I shop at DG by my house all the time and don't have any problems. I stopped at a different one yesterday and it was nothing like my neighborhood DG. The shelves were practically bare so I wasn't able to get everything I needed. There was only one boy working the front and the line was super long. He was having trouble with everything and was clearly struggling with basic math. When I finally got to the counter I asked about my DG cash (that I guess I'll never get to spend!) I haven't found a store yet that can use it but he said when you enter your phone number it automatically uses your DG cash first. At the end of the transaction I asked him if it showed it was used. He said yes. I got my receipt and it wasn't on there. I told him about it and he said, "Well what do you want me to do about it? " I gave him quite the earful but there was a bit of an education in it for him between the cuss words. Whatever happened to good customer service?

I go in quite a bit and I'm always friendly. But today they tell me I have to take off my bag. Then as I stand in line, the person in front of me has a back pack on. I feel discriminated against! All I wanted was dog food like wow

Was asked by Store Manager if my dog was a service dog, even though he had his vest with big lettering indicating, "Service Animal." She was rude and asked me to leave. I admit that I had some choice words for her, and could have handled the situation with more understanding. Maybe she did not see the words on the vest, but it seemed as though she was not wanting my Service Dog in the store. No problem, there are plenty of other stores I can go to.

It be dirty. Make sure u check the expiration date on your food/drinks, you will also ALWAYS have to wait in a long line because the ONLY operate 1 line. The dude on the morning shift is rude!!! I've been going there longer than he have been working there n he don't care, he the only one that give me issues!! If it's not about my ID than it's him trying to charge me the wrong prices .. N I'm literally in there every single day.

This store needs to get there employees in check my granddaughter and Grandson where in this store a couple of days ago looking for some chillie they could not find it so they where going to go to the Spanish store in the same lot the girl that was working there stopped them as they where leaving and ask want they wanted my Granddaughter told her she was looking for chillie the girl then told them where it was and they headed back to where she directed them when they got there my Granddaughter say to my grandson S.O.B it not here the girl that worked there then spit at my Granddaughter my grandson then grabbed my Granddaughter and took her out of the store. I will never step foot in there again ans my grandchildren won't either.I plan on letting everyone I know what a disgusting display this employee who said she is the manager has done I gave this a 1 star only because there is not a 0 rating

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WANT TO START OFF BY SAYING I AM A BLACK WOMAN SO NOBODY GETS THIS WRONG........ THESE BLACK WOMEN ON THIS AFTERNOON SHIFT COULD BE A LOT MORE COURTEOUS!!! THEY DON'T SAY HELLO, THERE WAS COMPLETE SILENCE WHILE MAKING MY PURCHASE. IT WAS SUPER AWKWARD BECAUSE I SPOKE AND DIDN'T SO MUCH AS GET A HEY!!!!

Had to update my review. I been coming to this store since the day they opened. Today 5/18/23. This guy who is tall with piercings all over his face, and tattoos. Names Tyler (if that's even his real name). Was extremely rude to me and my 4 year old boy who has autism. I was trying to pay for my stuff when my son behind me had a kinder egg just barely touching his mouth. The guy starts yelling at me and my son because I wasn't buying the kinder egg because it touched his mouth and he put it back. Which is understandable, but he should of handled the situation differently instead of yelling at us and being rudeRudest "employee" at this store. And should NOT be working retail and dealing with customers

I love Dollar General, and I could be a dollar store review pro, since I have been to all most all the locations available in the Oklahoma city area. They hire great employees at all of them. Never had a problem. Fast, friendly and made me glad to shop there.

Clean and fairly well stocked. It's better now than a year ago when I would've given it one star.Most of the staff is friendly now. They used to not be quite as friendly.They do need to learn to stock/restock more quickly though. I am a big Monster Energy drinker, but finding the flavor that I and most others like don't ever get put in the fridge, but you can get them off the shelf at room temperature if you want to wait for an ice chest or your fridge at home to cool them off.(This goes for a lot of the refrigerated or frozen products, not just Monster.)

