Staff in the deli/Bakery always fantastic. Joel in the meat department is super friendly and always ready to help get what you need and keeps you informed of sales and new products.Prices are a little high if sales aren't going on, but when they are, they are great.

They have some decent sales but their prices are generally very high. The selection is very low. And for around a month now they are not partnered with any convenience store in town that honors their fuel rewards. And since their fuel rewards do expire, all of them that you have earned just start expiring 15 cents at a time because they can't be used. I have tried to call the corporate office which is what they have told me that I need to do but nothing changes. No one answers the phone call with the corporate office or returns a phone call. There are several gas stations in this town and they have only selected to contract with one for fuel rewards and that one is no longer honoring them. I would just like for the fuel rewards that I have earned to not expire simply because I am waiting on them to get their act together and figure out what they can do about this. Everybody just goes well I don't know ask somebody else, oh no I don't know either go ask another guy, oh I just don't have any idea either go ask this other person. Maybe you should call the corporate office. Brick wall.Also, hey I think it's great that you have the thing at the register now where the customer can type in their own rewards number, which is your actual phone number, but you still have all of your cashiers wanting it said out loud in front of everybody and just can't get it through their heads that if you'll give me a second to get up there to where I can type it in myself with the machine that the store did provide for me to do that I would love to not shout my phone number out to the entire store! But then they tell you that they don't have a choice they have to tell you to give it to them even before you can finish loading your groceries on to the conveyor belt because they're in a hurry to do this. So many weird rules and policies at this place. Unfortunately it is the only ball game in town when it comes to grocery stores, but more frequently and more frequently I am doing online pickup at Walmart or Reasor's. A lot of people in this town want to talk about how important it is to shop - but shopping local is just not beneficial to the customer at Homeland.

I like most everything about Homeland with the exception of them allowing people to bring their dogs in the store and letting them ride in the shopping carts. I am a dog lover but not in the grocery store in the shopping carts.

A very nice deli for lunches. Shrimp cocktail, crab snacks, chicken wrap, etc. Lots of workers that are always busy.

The store is very clean most of the employees are helpful but the prices are way over priced. The local Family Dollar and Dollar General are cheaper to grocery shop than here

Pros: Staff is always friendly. Store is remarkably clean at all times. Pretty varied selection for a small-town store. Excellent fried chicken (when it's not sold out). Sales are quite frequent for a lot of items. Homeland Rewards pairs well with the nearby gas station.Cons: Prices on a lot of things make considering trips to Wal-Mart viable. Sells out of chicken strips far too quickly. Diet Dr. Pepper almost never in stock because demand far outstrips supply.Overall: Pretty good store. Needs more Diet Dr. Pepper and chicken strips. Prices could use more competitive adjustments. 4/5

Store is OK. They're way to exspensive for this area. Don't understand how jobs pay 7.25 an hr here but these prices are so high. They don't always have what I need. But the staff is always nice. PS hire more cashiers.

Prices are Great. Saves me money. Employees are helpful and courteous. Store is well stocked. Meat cutter on duty for Custom cuts. My Homeland Card Saves me a lot of money with items that are on sale and it's free. Also has a gasoline discount that builds up each time I shop. This store is small, but packed full of just about everything you need to prepare a meal. The produce department was stocked with ripe fruits and veggies, and the dairy department had several varieties of milk products to choose from.When I was paying for my items I was asked if I had a Homeland card. I live in a city that doesn't have a Homeland store, so I don't have a card. The cashier (Colin) was kind enough to use a store card. It saved me about 75 cents, and I appreciated the gesture and the excellent customer service.

Prices are a little high on some things and lower on other things. No different than any other store I shop at. Have a lot of buy 2 get three free specials that includes some meats that can be freezed. Managers and all the people work there are very friendly and helpful. Clean store also.

My experience at Homeland in the past has been good but however Itheir customer service has gone downhill within the last 2 months I don't know if it's because of the corona or what I called up there asking for a product the person on the other line told me they do not have it I understand I asked when the product may be delivered to the store they simply said I don't was not able to figure out what date it would arriving how are you supposed to sell any product if you don't even know when it's going to arrived I'm hoping in the future that you're not treat their customers I did is an inconvenience for them to find out when a product is arriving anyways I will be still shopping I like the store and usually people are very nice

Nowata is a very small town in the middle of nowhere. I was totally surprised at how well appointed this grocery store is. They have a great deli selection, hot and cold, great fruit/vegetable department. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Much nicer than some small town groceries I have been too.

This Grocery Getter feels like this grocery store has upped their game in the last little while! They have a LOT of offerings, which I really appreciate. Their meat market knows what they are doing. The associates are truly helpful and seem to appreciate my business. I love that this location has a Facebook page and that they take recommendations for stock. I love that I see Becky and Joel and David almost every time I go in there. They always smile and are very open and willing to have a conversation. lol. I appreciate these things about the store, as well as their good sales. Thank you, Nowata Homeland!

Not bad for a small town store. They have all the basics. They do seem to sell out of random things pretty often. Its pretty clean and they normally have at least 2 cashiers working.

It's owned by those who work thier . Prices are good with Homeland card plus a gass discount. Have every thing you mite need to make allmost any meal and a wide variety of foods small size and the large size for family's.
