I came today to get a feeder rat for my ball python and I am absolutely so upset with how these animals are treated… absolutely no humidity in any enclosures literally not a lick. The ball python is skinny not enough hides for them and stuck shed. The bearded dragons shed is completely stuck on his head because once again NO humidity. Not including multiple snakes housed together when they shouldn’t be. Super disappointed. Will be getting my feeders else where.

We stopped by twice yesterday hoping to add a new family member (spoiler alert, we did). Both times we were greeted promptly and kindly. Everybody in the store was very concerned with the health and safety of all the animals & were knowledgeable on each of the snakes temperament. They keep great records of meals & whether the critters had been eating. All the terrariums were pristine, and you can really tell how much the staff cares about the animals they care for! This store has everything you would need to house, feed & entertain the animals you can go home with. We loved being able to learn about all the ball pythons.

This place was amazing, purchased my Tegu from here. Employees were very sweet and knowledgeable. Raven was super friendly and helped me answer all my questions. She gave me more info on owning a Black and White Argentine Tegu and also showed me how to sex Madagascar Hissing cockroaches since I’ve never owned any. All their reptiles looked fantastic and well cared for. They had two tegus I chose between. I ended up returning the first tegu due to shedding issues and plus I wanted a younger one. I forgot the name but the manager was very kind and said he could give the tegu a soak to help the stuck shed and also let me look at the other tegu. He was very kind and gentle with both. I ended up going with the other tegu which ended up perfect because he’s so sweet and docile and let me handle him easily. All their reptiles were very well cared for they do amazing the only thing I was concerned with is the alligator up front if that’s the enclosure it stays in 24/7 and the pythons in the containers but they all seemed well cared for. Definitely love my little tegu Denali.

OKC Hidden Gem! Always a joy to stop in when home visiting family! Grew up coming here often as a child and love to now get to bring my 3 year old son! The tanks were so clean and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. They had the sweetest ferrets available and a great selection of reptiles and terrarium accessories, as always! Highly recommend!

My female on the left and my male on the right thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Thanks to Alligator Alley, Yenko spent a solid 45 minutes exploring his vines that he got for Christmas. I had no idea a $13 item in a pet store was going to make my animals so happy thank you so much and I will be back again when I need something else.

I have never been to a place like this before! (It was fun) It had tons of different reptiles and all of the housing, food, toys and decor for the little burgers. If I was going to get a reptile, I would personally get a gecko or a tree frog. They had more than just reptiles. They had ferrets, guinea pigs, etc.. the place was hard to find because the outside didn’t look like a store. The inside was clean for a reptile store, but need some updating in my opinion. I loved that we got to feed the alligator Martha. If you’re looking for a one stop shop to get everything you need to take care of reptile, including the reptile, this would be the best place in OKC.😃👍

I've been going here for years. I actually picked up 2 turtles from here and they're wonderful! Only complaints I've had recently is their feeders worms, I come in getting about 300 to 400 pretty often. At first they came in just plain old containers and for the price they were awesome! Recently tho they've given us recycled yogurt containers and butter containers. The containers weren't cleaned out fully, there was a sour smell from the previous bunch we got, enough that my bearded dragon and my 5 turtles refused to eat them. This last container we got was also dirty smelling. It had that old butter smell and the superwormz themselves are so potent that my babies are debating on eating them again. This wasn't an issue for a while but recently the cleanliness of their feeders aren't good. Good place for reptiles, maybe need to find somewhere else for food.

I create paludarium with my friends and we have checked out almost all reptile store in Norman, Edmond and OKC ... yes alligator ally has an alligator but when you walk in do you noticed the dirty air pollution? that's not good for those reptiles in small enclosure. I brought 2 tree frog and they grew much healthier now.

Messy unkept, everything is extremely overpriced even the broken items then let me buy four snakes, knowing I would need to feed them the following week only to fail to mention they’ll only sell me a maximum of three mice. There’s a better cleaner, economic place called Wilbanks. Amazing quality amazing people I would recommend you go here instead of alligator Alley.

Needed to rehome a bearded dragon, these people were very compassionate and very helpful. You could tell they understand the reptiles and care about the animals.

The starving alligators in tanks barely the size of their body fed by dog food should be all you need to know about how this store handles its animals. When I was last there, they had two separate alligators, both in tanks meant for fish. One near the front with a dog food dispenser on top, and the other in a back, dark corner that hissed if you got close. It's genuinely heartbreaking. I'm shocked this place is rated so high, especially when overlooking the animal abuse that's rampent in the store, it's just insanely cluttered. Old, unused terrariums just piled in the corner, aisles barely wide enough to shuffle through, the list goes on. This place is a massive fire hazard on top of the mile-long list of animal cruelty examples.

At the beginning of my snake keeping I would’ve given this place 5 stars. The staff was friendly and they seemed to be well educated. But, as I bounced around to various breeders, I realized they completely misled us and gave us terrible advice. They keep multiple snakes in one enclosure until they sell and told us “you’d be able to keep 2 ball pythons in a 40 breeder just fine” so that’s what we did. We noticed behavioral changes in our ball python we already had after about a week after putting our new addition in with her. She wouldn’t come out of the hide to explore, ever. We came to learn that ball pythons NEED individual enclosures and when we removed the newest addition from that enclosure our older snake returned to normal. Alligator Alleys facility is cluttered, unorganized, and I feel so poorly for how the animals are kept. I recommend going to Wilbanks or I also recommend MJ Burton (Snakeman) Reptiles (illinois) on Morph Market :)

I love this place. Always would come when I was a kid. Budget friendly and don't have to worry about getting crickets, mealworms, or Dubai Roaches and majority of them are dead like in Petsmart.Con: The smell when you walk in hits you hard and can knock you out, but hey they have live animals in there so it is to be expected.

If zero ⭐️ was an option sadly this would be the case. This shop is borderline negligent in some cases, and completely neglectful on the majority. There were animals in small enclosures, they were dirty...the two largest in the back that were "not for sale" were in such bad conditions....I was really excited to come visit this place, and the way the Alligators were kept broke my heart....

Cool store. It's packed with all kinds of things. Alot of Bearded Dragons, tons of snakes, lizards and ofcourse two small gators. But also had a few guinea pigs, which I thought was a little odd...smelly. But overall, great experience, awesome helpful stall. I'll be back.

Great place for all things reptilian, amphibian, rodent, etc. They are knowledgeable about the animals they have for sale. On the negative, sometimes they expect you to know as much as they do, and forget you might not be as informed. They are a wealth of knowledge. It's very fun to feed the gators and, when it's allowed, to touch the ferrets.

Very friendly staff. They have giant turtles in there you can feed for $1, along with an alligator you can feed for 25cents. Tons of snakes, lizards, turtles, alligators, spiders, and even some mice, Guinea pigs, and hamsters to choose from. The store is a bit cluttered, but, mostly from how many amazing things are in there. There's care items for the reptiles and even small furry animals. The prices are very reasonable too. Big reccomend.

Alligator Alley is a unique pet store in perfect balance. They have all types of reptiles and animals waiting to go home with new owners. Their staff is always friendly and ready to help. They are busy at times due to the amount of customers they serve but you won't be disappointed.
