I went to Pep Boys, needing to purchase and replace the front wiper blades on my SUV. Alex was the only one working the desk, but was very courteous, efficient, and friendly. He immediately informed me that as soon as he finished up with another customer, he'd replace my wipers. Alex was juggling multiple customer concerns, but remained patient and professional, and still got me in and out quickly. I appreciated his excellent customer service!

Had a 1:00 appointment for transmission fluid. Arrived at 1:00. Was told they had to inspect the transmission before they could do anything. Ok, that's fine. Helped a girl that came in after me with a bad battery. Told another girl that her brakes were fine even though she insisted that they were squealing. They were pretty condescending to her. At 3:00 I asked the guy what time it was, "3:00" and what time was my appointment? "Oh, I don't know," I told him it was at 1:00 and it was two hours later and my truck hadn't moved. All they had to do was move my truck and do their job. When I told him that they had lost my business, he sarcastically replied, "Well, that's unfortunate." IT WASN'T EVEN BUSY!!! There was only one vehicle in the bays and no one was doing anything.This place is a joke. They might look at your car if you are an attractive female, but they won't show you respect.

My opinion... Save your time and money and go somewhere else.This will be the last time i go here. Billed at $158/hr to replace an oil pan gasket, electric fans coming on even in 37 deg weather, AC compressor making noises and 2nd time looking at my brand new brakes squealing. Only thing fix/diagnosed was my oil pan gasket that was replace at $158/hr. Told my brakes squeal because they just do.. Their resolution to my brakes, to bring it back a 3rd time and have them look at it... What are you going to find this time? You already had my truck 2 times before for 2 days total of time with no answers. A 3rd will make no difference.

The tire technician was fast did a great job making sure everything was balanced correctly. Was careful when taking off the tires and putting them back on. He even wipes down everything he touches to make he didn’t leave any black marks on the car. I will definitely recommend coming here to get tires put on you vehicle. And they were the cheapest price I found to install tires around town. Great guys for sure.

Alex was awesome! Had a blow out driving down the highway late on a Friday and Alex assured me he would stay until I could get there and get my tire fixed. I arrived maybe 10 minutes before they were going to be closing and he had no problem staying late and even had my new tire already pulled into the bay when I arrived!

ONLY PepBoys location in OKC worth your business! Called the other two locations prior to this one and they wouldn’t even schedule me!!! The Walker location said they would call back in 2-5 minutes—90 minutes later no call. The NW Expressway location was RUDE and tried to say she needs my tire size prior to helping me—as though in 2024 she cannot look such things up in 5 seconds. This location scheduled me for an appointment to take care of me and the young man on the phone was respectful and helpful.

Waste of time. Don't waste yours. I called and scheduled an appointment for 10a this morning to have my tires rotated and balanced. I was told this service usually takes about an hour or less. Historically, with an appointment, I've never had this take more than 45 minutes. I arrived at 9:50a and stood at the check in desk until after 10a when someone finally asked if I needed help. Checked my vehicle in and sat down. About 11a I asked if there was an estimate on when my vehicle would be completed since it hadn't moved from the parking space I parked in. Was told, maybe about 12p. I told them I needed to be out of there by 11:45 due to a later appointment and having to get this vehicle back to my wife and pick up my car, etc. I was told they would see what they could do and I said, if it won't be until after 12 then I'd rather know now so I could just leave. Waited another 20 minutes and at 11:20a I was told they weren't going to get to it so I left.Out of work for over two hours this morning for a simple tire rotation and balance that I had an appointment for that couldn't be completed within two hours.Based on some of the other reviews they definitely seem to be understaffed. The staff was nice and pleasant. I think they're just making do with the situation they've been put in and don't have a way to get to everything in a day that comes in. Definitely not blaming the staff as they were as helpful as they could be. Wouldn't suggest this place unless you can just drop off your car and pick it up the next day or days later.

The manager Matt, was very unprofessional. I waited 20 minutes for him to come from; Im assuming his office. When he came out he quickly said sorry , he was looking at video footage, but instead of assisting me he kept playing investigator to a prior incident. In the midst of this I told him that my service would go a lot faster if he would have assisted the me (the customer that was actually in the store, instead of listening to me and calling the number he wanted to argue and prove how he was in the right and then he called to further process the transaction.

Extremely disappointing experience. Made 8:00 am appointment, was first customer through the door, another car put in shop before me. Mounting four new tires took 3.5 hours. Shop was disorderly and tire tech did not seem to be in any hurry. Tires and prices were good, but service experience was poor. Won't be back.

I have a wonderful experience everytime I go, Chris Is the CSA employee at that location I’ve seen since I’ve been here in 2017. He talks and treats me well and very polite and respectful!!! He deserves recognition for is hard work and efforts trying to handle these customers that can be very stressful.Congrats man I’m in your corner!!

