I came to PetSmart at 63rd and North May because I saw an online dog bed at a great price and I wanted to see if they had the same bed in stock. When I approached a young lady that was supposed to be a manager she was very rude, she did not have a name tag on so I could not identify her. However my grandson wanted a hamster. There happened to be another young lady in the store her name was Kayla. She made the rest of my shop shopping experience so awesome, she was kind patient and had a whale of knowledge about all of her products. She changed my whole mood and I was sorry to hear that she will not be continuing at this store but will go to another location. Kayla will be a great leader for whatever location. I took my little guy in for a haircut at this location. I made it very clear that he has a clasped trachea and it is noted on his account. When I came back to get him, there was a complete misunderstanding (on my part). He just got a bath. So I scheduled to bring him back for his haircut the following Friday. He started coughing very severely right after his appt. He has all of shots, to include kennel cough. I called to ask if a leash was put around his neck and not on his body, because of the cough and trachea issue. Of course, I was told no and that he would need clearance from the vet before he could come back, due to him coughing. I was told there was TRAUMA to his trachea. This tells me a leash was put around his neck. This could have killed my fur baby. What harm does it take to read that he has a clasped trachea and go an extra step. He isn't an aggressive baby at all. He's the sweetest thing. It took me over a month on meds to get him better. I recently took him to get a haircut and he knew what was going on. He shook and cried all the way to the new place (which is an individual). This has NEVER happened before. Thankfully, she was very gentle with him and slowly we will get him past this trauma.

If I could give negative 100 I would!!! I am so very angry! The last time I took my 16-year-old dog to be groomed, the groomer Ashley H. severely cut/burned the underneath of my 16-year-old dog's tail!!! She knew she did it due to the fact when I came into the grooming shop to get my dog, she saw me coming and quickly handed my dog to the cashier and went into the back room!!! I had no idea there was anything wrong with my dog until a few days later when I noticed something on my dog's tale and when I went to look at her tail, I discovered the horrific thing that had been done to my poor 16-year-old dog!! Her tail was bleeding and infected and I had to get her to my Vet and spent 325.00 for medicine to heal my dog's tail! It has been 23 days, and her tail is still healing, and she is not the same dog!! I just cannot believe someone could do something like that to a 16-year-old dog and be such a coward about it!! If she would have just told me what she did I could have taken my dog immediately to the Vet and saved my poor dog a whole lot of pain and stress and anxiety, and myself for that matter!!! Ashley H you should be ashamed of yourself, and you need to take extra care with an animal of that age!!!! I will never use PetSmart for grooming or anything for that matter ever again!! And if something bad (death) happens to my dog because of this!!! Guess what I will be doing????

They have everything that a PetSmart should as well as helpful staff. This particular store needs some TLC. It is looking pretty run down. So are its neighbors so maybe the businesses gave up on this part of town.

Came here to buy my guppies after petco across the street turned me down (they waited until after they closed to acknowledge me in the fish section and then turned me away because they were closed) and the guy who helped my husband get my fish was so kind. He went out of his way to grab us one of each color and the biggest ones in the tank. Thanks a lot!

The store, like most of the PetSmarts, she was talking about her inside by the door is a little overpriced for most of their products. But they do have some good specials now and then. I also like how they let customers bring their well-behaved pets into the store.

Waited 20 minutes to buy dog food with 3 registers going. Just left the food in a buggy and left to go to Petco across the street. Petco had 1 cashier, but I was able to check out in under 5 minutes.

Went for chihuahua coats. Found everything we needed and then some. Quality durable outfits that kept my fur baby warm for a week in the snow. In Texas now so put them in her luggage for now. A little pricey though but so is everything now days. Paid $25 for a goodie and $30 for a new coat.

Kayla and the grooming department at PetSmart are absolute lifesavers! They have transformed my dog's grooming experience into a luxurious treat every time. An attitude is not necessary I had to come up here anyway so I placed an order before I came up there to pick up some items I went over to Banfield did what I had to do before I left I asked if the order was ready and that was all this older heavy set woman got upset with me for even asking that question stating that I needed to wait at least 2 hours for even heading up here I said all I asked if it was ready and that was it you didn't have to get rude with me you could have just said it wasn't ready and left it at that

Grooming salon ladies are really unprofessional. My dog was cut. Noticed when I got home and when I called she said that she forgot to tel me and that it wasn't their problem if the dog gets hurt while in their care

Very clean and the employees are so friendly. They're attentive, personable, and helpful. (On that note - These people have more to their job than following you around to offer assistance at the precise moment you need it. Odds are they're happy to help you if you just ask when you see them. I don't get why people complain about that in reviews. I've been here several times and have yet to feel like I didn't have help available. They always check on me while I'm indecisively milling around the fish section.) Of the options closest to me, I intend to make this my primary fish store. The employees make accurate recommendations to customers and they seem to care about proper fish and aquarium maintenance. Well done.

I take my pomeranian to this location for grooming. Every time we've been there the groomers have all been so kind and caring to my baby. He's anxious with new people, but they love him there and always make him look adorable. He leaves with a pep in his step every time! Cherie, Wendi, and Chelsea are our favorites 💙

Staff was super helpful and friendly and surprisingly very knowledgeable when we went in to purchase a bearded dragon. We got everything we needed plus more and we'll definitely go to this location for any future purchases.
