I’m a new fish mom and over fed my tetras(glo fish) and they all died. The employees were great, they replaced the fish with a positive attitude. Then they gave me fish lessons - they taught me about the wrong/right ways to care for fish. I learn something every time I go there. Very knowledgeable and fantastic customer service

Came in before closing and no one helped us grab fish until 5 minutes passed after closing only to be told they can’t help us because they’re closed. Apparently it’s my fault no one assisted us before they closed. This is the same petco that suffocated over 20 fish trying to acclimate them to their water and when I pointed it out I was told they were just hanging out. Yeah, in fishy heaven. Negligent and unprofessional. Won’t be returning even though this is the closest to us. The one in Edmond is way better and cleaner with a lot more fish to choose from. Or better yet just go to petsmart across the street. They’re cleaner, CHEAPER, bigger space between isles so you’re not crashing into things, and better customer service than any petco I’ve ever been to.

I went to Petco to price getting a bird and the necessary things I would need to have bird again. I checked all their prices including the price for the bird I wanted. Then went to another store to compare prices and Petco prices were way better than any I found.

If I could give zero stars I would. They are lying chests who are over priced and they lie. Don’t go for their membership- they say you can cancel it but they don’t actually stop the payments. Then you have to get new stuff because they won’t stop it. I’ll never shop here again and I’ll be sure to tell my friends to go elsewhere. Terrible

There was lady there feeding the animals and I was looking for a cat scratching post she was busy but still answered my question and was willing to take me to where it was . I told her I could go on my own and I didn’t want to interfere with what she was doing and she also helped my handicapped friend she was very kind and professional but I didn’t get her name but was very very nice 😊 she had lots of tattoos and very short hair .Very nice 😊

I bought a betta fish yesterday and Day was a big help! I called the store to ask about buying a betta fish, and Day said she’d be more than happy to help me when I got there. She was very knowledgeable on the matter! She helped me pick out everything I needed, and also gave me her opinion on decorations, which is awesome because I’m so indecisive. I like how she wasn’t just trying to get me in and out, and actually cared about helping me. She’s very friendly and personable also.

The pick up was ready in a flash, which made things very convenient. The quality of the products (which were Christmas cookies) we’re not only a hit with my dog, but were perfect for my dogs Christmas TikTok video lol

I don't normally write bad reviews. I'd rather lift business up then be negative but this was awful. Firstly there was no carts. I left my stroller at home and was just going to sit him in th cart but there wasn't a single one. Which was strange because there wasn't that many customers. As I walked around I saw 5 filled with products to go on shelves but no one shelving. Carrying my 27lb kid around just so the store can use the carts that are supposed to be for customers irritated me a bit but I moved on. Until they didn't have any of the cat food I came in for. On top of that I barley found it. There wasn't any visible signage. Before leaving in frustration I went to the bathroom and didn't even want to use the toilet paper. It was cover in dust like it had been sitting on the floor and wasn't in the holder, just on top of the assistance bar. The sink had food and hair in it. The water fountain was blocked by box's. It was a mess! The ferret cage looked like the pooped hadn't been cleaned out in day. I honestly feel bad for the animals that are here. I just ended up at pet smart right down the road. I just figured I'd give it a try and I didn't like anything I saw. I wasn't ever greeted. Just so you know everyone at pet smart was super friendly and asked me if I needed help. Plus there was plenty of carts and the food I needed clearly labeled. Definitely do not recommend this store. Don't waste you're time going in. Just keep driving down 63rd, the pet smart is after the light.

It was a long drive from where I live, but I feel like it was worth it.The animals all looked very active and healthyThey had comparative prices to other pet stores.Betta selection was great and I ended up purchasing a female marble (koi).I would go back and I'd recommend this particular location to other pet owners.

Very helpful service. Parakeets are very colorful and active. Tip- when buying a live pet, if that pet dies within the 30 day return date... YOU MUST HAVE THE PAPER PRINTED STORE RECEIPT and bird with you in order to have it replaced.. NOT the electronic receipt... Luckily, they helped me and they were very nice while doing so...( UPDATE )We have had this little yellow bird since September 2021 and he is the BEST BIRD EVER!! Sunny, he is the funniest little bird and has the cutest personality!! The best part is....HE TALKS!! HE DOES IMPRESSIONS AND MIMICS PEOPLE WHILE DOING ACROBATS WITH HIS TOYS!! He was around our father alot while the kids were at school during the day, sadly we lost dad last week.. Little did we know this little bird started saying things that he picked up hearing dad say, there's just no words for how special this is!! I promise, if you are looking for a bird and spend the time interacting with it.... You will find yourself with a new little buddy!!

Killer sale going on with Dog food. I went in looking for Lame, or Duck with Sweet potato for my sweet service 🐕‍ she has a sensitive tummy like I do, so I went looking all over the city for these special treats, but, never found them. Went home and ordered them on line. Overall a Good Store. 👍

Pets look healthy, stores a little in array everytime I go but it's in array in a kind of organized way, they have lots of variety for you to choose from for your pets, cleanliness I would give it about a 7 or 8 just because of the piles of things everywhere but wiped down wise and floor wise it looks clean, even the tanks for the animals

Service was average. I had placed an online order to be brought out to my car. Nobody responded to the check in. I attempted multiple times. When I walked into the store there were three people behind the counter with no line. I assumed they were busy but they were not. I did receive my order and it was fulfilled the way it should be. They have everything u culd possibly want or need for your pet. We have a snake, sum fish, a cat, n 3 dogs n we found wut each and every one of our pets needed here; wish only that it was a lil less expensive! But overall, love the variety and the customer service was great also

Cres helped me with several questions I had. She had no reason to believe that I was going to make a purchase, but she still helped me perfectly. I wound up buying a Goldfish from her, not intending to buy anything when I went in the store (I just wanted some information). She is very knowledgeable; she really is a true expert. They refused to groom my German Shepherd after I told them she has hip problems. They have hydraulic tables, but refused to use it with my German Shephard. They don't have a vet clinic or vet staff on hand, and they are not accessible for pets with disabilities or health problems. Please do not use them.

Staff is friendly. Too many boxes in the aisle. Internet lists products as in store. Wanted mite treatment ZODIAC KILLER, Zodiac Fleatrol products it none. Sigh. Almost got a pet chameleon and out fit of a Viking but that would eat the wild mice in my apartment. Can't live ☮️ peaceably with a couple of predators. Peace out.