So, I purchased a cash vehicle that is still under warranty. The place I got it from said I just needed breaks and a tune up.I went ahead and took my vehicle to Nissan after and the told me there were issues with the transmission, transfer case, breaks, and air filter.I called the place I got the vehicle from and they told me to bring it back so THEY could inspect it again and told me nothing was wrong. They said if their warranty people come out and see nothings wrong then it will be out of pocket.So, I brought my vehicle to PepBoys to get a 120 inspection. They found that my transmission had to dipstick, some residual on the transfer case, the vehicle was missing some clamps holding it together, the battery terminals weren’t secure, and even physically showed me damage to balljoints, rotars etc.They showed me more damage than the Nissan dealership, and the place I got the vehicle from.

The reviews stating long wait times are generally accurate. They are understaffed, and ownership refuses to get the help the shop desperately needs. That said, the staff is very willing to talk with you about what happened and resolve the situation. I had a great informative discussion today about my wait. I will likely still go back. I just have to remember that the wait will be long. Prices are great, and the staff is very friendly despite being obviously exhausted and overworked.

I took my vehicle and my son's vehicle and my appointments were both for 10:30. I was told that it would take 1-2 hours. 7 hours later, I was still there waiting for tires to be installed on both of my vehicles. This was not acceptable. I was told at checkout that they didn't know why it took so long. Very disappointed customer!!

I had a great experience here at Pep Boys! One of my back tires had a nail in it and all of my four tires had low tread. Before I came to Pep Boys, I looked at the reviews and started to not come here. I’m glad I did. They responded promptly to me back answering all questions, very knowledgeable with great customer service skills. Jake and Jason were so pleasant to me and I did not feel like a stranger. These two guys here got me in and out and explained everything to me about my car. Matt works in the store and helped me right away. I would give them 10 stars if available. I will definitely come back to this place. I’m glad to encounter good people like them. It gives me hope to know that there are good people in the world.

Super dirty. Chris behind the counter seemed bothered to stop eating and help a customer. After I told him the size he recommended one tire over 200 dollars saying " Thats what we got" as ordering in wasn't an option. Save yourself the trip and go to discount tire.

Edited 6/15/22: found later that they replaced my car with the wrong size drain plug and it’s been causing my car to leak oil and destroy my oil pan. Be cautious!Quick and friendly service but you will need to set up an appointment. I have done multiple oil changes here but due to being understaffed they couldn’t do a alignment check in the morning. Also the retail side is closed for now.

Frustrating experience. I was sold 4 tires which pep boys installed. Three of the tires were made in 2022, the 4th was made in 2020. When spending this much money, I should at least get a tires that were recently made and not three years old! When I came to pick up my vehicle I noticed on my own that there was a missing lug nut on one of the wheels. When I brought this fact to workers attention they had no idea and determined the worker who installed my tires stripped the threads on the wheel studs. Apparently he didn't find it important to tell anyone. I guess he just hoped that I wouldn't notice that I had a missing lug nut with stripped threads. The employees said they couldn't fix the thread today and told me to come back another day and they would see what they could do. Furthermore, the person who balanced my tires hammered on the most weights on the outside side of the rims I have ever seen! He also scratched my rims in multiple places. It looks absolutely horrible.

Absolutely horrible. Booked my appointment on a Sunday. Went in on Tuesday 3 days later. I was there for a very simple tire alignment. This should take 45 minutes at most. They said it would take 3-4 DAYS. FOR A TIRE ALIGNMENT! And they of course did not tell me this when I was booking my appointment. Will never ever be going back her again. Plus they had all the doors locked because they were so backed up that they didn’t want to accept any customers even though they were open. This place is an absolute joke. Save you time and money and go anywhere else.

The main guy (only guy) was great but he was literally working by himself. Dropped the car off at 9am as scheduled, stopped by to check on the vehicle at 1130 and the work wasn’t even started. Was then informed that the guy who does alignments wasn’t even there and that he would hopefully show up. I was finally able to get my car at 5:30pm however the mechanic who did the work “Myron” I believe stated that he had done the best he could with the tools he had but that he couldn’t finish the job because he didn’t have the right tool but that I could bring the car back on another day and he could finish. However that clearly poses a problem being I need the car for work hence why I had scheduled it for the weekend. Now the alignment is better but it still isn’t right. And the lack of communication from the workers was absurd. No one called to let me know anything, I had to do all the leg work to check on the vehicle. And as soon as I got my car the mechanic who did the work “Myron” promptly jumped in his vehicle and left. Again Paul was nice but the communication could have been better, as for Myron’s effort or lack there of was definitely an issue

They are severely understaffed. Only one mechanic for 5 or 6 bays and only one front desk person. Pepboys corporate needs to support this shop better.The workmanship and professional services were exceptional. It just took way to long due to staffing.