Bad experience!!!!!! couldn't get cold drinks. Was told at the door to "leave my bag at the door", on the ground im guessing. The lady said "sorry its the rules" after i told her "im just grabbing a couple cold drinks, then ill be in the line" after going through all of that in front of a full line and noticeing that the were several lady's with purses already in line and wondering if they put their bags on the ground while they shopped for their cart of items. Im sure not. Although i really wanted to say anything else i just left walked out the store. Poor attitude especially after being in the store several times before. Terrible

Great for quick shopping trips and the prices are usually unbeatable but the selection suffers for to the size. Their stuff is always well trained and well mannered. Back in the day we lived by a code, that the customer is always right. It appears this still holds true at Dollar general. Be I sure wish I could say that about more retail establishments but that's not the case anymore.

Store was about to close and even though I was comparing the product I was going to buy they didn't rush me along or get attitude because I was a last minute customer holding them up from getting off work. The store had good prices without all those coupons or apps and I must add, it was clean. It was raining so typically dirty shoe prints everywhere but not at this store.

Okay I'm about to contradict myself. One of the cashier's here was very nice and very helpful, i think she was middle aged and had blond hair. However there is a younger girl with long brown hair that was very rude to this young man in front of me. He was trying to buy a water and ran his food stamp card, it declined so he apologized and left. She made a comment after he left the store, and made a disgusted face and said, I knew he didn't have any money. I was so disgusted with her because it was a homeless man that just wanted water. Other than that, the stores clean and the shelves are nice and stocked.

I visit this store maybe 2 times a week. The cashiers are always friendly. Usually I see only two of the staff at a shift the cashier is always busy and the manager on duty always seems to be standing around talking to the cashier. If you got time to lean you got time to clean and as the supervisor has free movement of the store we both know the store needs to be straightened. Have you seen the clearance section? If you have your arms full of items go to a shelf and throw it all there you have this stores clearance sale. General manager you need to get a handle in your manager. Its Definately not due to the cashier's not doing their job its your fast track managers not doing theirs. Tighten up.

I like the employees at this particular Dollar general, however I'm giving it a 3 star due to the fact that it's usually dirty and they aren't always stocked up on items that I'm in need of. (Dog food, toilet paper, etc.) I have been going to a different Dollar general for this reason. If it stayed clean and fully stocked, I'd come here more frequently.

I love this store inperticular. I've lived down the road a few years now and the current employees have been by far my favorite. They truly try to keep the store Clean and always help when someone is in need. Great store great staff.

They are short handed I will say that but the staff has always been cheerful and nice conversational they are great. Nothing wrong with this store I go here almost every other day depending on the week sometimes daily. Heather and Summer are both awesome

The cashiers are rude to me about my coupons. And I usually have a lot of coupons. Like 150, but when I go to check out none get used. And the associate was the one who told me how many I had and acted like it was a bad thing. Since then I dont go to dg, I hope this gets addressed. Tia.

If you like saving money, and time, then you will love Dollar General. It is an old fashioned General store, where you can dashian pick up the few essentials year in search of, and get out quickly. And pay a lower price than you would at other types of stores. It's not elegant, and you're not going to find a lot of Staff, because that's how they help keep the price down. But it's a lot quicker getting in and out then it is at some of the large Superstores.

That's the cleanest dollar store I ever saw, them ladies be working hard, they never have merchandise crowding the aisles, everything is always organized , even the clothes area. Great job ladies, we appreciate you all.

Rude cashier's, I tried to take a garden tool back, with a receipt two hours after I bought it. It was broken but I was told it was too well used and I shouldn't try to cheat Dollar General. I'll never go back. My family spends a 1000.00 a month in there. Not anymore.Should be 0 stars!

Real friendly staff. There was a line. It seems like it's a pretty busy store. There aren't any other stores near by so that's your best luck for everything and anything. I used it as an atm stop. I believe there was a shell about 2 business down but I saw this first. F

It's up & down with this store on customer service...unfortunately, it's been worse more than better. The staff may have changed recently. Dollar General's "new policy", I can't shop there with my 5 grandkids because if someone needs the bathroom, I have to leave, so I go to Family Dollar instead.

Great Sales and Prices, Love the DG stores in general as they are pretty much like, mini 'walmarts'- in a way.. As in they carry seriously at least a tiny bit of stuff/ or small section for everything you could ever actually need. Like if they dont carry SOMETHING related to "it"-- u probably... Well b you just dont need it lmao

I live nearby and visit this store at least twice a week but only because it's the only store nearby. Not sure who the manager is but Dollar General should be embarrassed. No matter what time of day it is or how busy and long the line is they will only have one register open while multiple employees sit down and text or play on there phones. Every employee I've encountered there has been lazy and or ignorant.
