I went to Calvert’s to pick out a cactus and see about help repotting a current plant of mine. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. I love how organized it is. I bought another pot for my new plant and it was beautifully planted with moss on top. The cactus is awesome too! Calvert’s is officially my favorite plant shop!

Went to Calverts today. It was so nice seeing all of the beautiful plants and flowers. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. They have such a beautiful selection of plants. You can tell that each one gets the individual love and care it needs to thrive. This place is amazing! They also sell a small variety of crystals at a great price! I will be back!

Hidden gem! They have the largest selection of succulents I've found in the metro area including HUGE jade and aloe plants. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I absolutely love this plant shop. My family and I traveled to Okc for vacation and we stopped by so I could get a plant. ALL of the plants were thriving and everyone I talked to was so sweet!! I didn’t get her name but the girl who checked us out was a angel. She even gave us a drainage tray and box for the car ride back home. I will definitely be coming back when I get the chance! The plant I got is beautiful and the price was really good. Here she is

This place is amazing and people are wonderful! Went in just browsing and ended up leaving with a few succulents. Great prices! They were kind enough to give us some of the rougher succulents for free since they can still be saved I took them too. They also gave me free ferns! Amazing place can't believe I havnt been sooner!

I have visited every nursery and plant shop from Norman to Guthrie. Calvert's is by far my favorite, especially for house plants.Their houseplant selection constantly rotates and their quality is second to none. No I mean that. No one else around has plants that are consistently this healthy. If you find someone better, then you have stumbled into an alternate universe and chimps have taken over the world. As far as customer service is concerned, everyone here seems to have a reasonable understanding of the plants and their care. Also in my experience, everyone has been reasonably friendly-even with all the adult children running around during this pandemic.If you are looking for a rare or uncommon plant, Calvert's will often have those as well. Last month I found a Calathea Majestica White Star, a Hoya Royal Hawaiian and a Alocasia Pink Princess just to name a few. All of these were fully rooted (Not immature cuttings) which is a problem at times with local nurseries.SIDE NOTE on the PANDEMIC: I looked through a number of the reviews and some of them need to be addressed. Calvert's cannot give a retort without stirring bad publicity. So I will. If you leave a negative review based on the mask policy then you are acting irresponsible and petty. Your politics, bruised ego and need for confirmation is not a reflection of Calvert's as a business. It is a reflection of you and your insecurities. At the time of this review Oklahoma is #5 nationwide in total new infections. That is not per capita. This is in total. I am relieved that Calvert's is responsible and enforces the city wide ordinance. I only wish that every business in Oklahoma cared enough for their clients and customers to do the same.

After struggling to find a place that doesn't sell house plants with pre-rotted roots I can say I am very pleased to find somewhere that knows how to care for plants. I picked up a hoya pubicalyx splash today and I believe a sp aff burtoniae(I could be wrong on that one).

I cannot say enough about this place! They answered all my questions, gave me pet-friendly plant recommendations, and were very patient as I explored. They always answer emails/DM’s/voicemails quickly and with kindness. I appreciate them taking our safety seriously and requiring masks.

Calverts has a great selection of plants and pots. Doris is the person that has overseen my pots seasonally for 6 years. She has the plant knowledge and design that keeps everything looking great all year round! Megan, planted, pruned, cleaned up, and fed all of my plants. She absolutely loves what she does. I highly recommend using them for indoor and outdoor pots. They are the best!

The plants here are gorgeous, and the staff are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I felt good vibes as I walked through both the exterior and interior of the property. The interior was my favorite, as I felt I could breath easier in the greenhouse.Ended up walking away with a dracaena tree.

Love the plants but customer service is not their strong suit. I’ve made quite a few visits over the past couple years and every time, except once, I’ve felt so unwelcome. Feels like their counting down the seconds until I’m out of there. Thank you to the younger lady who helped check me out on my most recent visit. Wish I had gotten her name, because she was so sweet and friendly. An experience I am not used to at Calvert’s.

**Edited to reflect response. (She didn't say she was the owner I just assumed for some reason lol)Absolutely wonderful store, full of gorgeous plants and succulents. Excellent prices too. They had the brightest pink kalancho plant I’ve ever seen (Purchased it lol) The employee I spoke with is an amazing person, who was so sweet and kind. It was a joy speaking with her. For anyone giving the place 1 star based off the fact they enforce local laws on mask mandates is absurd. Im so glad I was able to safely shop somewhere where the owner cares about their employees and customers health and well being. I will be a repeat customer and tell all my friends about it! Thank you again for providing OKC and surrounding areas such an amazing store. 💫

Calvert's is simply the best! They are my go-to source for healthy, interesting plants. The staff is the most knowledgeable in the area. They always kindly and patiently help me pick the best plants for the desired location in my home and give me careful care instructions on how to make my plant babies thrive.Calvert's is also a caring community business. I am thankful for the safety measures they have taken during the pandemic to look out for their customers and staff. It has been a place I can go to re-charge and feel safe. Thank you, Calvert's!

I love all the unique tropical plants and specialty items that I can't find in some other nurseries. They have beautiful planters, too, and knowledgeable staff. I am learning more about plants and gardening, and when I go to Calvert's with questions while shopping, there is always someone on staff that has the answer. As of recent, things have been different everywhere, but I appreciate their mask policy, too. Sometimes I forget my mask when I go to places, but I appreciate the businesses that require staff and customers to have them. Great little local plant place!

My husband and I recently discovered Calverts and now I can not stay away! They have a wonderful selection of pots and plants at much better prices than any of the other nursery’s in town! The staff is always so nice and helpful! I have now brought several of my family and friends who love it as well!

I love this place! They’ve become like family to me. I check their social media stories every day. The staff is beyond helpful and I always feel welcome there — even when I used to take my kids (before the pandemic). Now they are requiring social distancing and masks and this nurse is proud to STILL support them.The quality of their plants is phenomenal and they have a very clean facility.Thanks for keeping us safe and green, Calvert’s!

I love this nursery. It is one of my favorite. It is three hours away from us & we are more than willing to drive there. The employees there are always very helpful. Always offer to help. I'm glad they're taking all the precautions. This just show that they care about their employees & customers will being than money! Can't wait to go back to visit again! 🤗

Calverts is amazing. In the middle of the city but it feels like a jungle/garden/greenhouse oasis. Very big selection of plants, accessories, and pots all at fair prices. Knowledgeable employees. Extremely kind and considerate. I love buying plants here.

Beautiful! Just beautiful. Such unique plants and pots. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. The prices are a bit more than the three big chain stores I normally go to for plants but these are much more loved and healthy. Go just to check it out, you'll enjoy it.

Customer services is lacking because there is never a friendly response when I call or come in. (Wendy is a peach though.) With the business and virus situation I understand why people would be on edge though and it really doesn't bother me.What does frustrate me is when I inquire about holding plants (even if you buy them first) I get told no, but then when I visit I see plants being held for others. Since there is a no hold policy, even if you pay first, I always miss out on the plants I'm looking for since I live in Norman. It's just a bummer because most other places will allow a buy and hold over the phone.Other than that, I love Calverts and will continue to support my local small business because those things aren't a deal breaker for me. It's a beautiful place with great plants and prices and deserves 5 stars. If having to wear a mask and deal with a few grumpy employees drives you away, then you probably won't be missed. 🤷‍♀️
