dollars of items from here because their prices are extremely fair and reasonable. it’s really rare to find this level of honesty and character in people nowadays much less from pawn shops but I am really thankful for Todd and his team, probably one of the best stores in Oklahoma.

Extremely unprofessional store, ignorant of firearms laws and they were completely disrespectful to me after i have purchased numerous items from themEDIT: I'm glad people can see how personal this business gets when people criticize them in how they handle things, also I would like to add that sending guns and ammunition to California is legal as long as it is sent to an FFL, it is absolutely absurd that the owner of this store resorted to calling me vulgar names over the phone of which i will not repeat here all because this "business" cant fill out a form that takes less than 5 minutes to fill out this is not the kind of review or comment I ever wanted to make about this store but after the discriminatory treatment I have received I will not be silentUpdate: I know I will not be forgiven but I thank them and the many other gun shops who tried to keep me from being scammed on accident...... First time customer, I had two transactions yesterday, one a purchase and one a sale. My purchase required them to disassemble and reassemble a firearm . They treated me very fairly on purchasing a firearm from me. I am so impressed. Roxy was friendly and makes you as a customer feel welcome immediately. Incredibly knowledgeable and super service! By far the worst experience I've ever had. It's as if they don't want "BLACKS" in their establishment. Not one person tried to help me , everything I asked they didn't know but they're arms dealers. When female did decide to help she act like it hurt her to her soul to answer questions. Then she just walked off and started helping a co-worker saying she was the only shipping person in the building. Poor communication skills nonpeople oriented

Great pawn shop! They have a pretty good size firearms section. All of the employees were friendly and one took a few minutes of time to show me a few handguns he thought might work for my needs. They seem to be pretty knowledgeable about guns so if you’re looking for one you might check them out. Didn’t end up buying a handgun, but I’ll definitely be coming back to check out what they have in stock. I did buy a Blu ray player and a few movies. So far the Blu-ray has worked great and they gave me a 30 day warranty on it which is longer than some other pawn shops.

They have a huge selection sporting and deer rifles and pistols for a pawnshop. Got a deal on a item that I was after for a long time but price was a problem. Long story short they saved me $250 on a consignment item that was maybe used once then cleaned and sold. Love it, will come back again

Have dealt with Todd and his staff since they opened the first store on SW 59th St. The 23rd street location is always clean with nicely displayed merchandise, and the guys are very knowledgeble in firearms. I have bought and sold here for years and they are always faor and very competitive on prices and give great deals. If you want honesty and fair prices, this is the place to go.

This is the most honest pawnshop ever! They asked me how much I wanted for something and i told them and the lady who was helping me was like “that’s all you want? No we can do more than that” while most pawnshops wouldve tried to undercut my original asking price. And for that I give 5 stars!
