Small store tucked away next to Goodwill, went here on a whim and was not disappointed. Store is packed with tons of specialty items and food, huge selection of different chews for large dogs. Lots of heavy chewer toys and quality cat toys available. Store clerk was very helpful and informative about all products and animals. Usually the store has rescue in house but because of the dog flu outbreak it's temporarily postponed.

Staff is welcoming, and they are very knowledgeable about the brands of raw foods they carry. They definitely care about animals. My cats and dog love the NW Naturals that they carry. They have a variety of flavored goat milk, more than I've seen anywhere else (but I'm fairly new to OK City). Highly recommend this store!

Best dog/cat pet store in the city! We buy most all of our supplies here. The staff clearly enjoy their jobs and my dog absolutely loves coming to visit them. I appreciate how A1 looks out for the health of our pets by only stocking quality products and quickly notifying customers and pulling items from shelves when recalls happen. They'll even special order some items if they don't have it in stock!

Great, friendly service and they have a dog food I specifically need for my Cane Corso. This is a clean good place to go to! They also have a variety of tasty healthy treats I buy there for my Dog. I'm So happy I don't have to travel 20 miles away which is the next nearest place available. Fair prices for good their different pet brand products. 👍🏽

This was our first time visiting. We just popped in on a whim after seeing this location while in the parking lot for a different store. And I’m so happy we did! The staff was so kind and helpful, we got several treats for our puppy and the team member gave us some food samples to try out! We will definitely be back!

Even ooed and awed over our pet pics 😍 They have a bunch of information on local non-profits that need extra holiday help, as well as training and care information for your pets. We enjoyed talking with the staff and selecting special treats for our pets, and will definitely be back!

Just left A1 Pet Emporium they asked about my service dog but we're respectfully and always asked questions before doing anything. They helped me with anything I needed and I asked them recommendations on dog bones and bought the one I was recommended to buy and my service dog loves it! I love this small little business and will start coming here for my dog bones and the duck feet since I can go right across the street to Pet supplies plus and get dog treats.

Easiest place to get my dogs food. I like what they sell and they often have sales which is nice. Staff is sometimes hit and miss just to be honest- mostly I just would like to be asked about using my rewards instead of just assuming. Multiple times I said I didn’t want to use them that day and they used them anyways.

You will be hard-pressed to find any other store with people so knowledgeable about what your pet in particular, and such animals in general, require in their diets (our cats, for instance, derive from species that are *only* "obligate carnivores," which means most of what they're typically fed shouldn't be fed to them: *at bare minimum,* it means actual meat should be the first ingredient, not "meal," and no ingredient should be grains).

The only bad thing about this store is I've moved from OKC and don't have anything like it nearby. The staff was always SUPER friendly and helpful to me. They will take their time to answer your questions and really come across as caring for your pet's needs. Yes, their stuff is more expensive. But I've always found that the investment in quality food is reflected in your dog's overall health in the long run.

I have always gone to A1 they treat me like family. Today however I had an extremely emotional day had to have teeth extracted on my pup. I asked bill if they had my brand of food in a wet option and he showed me where it was and he asked what was going on and I told him I didn’t want to get him hooked on the wet. And he provided me an alternative with goat milk and beef broth. Super helpful

A1 is your local go to shop for dogs and cats! My favorite thing about A1 is that you can bring your fur baby with you! I love that they have events with the community and stuff going on almost every weekend. The staff is so kind and willing to answer any questions. A1 partners with a lot of local rescues for adoption events. If you haven't been to A1 yet, go on and get down there!

A1 Pet Emporium has been my go to place since I've moved to Oklahoma 1 month ago. The staff here at the Britton Rd location are awesome. They're super welcoming, lively, and helpful. They make me feel like I never left my local pet store back in Washington. They were able to special order my girls Grandma Lucy's MOXIE BEEF. I was able to request the 8oz bag as a trial and ended up requesting 3 bags of the 24oz. - If they don't have something in stock at the store, they will do their best to see if they can order it in for you. If they can't they will let you know. Best service ever!

I love A1! They have an amazing dog food selection and their staff always remembers my dog's name. The fabric toys I bought here have lasted my dachshund/terrier for 3-4 years now. Their rewards program saves me money on dog food as well. 10/10 Highly recommend!
