this was our dog’s first trip to the groomer and we will never go anywhere else again! she was very nervous so the staff being so friendly and good with her made a big difference. the place is very clean and respectable. they did a great job getting the shelter smell off of her and making her coat soft & shiny for a very reasonable price. thanks guys!

We have an extremely anxious German Shepard, and they’re always so attentive and gentle with him! And he always leaves looking so handsome! We struggle with finding places that can groom him as well as keep him calm, but they know just how to do it!

We got our girl groomed here last-minute this past weekend. Her hair had become matted during the grow-out from the last (horrible!!) grooming she had in November. We knew we wanted to get her shaved and keep her hair long, as we often put it up with bows or braids.We got a call back from a voicemail we left on the machine to go ahead and bring her in. Someone had canceled so a spot was open.It’s a busy, small shop. Groomers were working on dogs as we came in. Juneau hates going to the groomers so she began to shake and ask to be held. We got her checked in.I was very appreciative that the woman working the front desk wrote down every note we gave her. We wanted her shaved down, groomed like a poodle, with her hair left long, no gland expression, etc.Dutifully, she put the notes down and they took Juneau to the kennel to wait.I was nervous, as I always am, while she was getting groomed. They have a text system to alert you when they are finished, and just two hours after I dropped her off, I was notified that Juneau was ready.When I saw her, I knew I had found a new groomer. Though they had cut her ear hair a little shorter than I usually like it, the hair was in proportion to her top knot and body.She didn’t seem too scared as they passed her back to me, either. Even better, the price was far below what I have paid at far worse groomers here in the city.When we got home I also noticed Juneau’s body was free of the nicks and razor burn she usually gets from a close shave.I can really tell they took care of Juneau.Perhaps my only complaints are the ear length and that she had a slight “dog” odor when we got her home. Even when she’s dirty from being outside she has a nice, natural odor that is far from smelling like a dog. Only thing I can think of is that it came from the kennel she waited in.Both of these things I’m sure can be addressed next time. They’re running a great business here.

I love this place. Both my dogs are rescues and one is a little timid but he never seems stressed when I pick him up. The guy that runs this (at least I think he runs it) is always soooo nice. You can tell he truly loves the animals and has a lot of experience. I feel so comfortable taking me dogs here and that's a big deal to me.

We just moved to OKC and brought our dog here to be groomed. When we dropped her off, they said it would take an hour and a half. After waiting for an hour and a half, they still had not touched her. They then said to come back in another hour and a half. When we went back at the time they told us, they still had not groomed her. They said we could wait another hour. We decided to just take her home and look for another groomer. They offered no consolation or explanation. I would not recommend this grooming salon after this experience.

I took my fur baby Toby, who's a mix of Shi Tzu and Maltese, yesterday for grooming at this place for the first time. They were wonderful! Toby was very nervous because new people and place for him, but the staff was super understanding and patient with him. When I picked him up, he was a lot calmer and I could tell he was pampered. The haircut was also great, he looked so cute and his coat was even softer than usual; I was impressed! They're also very reasonably priced. I am so glad my friend recommended this place to me, they're amazing and this will be Toby's new grooming place now.

We’ve been going to Bark Avenue for several years and always have a really good experience. My pups are usually anxious at first, but everyone is very nice and caring and treat my boys so well. They really work to understand exactly what you’re wanting your dog to look like. Very reasonable prices as well! I also love that I can get an afternoon appointment, rather than having him there early in the morning like some places.

We've tried a few different groomers for both of our rescues and Bark Avenue has proven time and time again they truly are the best. I've brought my pups in looking pretty scruffy and they take the time to make them look great again, when with previous groomers, they would just shave them to save time. Even when I forget to schedule ahead of time, they are usually able to squeeze me in within a few days. They are super sweet and the prices are fair. We will definitely stick with Bark Avenue. They really are the best of the best. 🐶

We absolutely love taking our fur kids to Bark Avenue! They always come home looking and smelling absolutely wonderful! Besides the top notch grooming- the customer service is beyond amazing! I always feel so welcome and comfortable leaving our dogs in the hands of the staff. One things that always stands out is the fact that the team always offers to helps get our dogs safely to the car (our boxer can get a little rowdy). We are so happy we found such a truly exceptional groomer!

I love this place! I've brought my Buffy here 3 times now for a walk-in nail trim, and they have done a great job every single time. They are super quick and have taken her immediately every time without appointment. I only wait about 10 mins in the car, and they walk her right out to me. They are awesome. I've never had her come back to me with bleeding toes or anything out of the ordinary. Walk ins are super convenient since most groomers in the area are always booked out weeks upon weeks.

I just recently moved from another area, where I had been taking my dog to get groomed for several years now. When moving to OKC, I didn't think that I would be able to find a place that was affordable, like the precious groomer I had been taking my dog to, reliable, and would be able to do as great of a job on my dog's grooming as the previous groomer did. Well, I have definitely found the perfect place here at Bark Avenue. They are affordable, responsive, and they did an incredible job on my dog, all within a reasonable amount of time. I didn't have to sit around all day waiting to pick her up. They did a great job, and they will definitely be getting my business for years to come. If you are looking for a groomer that does an amazing job, and one that also doesn't break the bank, Bark Avenue is the place!

I want to give 5 stars but I have to be upfront and honest. The owner is wonderful and excellent as groomer.He's doing the right thing by employing new students. And in a way he's grooming these young people to be as excellent as he isThe absolute only disappointment I have ever had is the new groomers are not yet up to par.It's a very clean salon. Very well manged and an excellent location with plenty of parking. And yes of course I will be returning as usual.

By far the best groomer I've ever used. We have a very high strung 8lb poodle-pom with severe separation anxiety so I know he's not the easiest to handle, but everyone is so sweet and never makes us feel like he's a bother. Not to mention no matter how rough he looks going in he always comes back to us perfect. We love Bark Avenue!

We took our two Saint Bernards here and they look great! Fair pricing, no surprises after we picked them up (they were done when he said they would be too). I don't think our dogs have ever looked better.The people were friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend Bark Avenue to anyone who cares about their dogs!

They do a very thurough job and are very reasonably priced. My dog Bradley always comes out looking great and it only takes around 2 hours. I give some specifics of how I like him to look. He's part poodle so it's easy to end up with a goofy looking face. The owner had me text him a picture and it turned out just as I wanted. Glad I found this little place!

I've been to many groomers in the metro area. Bark Avenue is hands down the best. Their facility is super clean, prices are reasonable, staff is excellent & most importantly, they take great care of my dogs. Also, their grooming services are the best in OKC. My dogs are cut to perfection; no nicks/scrapes/cuts from the clippers and everything is evenly trimmed. Their ears and rest of body are also thoroughly cleaned. I can't say enough about this place.

Had my dog groomed here Christmas Eve. They were great, I have an anxious dog and she came out looking and smelling beautiful. Everything is done according to covid procedures, but it does not impede service at all. I am very pleased and will return.
